the first time I watched LOTR I watched the extended cuts back to back in one day, I DON'T recommend doing that for a first time viewing, it was so much information to take in and process, the second movie is basically useless except for the battle, yeah it was a lot

as far as lord of the rings goes, WB needs to realize they have so many stories and books that are already written to pull from. Tolkien really laid out such an incredible universe and WB decides not to use it, that’s where amazon failed with the new show imo
