Was hoping it would be Hayden. Would’ve been pretty sick to hear Anakin Skywalker’s voice come out of Shadow’s mouth but Keanu Reeves is still an amazing pick (I’m not surprised though, people have been fancasting Keanu as Shadow since the first Sonic movie).

6:45 - Let's just say that Shadow's storyline is the most well developed out of any character in all of the Sonic games. He is a very complicated character that goes through all of the motions that make major characters memorable.
Shadow being voiced by Reeves is so appropriate, and can actually make the guns work for Shadow as Reeves was John Wick.

Keanu was at the top of my list for Shadow! And normally who I want never gets picked, but to find out its coming true I am even more hyped!! Sonic 3 was already anticipated for the holidays, now to find out Keanu Reeves is gonna be Shadow has now got even more anticipation! Gonna be an extremely busy Christmas for theaters this year!

Bro, since I first saw Sonic 2's post credit, I wanted Keanu to play Shadow!
Having been there since the old movie sonic trailer was released, and now seeing stuff for a spin off series and third movie, I am so happy with how far this series has come and I hope it will continue somehow even if Jim Carrey retires. I feel blessed to have grown up at the prime of these movies.

I believe he can pull it off. I just finished Cyberpunk 2077 and I loved his acting in that. That gives me the peace of mind I need for Keanu Reeves to play Shadow. And if Shadow does get his own movie or show, should Shadow join Sonic's team, the premise could be Shadow learning to live in a world he believes took everything from him and see that not every human is a bad person and finds a new purpose to protect earth along with Sonic and friend as a promise to Maria

I was hoping for Robert Pattinson, I think his voice is the closest analog I've heard to Adventure 2's David Humphrey Shadow. However, I think Keanu Reeves is a great analog to Jason Griffith Shadow, so I'm looking forward to seeing how he pulls it off.
