- Well it happened a little while ago. I finally found what would replace my SUV as a tow rig. I have gotten tired of pulling a trailer to always go get parts, toys, projects etc... This is a very clean truck and took a long while to find. I hope you like this video. If you can give it a thumbs up and subscribe. See ya on the next one. Oh and the reason it shines is it was treated with Torque Detail products.

Just bought one for under $10,000. Definitely gonna keep mine for a long time
You will love it. They have a few issues but are good trucks.
I bought a 1997 in Pennsalvania it is Awesome. It was a Maryland trunk with 250000 miles. I put a new engine in it when the crank snaped in half.Still Love the truck, just like a cadilac.LOVE my Chevy!!!
I realize I’m 2 years late, but I hope you mostly left it alone. This truck is gorgeous, and you almost never see them this clean anymore. That Suburban is nice as well, but I’m a fan of the steelies with the center caps that some of that generation came as opposed to any of the aluminum options, and those wheels on the Suburban look like they’re from a later GM truck or SUV.
I traded the truck for a 91 dodge ram w250 manual trans Cummins turbo diesel. I loved the truck but could not pass up on owning the truck that started the diesel trend.
@@NVSRides I get it. I’d rather have a first gen Cummins Ram, myself.
Some days I miss that Chevy but I love that ram truck. Anyways puts a smile on my face especially when towing.
Nice truck with lots of room, way more handy than an SUV, thanks for the tour !
Thanks for stopping by as always. Taking it this weekend to get some more parts. We will see how it does
Nice !
Wow your truck is Mint ! I just bought a 1998 ext. cab 2wd for a project ....congratulations on such a nice truck
Thanks so much. It was an amazing truck. You like yours.
Currently working on restoring one of these. Yours is sooo clean! I think I'll make your truck my benchmark, haha. Great find though!
That was a very clean truck. Best upgrade I did was led headlights. Check out that video of you would like. Thanks for the comment.
Great truck, I've been looking for an older Ford or Chevy, nice to see a low mileage one out there!
They are hard to find especially at a good price. You will find one.
I just got a 1998 from my grandpa, only had 50k miles on it, and is in great condition. These are very nice trucks!
These are very fun and reliable trucks for sure. Sounds like you got a great one.
Really clean! I have a 96 GMC Sierra. My interior is mint no tears no wear and no dents just needs paint.
These trucks are so hard to find with a nice interior. What color you going to paint it?
Beautiful truck
Thank you.
I have that same exact truck just a 96 and I love it !!
They are amazing trucks.
Beautiful truck man love its make more videos of your new truck
Thank you. I really appreciate it. I think you will see it again
Burning Rubber Garage nice truck man keep it coming
Man I need the Color code to this so bad my 1990 Silverado is in the body shop rn and is about to get painted please sir let me know what this code is you’d make my flipping day.
I wish I had the truck to just walk out and look at it. Sorry I traded it off a few years ago.
Nice truck Sir
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment.
I got a Z71 that's almost exactly like that one, just over 215K miles on it and I love it.
They are hard trucks to beat. They will run a long time if taken care of.
@@NVSRides i do plan on overhauling it in terms of maintenance since it's in rough shape since it was a rust belt truck so there is a lot of rust and was badly neglected. Luckily it is a very easy truck to work on with lots of OEM parts.
These trucks are some of the best trucks ever made. I am sure I am not the only one to think that.
I want to see the next video for this truck!
I'd want it in that color like the first one I drove ('88 model, had everything), green, or white.
I always wanted a clean white one or a white two tone. That dark green was always nice as well.
Nice
Thank you so much
I got my 97 with 99k miles for 8500
That is a great deal.
Yeah I bought mine 3 months ago for 3500 and the only problem was the clear coat
I don't know if I'll ever get rid of my 92 c1500. Only box it doesn't check off on my list is 4wd!
If it is clean and paid for I don't think I would either. I did trade mine. Some days I regret that
Got a 91 5.7 k1500 for 450$ been sitting. half hour of work cleaning the tbi and throwing the battery on charge and changing the fuel pump and after 2 years sitting it started right up. In the process of going through the top end and doing seals and everything. My first 350 truck and I love how easy it seems to be so far to work on one of these. Any tips on taking care of any common problem areas to get them out of the way? Anything specific I should look for? Like the videos man and nice truck!
Sounds like you are well on your way to a great daily driver. Great job on getting it going after so long. Keep me posted on how things go.
Mine had air vents in the back on the bottom of the center console.
Lucky
I had a 97 z71 I sold it and now I regret selling it had blown head gasket and bent fram but a clean title
They are very hard to come by. They are getting expensive as well
@@NVSRides i got a hold of two 3500 one extended cab and one crew but the crew cab is only cab and rolling chassis i love these trucks i have 2 Square body's too all eight lugs they all related
Sounds like you have some very sweet trucks. My first truck was a squarebody.
Stock ride height? Looks great man, can’t wait to get my 94 c1500 lookin that clean, also what size tire?
Thank you! Stock ride height and stock rims. I believe that are a 265 75 16 tires.
Burning Rubber Garage awesome!!!!
