Playing some BF5 Pacific in my BFV Japanese Mitsubishi A6M zero, looking forward to upgrading the American Corsairs as well too later on. Only in Battlefield 5

Luis Hector Dude it’s extremely OP lol. You don’t have to be remotely accurate and the rounds have no drop and a slight amount of spread.
When you get the level 6 handling upgrade it flies like a mad man you can literally out turn everyone

Am I the only one who thinks that zero's should have way better turning, but 25-50% less health?
@@arianas0714 that would be the most realistic solution. also the corsair should be able to get away from the zero quite easily

The dogfight with the two Corsairs in the middle of the video in cockpit view was the most badass Battlefield Moment I've seen in years!

Man the plane fully upgraded is a beast, and with spotting flares you can single handedly turn the tide on a match. I have never been good with planes on this game, but yesterday got 32-1 which is unreal for a plane noob like me.
When the fliegers eventually get nerfed, this plane is going to be unstoppable.
10:50 90% of my engagements end with that
99 percent of mine end with a flieger faust
The incendiary bombs are insane. They burn for such a long time. Sometimes i die with my plane and as i respawn as infantry i still get hitpoints. Besides that they just look the coolest of all the bombs.

Fliegerflausts are essentially a nerf for the planes.

Damn, I went all right hand specs with both American and Japanese planes and now I have to make it through the grind to reset and try out the explosive rounds you all praise so much :D
Also I just understood where my emergency repair went only by watching the video right now, I got the smoke too and it didn't pay out so far, so thanks for mentioning it in the video!

This is literally and basically a rework of Battlefield 1943 ! Man, i can't wait to see Okinawa, Guadalcanal, Wake island, Coral sea, Tarawa etc etc !

@@HKS592 Pretty sure they will at some point i can also see them adding russia in as a faction some time later but that also could be it with the factions that's enough for me honestly then it's only all about the maps/weapons and stuff
The next 2 things they have to add are the germans to the European theatre and the Russians ofcourse. They should add a nuke to the end screen anytime americans have a victory in breakthrough.

@@i_nameless_i-jgsdf sure if they use some AI but I'm pretty sure a bigass explosion would be much easier for devs to implement, even tho I know it'll never happen.
I love strafing the boats with the 4x 20mm upgraded with explosive rounds. My best is a quad kill in one strafe, make sure to get the cool down upgrade as well

I like the detail where the tail of the A6M are not having any red stripes onto it... unlike other games... cuz this zero is ground based aircraft... not Akagi’s aircraft
Spotting flares, fire bombs, explosive rounds... With that combination you can turn matches(true)
Niccaman, I'm genuinely glad that you feel my pain as a pilot and talk about it. I can't have a DAMN decent dogfight. Either my camper teammates kill the enemy pilot with feligerfuast before I do or they kill me. I hate this nonsense. It's like fighting in a modern war with WWII planes. It must be removed or at least became a rare pickup weapon.

To my testing the Fliegerfaust deals more damage the closer the plane is,
also using the FF right, involves leading the plane and continuing to do so
while the shots go off.
It is a great tool for the Assault class to finally have something against planes,
but i wouldn't argue it is too strong currently.
TTK in planes with the main guns is pretty high, sadly.

The explosive guns are super good on the zero. Combo it with the finned barrel, 2 542lb bombs, dropping the AT mines, it’s unstoppable. I drop the mines on American aircraft carriers to prevent like the next 3 planes from take off which clears the skies for a brief moment where in that time you can take care of existing planes or strafe infantry. Super dirty but very effective.

I use my Zero A6M2 with the 4x primary MGs, engine upgrade, incendiary bombs, flares and the maneuverability upgrade... It is a beast in the sky, and quite good against infantry.

Does Niccaman have a dog fighting tutorial for BFV? can't seem to find one in his videos.
Aerial combat question:
So I used to play BFV a lot and took some time away, but I am back and...I've either lost the touch for flying or the mechanics have changed and I didn't know. I was never amazing but I was a decent pilot. I probably won 7 out of 10 fights. And if I got someone on my tail I had a decent chance of throttling back, turning tight, breaking loose and finding myself behind them. But my experience since coming back is I look around, clear skies and then somehow there's someone on my tail and I can't shake them. Dead. Or I find myself behind them and they lose me pretty quickly and get behind me. Dead. I'm just not having much success. Has flying changed or am I just rusty and need to get more time in the cockpit to get it back?
OP setup for the primary corsair and Zero: 20m’s, 20m’s explosive, crossover to incendiary bombs, flares and air radar!
1 pass with flares, 1 pass with bombs and a final pass with explosives before resupply - rinse and repeat!
The upraged trees for planes and tanks are really cool now
i’ve been using the 2x 500lb bombs which are very good at tank busting. is it worth it to switch to the incendiaries?

Niccaman. Do you have any suggestions or advice of how to get some points in the planes? I'm still stuck on level 0 or 1 and I've been trying to level them up for months. Spitfire, ME109, etc; and now the Zero and Corsair - all with bugger all upgrades. I use keyboard and mouse. I've tried, without success an old Saitek joystick and a PS4 controller. I honestly don't know what to do mate. I was a good pilot in BF 3,4 and 1. I just don't seem to be able to turn well enough in this one. Any (positive) advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

So have they completely got rid if the bomb article gor the fighter bombs?
The Fliegerflausts are what the stingers were in BF4 I hate them and they ruined the flying. Now the basic bombs on the zero, I've had success with the tanks doing a dive bomb on the top of them. Does pretty good damage and have gotten a few tank kills with them. Coming in at an angle and hitting the sides does minimal damage.
I did 48 KD with the first plane, its awesome. Super supportive team and wingman.

I feel a bit confused because i had my planes set up pretty good in the past but i gave bf5 up for months and gave it another go to be in the pacific. The settings look normal but it all feels backwards and im not in control of the aircraft. Ita suicide for me to fly now. I put all aircraft setting to default and start over but i cant identify what the main issue is. I really want to fly a Corsair. Tanks still feel normal.

you have to get those incendiary bombs they are op and i just love when like you return to your resupply you still get hitmarks because they are burning.

That zero with the 6HMGS is the bomber variant lol, but yeah it can be used as anti air as well, but I’m pretty sure that’s the bomber one, cause the Corsair on the right is the bomber version for the Americans.

Nicca if you fly near the water using the Zeros against the Corsairs, the Corsair have less turning ability so if you make sharp turns they will slow down and stall into the water.
Thank God for the Fleigerfaust. It keeps OP planes from running the battlefield.
Tip for players: if u keep dying to the fliegerfaust your flying to low for to long
Counter: fly higher up and when strafing start higher up and finish at a decent range away from the ground, I one hit so many dive bombers because they get to close

Mate, I have to agree with you. Tried Pacific for first time and was excited to try new aircraft. However the air war has been totally ruined by every single infantryman having fliegerfausts which are extremely OP. I hope it gets fixed.

Those Incendiary Bombs are Napalm, they’re supposed to have a huge area with fire irl.
So I know I will get some backlash for saying this but everytime he talks about how much he hates the fliegerfaust he says "screw you" but dice most likely implemented the fliegerfaust because of how much people hates planes and pilots

Nick, your rockets are anti aircraft rockets. They work so well against enemy aircraft! Give it a go!
Possibly a good strategy would be to pull up early and avoid the range of the fliegerfaust.

High explosive + Napalm is a way to go if you wanna farm infantry... really fun, already lvl 6 with the Zero and 150 kills
