That was just Ezra who went through the portal. He was in the scout trooper armor.
To be clear, it's not exactly true to say that Ahsoka is the daughter. It would be more accurate to say that some of the daughter's essence lives on in Ahsoka, and so the daughter's Convor (the owl creature), which may be another part of the daughter, or what remains of her, always goes where Ahsoka goes.
This is something we know very little about, but maybe the Ahsoka series will show us some more. Also, no troopers made it through the gateway, only Ezra in his scout trooper disguise.
The next episode after this one might just be my favourite of the whole show!

Oh, Kanan... even in his death he's supporting Hera... The Loth Wolves moving and then forming the portal is amazing, same with the Mortis gods starting the process... now to the most amazing of all episodes

There are so importent to existence of force sentitive people and whole races.

And you are right those wolfs are sure full of suprises! After Bendu Star wars revels really expendad on some of the more mysterious lore of the force which is sooo great!
And about Ashoka being the daughter, i always saw it more like she was touched by the Daughter's force energy but she is not a goddes

Ahsoka is not the Daughter. Neither is the bird. That needs to be made clear.
She isn't. The Convor is the Daughters avatar. However, Ahsoka holds the Daughters life force.

@@TammyGordin We're talking full on Lovecraftian horror here. A being who has essentially destroyed herself, with an unnatural smile that LITERALLY goes from ear to ear, shapeshifting abilities, and insane force powers. She destroys people's minds, forcing them to rely on her to survive. The maw, the largest black hole cluster in the galaxy, was created JUST to keep her imprisoned, and even during that imprisonment she forms a cult of "mind-walkers" from afar on sinkhole station. When the Jedi were just babies, she touched their minds, giving them something called "force psychosis". This could be activated at will and made every Jedi think everyone around them was an imposter, leading them to become violent, dangerous, and service of her.
Maybe that was too long, but we are talking about the most dangerous and most horrifying creature in the galaxy's history. Luke's Jedi Order, at the height of their power, joined forces with the Sith (For like 2 seconds, before their alliance fell apart, but still) in order to defeat her.

I don't know why any form of Ahsoka was supposed to be depicted in ancient paintings that must have been made thousands of years before her birth. You're theorizing a little too much. They're just paintings of the Mortis Gods.
The daughter is not Ahsoka. She is the personification of the light side of the force. She gave the last of her strength to revive Ahsoka. This does not mean that Tano is now personification of the light side and any form referring to the daughter is a reference to Ahsoka.
The owl is also not Ahsoka. Even in The Clone Wars you can see that owl next to the daughter and Ahsoka. After the death of daughter, Ahsoka "adopted" this owl. Possibly because the owl senses some of daughter's strength in Tano.
