Just hit 12,000 miles on my RCR that I got back in November 2021. Enjoy it every ride but this news does suck for the ones who ordered and are in limbo.
That's fucking awesome. I would be close to 14,000 miles on mine...but my eucs the past two years...have eaten up thousands of miles. Have only had my new one 3 months and it is about to hit 1,000 miles.
15k miles on mine and still going strong, one of the best decisions I've made financially with the money I saved versus owning a car. Sad to see them go but the path was laid for this with James passing as he was the sole proprietor for Onyx.
Man...this is such a tragic event all around. The community remains strong and it's large enough that I think it could keep going to the few of us who have RCRs/CTYs, but dang. Who knows what the estate will do? Logic would suggest they try to find a buyer for the brand and its assets (and subsequently its debt) but that seems so unlikely to me.
Soooo..., I gotta say this makes me sad. I've really been enjoying my bike. I haven't ridden mine nearly as much as others have ridden theirs. But, now I'm hesitant to ride it. How am I supposed to maintain it with no Onyx to provide support?
RIP onyx and james! im at 8200 miles but nothing will stop me from riding!! Modding is now complete and my ride is way too fun now to stop!!!!!
EXACTLY! I'm going to ride and MOD mine FOREVER!!!

11k on mine. Favorite thing I ever got for myself. The community will endure, they may even become collectors items
Have wanted one for years. Never had the cash all at the right time. This actually hurts a little bit.
Yeah...sad times man
Just buy one on offer up lol.
@@michaelcampos351 best way to buy a bike with a broken controller lol

I have saved soo much money not having a car with this thing as well. Sad days. 😪

Sounds like a really big shit show atm. I really would hate to be the people that gave them money in the last 3 months.
@@AvCluB415 Yeah. I feel pretty grateful I got mine years ago.
