I bought this bundle along with the Kajal eye shadow stick to take to Europe. It was phenomenal. No leaking, easy and fast to apply, and the Baked Balance and Brighten powder foundation looked great on my 65 year old skin. Couldn’t have been happier with my look!
I just started a new light balance and brighten and you’re right it’s a softer powder with more coverage. I love it just as much as the old formula, this is always works for my over 70 skin.

Happy Saturday, Emily! You gave me my first introduction into the world of Laura Geller and her baked cosmetics, and THANK YOU! I’m 57 and any liquid foundation I use “sharpens” any lines, and emphasizes my pores. It is SO frustrating! I used Bare Minerals and some other mineral foundations for quite awhile, and most of them looked wonderful on my skin. Unfortunately, many of the mineral formulations contain Bismuth, which made my skin itchy, and the loose powders were quite messy on top of it. Then along came you with Laura! Her baked formula has never irritated my skin. The compacts are well made, so the products travel well. Some of Laura’s foundation shades are a bit yellow on my very fair, very cool-toned skin, but I can easily make them work with a bit more bronzer. Again, THANK YOU!
LG did have a pallette years ago that had 5 eyeshadow, Tahiti glow, 2 blushes, a medium bronze and brighten, and french vanilla and portfolio highlighters. It was white with a pink damask print. She needs to bring that back!
I know you don’t do lots of indie palette reviews - but I’d love to see you review or just use a super colorful palette. Just for fun! Maybe like Ensley Reign or some brand like that. Maybe just as a background product. You always make such great eye looks and would love to see how you tackle!

Great video! I'm a drugstore girl, but I saw this exact LG face palette at a thrift store unused for 6 dollars! I've been in love ever since and get compliments when I use it. For reference I have oily skin, 47 yo, and light skin tone. I use sunscreen and then I use the original French vanilla highlighter as my all over face powder. It has no shimmer and good pigment for that purpose. I'm cool toned, so the bronzer on me works better as a contour shade, but the pink is my perfect bright pink. I highly recommend!
I'm a huge fan of Laura Geller's powder foundation. It's perfect on my aging face with lines and wrinkles. No settling and always looks natural.
I've found a couple of really nice LG eye pallettes at TJMaxx and Marshalls for under $10 for 10 or 14 shades. Her shadows aren't super pigmented which at first disappointed me. But then I realized the soft wash of color is much more flattering.
I love baked powders , I feel like in highlighters they’re softer and smoother looking on the face than a regular powder !😍
I love that all in one. I use it so much. That dark brown shadow especially and the FANTASTIC french vanilla!! I don't just use as a highlighter either I use as a brightening powder.
I'm on my third bake balance and brighten as well.
Ill be 41 this year and some makeup that worked great in my 30s isnt working as well. Been wanting to try Laura Gellar for a while and you've convinced me (on a good sale or TJMaxx/Marshalls)
I have been using Laura Gellar for so long I miss the days the shackle came in the large tube. I was so disappointed when they started selling it in the much smaller tubes. I LOVE all her powder products and the pencils are FABULOUS! Thanks for another trip down the happy memory lane. ❤️❤️❤️

I use an Elf powder puff and get full coverage with my Laura Gellar Balance & Brighten. I have the old one and I love i!! It turns into a cream on my skin and I do have to powder it. I have combo skin. I love the Laura Gellar makeup!! I especially love the Laura Gellar over sunscreen. It makes it feel less heavy.
I think my skin and age is ready for Laura Geller baked products! What a great video to help me choose what to order❤️

I use the baked French Vanilla as a setting powder on the inner and outer corners of my eyes. I carry it up just a bit from the outer corner onto the temple for a great brightening lift to the eye (after I'm done applying eye shadow).
Never enjoy baked products, but watching it anyways. Just grateful for my Emily time
I’m so happy to see you review this palette! I know I’ve recommended it a couple of times on here as it’s my all time favorite. I have 2. One blush is similar to yours, the other is a little lighter like your single. Both bronzers are deeper than yours so maybe you just got one with more of the highlighter swirls. It’s great for travel and don’t sleep on French vanilla as eyeshadow for an even more natural, pretty eye look (with almond as a powder liner).

I recently got the Full Face Basics pallette (on sale) and a Baked Balance and Brighten as my first try of Laura Geller products and have really been enjoying it. It is very convenient to have practically a full face in just two components.
Dangerous Dolly is one of my top 3 favorite lip liner.
The Rimmel mascara packaging looks like Too Faced Damn Girl mascara.

Love this palette. Easy and done. Sometimes I use the baked foundation. Easy peasy! While this can go sore glam, i tend to keep it low key.

Em, you’re doing my quick Friday morning routine. I leave early on Fridays and have done this quick makeup look for a couple of years. I love the Makeup revolution IRL concealer, set the skin under eyes with Maybelline Fit Me pressed powder and I use the Essence Powder Foundation for the rest of my face. 👍

I think that palette would look good as a subtle halo eye as well. One thing I’m a little iffy on about purchasing such a palette is the inconsistency of the swirls. Plus I’m a little darker skin so it may not show up as well on me but it looks great on you.😉
How do you just know what content I need! Been going through my collection for decluttering purposes, and as I age, I definitely lean toward baked powder products. It just sits so nicely on the face! Can’t wait to see whatcha got! ❤
It's interesting how baked powders just work differently... I could do this same routine with certain other powders and not achieve the same result

Hi Emily….first time commenter from me! I love my LG baked products..have been using them for about 6 years…have tons of other makeup products from high end to drugstore and without fail I come back to LG every time. I see that my face looks flawless with using primer and baked foundation and then blush etc. I also have a LG colour fixer triple pots….pink, green, and blue…hides all my flaws and rosacea completely . I put it on after primer and before BB&B. I use the medium in summer and the fair in winter…and don’t they last forever???? Not hit pan yet! Thanks for the video….Huge fan of the brand too! Xx

I also have an old vs new Balance n Brighten (Porcelain) and have noticed the shade does not look the same as it used to. Luckily, it does still work for me. I tested it upon opening just to be sure since I would have returned it with protests if it had not worked.

Thank you for doing this video. My bronzer in that pallet is so light that it comes off as just shiny peach. I love the rest. I use the brighter highlighter at the inner corner and it’s beautiful. I got my pallet on her website on sale with the foundation powder. The lip balm stick you used is my favorite. I have a different shade but it is so balmy and moisturizing. I have noticed a color change in the Fair shade. It used to have more of the darker, yellowish parts. I got Light thinking I could mix them, but Light is too dark and looks orange even when I just dust a tiny bit on. Oddly, the Fair in the matte version matches me well, it's just more matte than I want on an average day.
You gotta try the smart pout transfer proof lipstick!! It’s a hidden gem!!! I like it even better than my maybelline super stay crayons… I didn’t think that was possible.

I love the baked balance and glow. The blushes, lipsticks, everything is so good. Oh and the tinted moisturizer is amazing and doesn’t settle into lines.

Love these light, soft looks. My fave thing to do lately is to find a soft shimmery eyeshadow that is my skin tone or maybe just a smidgen deeper and just do a one shadow look. I feel l8ke it makes me look so awake and fresh. Icould see this palette in that sort of routine. Thanks Em!

I have a tip for anyone who may have had their baked and brighten baked foundation come off the tile. If you stick about 2-3 cotton rounds on top of the product, it keeps it in the compact tight and keeps it from breaking. Mine came off the tile on the bottom, but didn’t break. So I just sit the cotton rounds on top and it keeps it in there without tossing around inside the compact.

I’ve had them pop off and just crush them up with rubbing alcohol and put them back into the pan. There’s tons of videos on how to do it and it works!
My absolute favorite makeup pallet I use it every single day! And I travel with it. I absolutely loved my baked balance and brighten foundation in medium. I'm just a Geller girl always will be. Her products are gorgeous and glowy and easy and I get lots of compliments. Love seeing your videos using her products because you genuinely enjoy them so it's fair representations of her line!

My favorite line!! I use Laura Geller as foundation a lot. Love it. You are right about the swirls looking different. I guess not every one is alike. I had that palette and I got a very light pink buttercream in my palette. Yours looks deeper and I gave it to my mom and I got the other face palette with more shadows in tuscan dreams and love the blush in that in starfish island. I love the bronzer and use that Tahitian sunset but also use Tuscan sun for me since I need more depth. My husband stole my Tahitian sunset and uses it. 😂 I have at least 10 of her blushes and I noticed kosas has some out that mimic hers but I have enough and won’t be getting the Kosas. These last so long. I use the golden medium and it’s perfect for me and when I have a tan, use the tan balance and brighten. It’s really adaptable. Thanks for sharing this. ❤

Great video!!! ❤As much as I love Laura Geller and have been rocking her since the 2007. I had the entire balance and brighten set, eyeshadows, loved her eyeliners, the blushes, highlighters, her lip oil before they were trendy. I was an avid supporter. However I am not happy with her shade range. She seems stuck in time. I ordered her Double take in Honey when it was on sale, can't wear it because the shade is so off and there aren't enough shades to choose from. 😢 So I haven't bought anything else from her. I do love Italian baked make up ever since I went to Italy and bought a loose powder in my shade (yea I was happily surprised myself) I was in love. So now I use Sephora's micro smooth baked powders which are superb, and they have a wider range of shades. 🤷🏾♀️😂
The one good thing about ordering Laura Geller from QVC is that many times that they will have super sizes of the foundation and even sometimes the bronzer.

I have been using Laura Geller foundation for about a week now and I like it. I went from using no foundation to this and I like the light coverage that doesn't feel sticky or heavy like a cream foundation. I like her retractable brush, too. I have worn her eyeshadow once and look forward to playing with it more. I may get the spackle and the blush next. Not sure yet. Tfs.

I love LG, I’ve been using her spackle and balance and brighten in normal and glow in porcelain for years. Absolutely love it. I even use it for a finishing powder over my liquid foundation and works great too. Keep making these contents of LG, love to see them! ❤

Laura Geller just did a video with Rose Makeup and said that in the baked and balance foundation you should go up one shade. It was news to me and I’ve been using LG for a decade 😂

I use the French vanilla as an under eye setting powder. Love it. And I’m usually a light in foundations. My light is way too dark. I had to get fair. I can finally wear the light after a 2 week sunny vacation, first time been able to wear it. I love the baked balance and bright foundation. It is not drying on my dry skin. And I love the bronze primer. The primer is very hydrating too. This is my first time with these Laura Gellar products. I have and have used the eyeliners too. Am getting the big eyeliner soon to try. Also love the cream stick blushes. Love your channel. ❤

I have this palette and it is very nice. I was most disappointed with the eyeshadow. The mid tone shade barely shows up and the deepest shade did nothing for me. But, I love the bronzer, blush and highlighters!
I LOVE Laura Gellar products. I'm still working on a Balance and Brighten foundation in Light that I got about 2 years ago. I bought a backup last month and haven't tried it yet. I'll have to try it tomorrow to see how it's changed. Thank you for the tips on the foundation!!
