In 2 We Believe He's talking more about how Bayo's sexuality is portrayed than the sexuality itself. Bayo's design is a teenage boy's fantasy. He even goes on to hint at how that aspect being toned down in 2 makes it feel more mature, and I agree. We all know about the intent behind the simple titillation in Bayo1, but that is what it is. It feels reined in a little for Bayo2 and the game is better for it.
Bayo's proportions are way too grotesque to be a teenage boy's fantasy. Her design is intentionally exaggerated, and I doubt it was ever meant to be taken seriously.
BeatGoat Her proportions are entirely about enhancing the gameplay, yes, but they are not what the average teenage boy's mind is going to be focused on with her design. I never stated this was a bad thing. Again, we all understand the intent behind the design choices. All I'm saying is that in the mind of the average consumer, those choices aren't apparent because grossly misproportioned people of both sexes have been in media for centuries.

Unique Player04 I'd say ARMS is one of the best experiences on the switch and bayonetta 2 is sure to be too, I'm glad you'll get to experience them!
It’s pretty obvious that Alex didn’t work on the script.
I hope the 3rd game will have true next gen graphics. You can really see those ugly textures and sawtooth edges
If I was to ever have a waifu, bayonetta would be that waifu. Strong, confident and owns her sexuality. I wouldn't say shes over sexualized.. for a person thats suffering through amnesia, she knows who she is and owns it.
