I guess In Russia is just something they do. Old people do it to they will touch your hair or your face and give you a compliment and it doesn't bother me much but I guess it's just normal

In Canada when 2 people bump into each other the person who bumped into you says sorry, you say sorry for being in their way, then someone across the street says sorry for not warning the person that they were about to get bumped into lol

Well dear .. once I bumped into this young student girl and my bag hit her arm hard. I stopped to say sorry but she didn't even bother to look back while rubbing her arm vigorously. It is just in our culture..no offence intended.

No, they just don't really have a concept about personal space. Or the young people are walking staring at their phones and don't look where they're going. As for the old people, they kinda feel like wherever they're walking people should be the ones moving out of their way. So if you don't move they'll bump right into you.

i feel mainlander chinese are like that too.. i was in an empty bbt cafe and this horde of guys just squashed me qhile "lining up"...like..why r u this close..the place is empty..da fuq.. i was really uncomfortable and if the guys hands ended up touching something..ya big slap in the face. no concept of space and some no concept of lining up..but the bumping into people...i hate when that happens in canada and people dont say sorry..so i think i would go insane in korea..i need shoulder pads. actually it was the same in japan..no one says sorry. which kinda shocked me
Us koreans never pay attention when it comes to walking, my husband came home last week with a red cheek because he bumped into a foreigner and he slapped him 😟😂
Having visited Korea a few times I couldn't help but laugh, because everything they touched was very true, especially the drinking in public, the cars, and that one guy jumping XD

You know what would be sick; see if you can get some black people to help with your interview. Ask Koreans what they think about black people; to get their honest opinion, then, cue the black guys to come out and see if what they think is just 'cause of what they see on TV. They can respond to some of the stuff that was said or ask questions ;) I think that would be interesting.

There's nothing good about it. Lots of Koreans have ignorant and racist views about black people, and you expect a black person to just listen to someone say ignorant things about them and then come out all nice, friendly and un intimidating to try and "educate some Koreans". I'm not saying all Koreans are racist but I don't understand why the emotions of some black people need to be expended in order to get people to see how ignorant their views are.

Im actually an exchange student in Busan right now. Im a lightskined girl (mixed black and white) and i have never felt any prejudice. I actually get called pretty everyday. Even by old ladies just walking down the street. My classmates call me cute way too often. Thats my only culture shock since i got here
