This makes me so happy. Bayo 2 was the reason I purchased a Wii U day one. I've purchased all of these games multiple times across multiple consoles. Bayo 3 has been my most anticipated game since it was announced. To hear that it has been implemented so well actually makes me a tad emotional. I can't wait for this Friday.
Same I have Bayonetta on xb360, the 10th anniversary version on xb1, physical of 1 and 2 for switch, and got the collector's edition of 3 coming

Yeah mate, me too. My missus doesn't get it but knows its important to me so preordered it for me as my birthday is a few days after the release, bless her. Feeling quite emotional and excited, and I get to dock with a 60 inch oled telly! Gonna be incredible. Ok, I have to go lie down in a dark room now and compose myself. :-)

I loved playing with the katana in previous games, but it COMPLETELY changed Bayonetta's playstyle. Seems like they put all that into Viola's character, which sounds like a smart idea.
Aww gross. I main the swords for bayonetta and jean not this random character that can only use swords. Having weapons that completely change their playstyle is a good thing

I am hype for Bayonetta 3 on Friday
I'd rather not mention her. She did good work in the first games. She *badly* miscalculated the business side of it. She *badly* handled how to advocate for herself. And I'm sure Jennifer Hale did good work as she does. Bayonetta is apparently an excellent game, regardless, so it seems Taylor critically overestimated her importance to the series' future (despite being critical to its initial success.)
I want to leave that whole situation there...and ignore the game like I was gonna anyway, because Bayonetta actually released before Advance Wars and *why is no one talking about this.*

You can get both Bayo 1 and 2 on Switch for 60 bucks (total, not each)
It's really great, Bayo 1 unfortunately had alot of flaws. But bayo 2 fixed those flaws, adapted and evolved. It's just a really, really great series.
@@INRamos13 you can usually buy them physical cheaper. I got Bayo 2 cart with Bayo 1 download code for $30 at best buy
And yes I highly recommend the first 2. I'm typically an RPG player, but I love love love Bayonetta. If you enjoy this one definitely get the first 2. If you buy Bayonetta 2 physical it comes with download code for 1

It’s been a long and wild wait for this game, especially in the past week with the recent controversies behind Bayonetta’s former VA, but I can’t wait to finally pick it up and play it myself In only a few days. And these glowing reviews for it are making my excitement all the higher.👌🏽
Regardless of how good or bad Scarlet/Violet ends up, I think it’s now safe to say that 2022 is the second best year for Switch games ever. Kirby, Xenoblade, Splatoon, Bayonetta, Mario + Rabbids all had series best entries, and people seem to forget that Arceus is also a 2022 game, meaning that Pokémon already had one great game this year no matter what. Indies like Neon White and Shredder’s Revenge add even more icing to the cake. Yes, Strikers and Switch Sports sucked, and we didn’t get certain games we were expecting, but the majority of what we got is absolutely fantastic and the best showing since 2017.
100% agree except for Arceus which is laughable horsedung.
@@FelixS. Arceus is the most innovative pokemon game till date. They actually made catching pokemon more fun and rewarding. The new game ditches the catching mechanics. Pokemon is the only franchise that is still stuck in the 90s. It is very disappointing to see.

Ever since I played the first game a few years ago, it's been one of my favourite games that I have ever played. I bought it on multiple platforms and even got the platinum trophy for the PS3 version. Played 2 a few months later after realising it was on the Switch and for a long time have been waiting for this game to come out. Bayonetta 3 is my most anticipated game of 2022 and has been since before the year even came about and while i don't think I'll have a chance to play the game until around Christmas it is still a very good and exciting feeling to just know that it exists and the that it got 10/10 gives me lots to look forward to.

I'm still struggling to understand why everyone is saying the block takes some getting used to... it's mapped to the same button as dodge so wouldn't it be used the exact same reflex? Or is perhaps the timing tighter for block than dodge?

I'm glad to hear the game is good but I do have one question regarding the review: you didn't touch at all into the character customization. We saw before that you can change colors, outfits and even earring for Bayonetta. My question is: can you do the same for Viola and, can you have Bayo sporting her Bayonetta 1 and 2 looks? It's not a deal breaker by any means, but I'm not a huge fan of her design in this game and would rather play with her bayo 2 look if such option exists.
I got the standard and Masquerade edition coming this Friday, can’t wait to dive in!
I've always been a fan of Bayonetta since the original was released for XBox. I've been anticipating this game since the first teaser years ago, and to see that the wait has finally paid off AND has receuved such a high review rating makes me even more excited to play it.

I wasn't sold on the kaiju stuff but now that I know it's implemented well... awesome. It'll give the game its own identity, and I'll have reasons to play this and 2 over and over for different reasons.

Looks like the infernal demons add a lot of variety to Bayonetta's already massive arsenal. It makes her like a puppet character, similar to V from DMC 5, but without having that be her only means of attack.

So much of what he said about this game, especially the combat and the overall experience, reminds me of DMC5, which is very assuring.

I have this pre-ordered and I'm very excited for it. I've played the first one probably 20+ times, the second one I never got to play because of what Kamiya did so now that it's come back around I will finally get to play some more… Sans Bayonetta two.
I was hoping we would be surprised that the Trinity edition was also coming with the other two games since they're giving us covers for them… But that doesn't seem to be the case. I have Bayonetta one on PlayStation 3 & 4, was never able to get Bayonetta 2 because it went exclusive, and now that I have a Nintendo (almost a decade later) I chose to get it on there since its a portable console.
Looks good, I ran through Baynetta 2 a few months ago to prep for this new game, glad I did, it will be interesting how the old and new compair.

I think the first game was up there too if they just trimmed off the weird levels with the bad physics and did something about that music (I could not play Bayonetta 1 with the in-game music)

I'm still kinda pissed at the Lappy cameo in the early Bayonetta 3 teaser trailer. For those few milliseconds I was SO hyped for an Astral Chains sequel. Bayo is also a great series, and I'll definitely be buying bayo 3. I just like Astral Chains a bit more.

Astral Chain is going to be tough to beat. I can’t wait to play Bayonetta 3 on Friday! I bought a switch for Astral Chain and it was worth it because it became the best action game I’ve ever experienced! Plus owning a switch is worth it alone for having the best and most Platinum Games Action titles than any other system. Astral Chain, Nier Automata, The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta, Bayonetta 2, and now Bayonetta 3! I’m a platinum games fanatic. To me, Devil May Cry has been outcried. The new Bayonetta has got to be good after astral chain a single game became the action masterpiece! Boom!!

Yeah Madama Butterfly looks amazing fighting alongside Bayonetta, i can't wait to play this, these last 8 years were a long wait for sure, it's going to be worth it though, it's Platinum's flagship series :)

I would have liked more elaboration on weapon sets, as the way they're described here seems to be exactly as they function in Bayonetta 2.

I completed the game and I gotta say, I think the game has someone the highest highd in the franchise but I also think it has some really glaring flaws that really soured the experience for me. The main one being the ending.
I agree. The combat with Bayonetta was great, but everything else was a chore.
man this game looks amazing and im definitely buying day one, but my god those resolution drops are insane in the footage here. Im glad they didn't sacrifice FPS but still oof. Hopefully it'll be better for a replay on Switch Pro

Do you need to play the previous 2 games to understand the story?
There’s a 20 minute video that covers the events of the first two games so far. Even if you’ve played both of them, that’s a good recap video to watch before jumping into this one.
Theres a lot of multiverse shenanigans going on so probably. At least watch a CZcams video. Theres also a pretty badass movie called Bayonetta Bloody Fate that recaps the first games story.
