I think this story deserves more coverage and time from news media. Certainly more than Kevin McCarthy's quit and run from Congress. I didn't vote for the man. But it seems to me that the people who did had a contract with Kevin. And that contract won't be fulfilled until January 2025. Why does he think he can just quit?

Pretty sure it helps the people living in them, the people building them, the company's supplying the building materials. Potentially local businesses too.
