wowow i LOVE the loth wolves!!!!
Just you wait. Lots of awesome Loth Wolf action to come. They are amazing creatures!
Those words from the Loth-Wolf are more unnerving and ominous without subtitles, because you think it says "doom...", like some kind of grim warning for the future to come. Only to be revealed later on, that what it really said was a signficant name it knew, rather than a concept. Still gives me chills to this day.
Rewatching rebels again and seeing Emme's reaction to what remains has me hyped for what is to come!
6:29 this scene is a nod to a scene from movie "Patton" (1970) about General George Patton in the WWII. There's a similar scene where Patton stands in the middle of the road and fires at a German planes that attack his men in the same way Tie's defender did to Thrawn.
The scene where the Joker shoots at the Batwing in Batman 89 is also inspired by that scene in Patton.
your question at 2:51: Yes, we do know him from season 3 where Sabine recruited Wedge and the other TIE pilots for the rebellion
Dave Filoni actually voiced one of the stormtroopers that were shooting and chasing after the Loth Cats.
That I did not know
Loth Wolves are one of the coolest things ever added to Star Wars.
From this point on the show kind of becomes a Lovecraft story. I jokingly call it "The Dume that came to Lothal"
Dume is very significant. No spoilers. 😉
She's already seen the Bad batch before this so she might know..
@@jeevithjerry6179 she might, but she didn't. It's one of those small details she forgets about, as many of us do.
Putting voice acting aside, would anyone be able to connect it to Bad Batch until it is revealed in Rebels? We just saw Rebels first.
Wasn’t it already mentioned by maul In season 3?
Can’t recall, worth looking into.
Dume... You will see more of the wolves. All paths are coming together. And it will be heart breakingly, glorious.
I love Rebels as arguably my favorite Star War (tied with Visions) for 2 reasons. 1) the Ghost Crew are punk af 2) the mystical bond between Ezra and the animals of Lothal. The force connects all living things
Filoni loves wolves which is why Rex wears one on his mask and they had Loth Wolves and yeah they are very special. Love them.
You mean his jaig eyes?
10:31 heh, cute little detail I never noticed before - the Loth cat's ears twitch and then the Loth wolf's ears do the same exact twitch
Rebels STARTS to get beautiful, moving and mystical.
TIE Defender Thrawn's real hardware trump card against the Rebels, a TIE version of the X-Wing basically. Would have been more useful that the dispendious and useless Death Star it you ask me...
Also admire Thrawn his General Patton moment on the tarmac while the TIE flies over him.
Oh yes Emme, Thrawns knows when he faces someone competent, he likes competent and skilled adversaries to be honest.
Ezra has a Force connection with Lothal animals such as cats and wolves. The big spirit wolf is a call back to Princess Mononoke I think as well as Native Americans Indians mythology.
Great reaction! And we're getting more Loth-wolves from now on
Loth Wolves so ominous
She's in for a treat boys
You’re damn skippy on that one
The next episodes are insane. Can't wait for the reaction!
Mainly episodes 10, 12 and 13, the first is sad, and the others are exciting for the discovering
Long live the empire!
You say BB. You know what Dume is. Our connection was the New Dawn novel. A prequel to Rebels. Very special wolf.
no spoilers pls
Thanks, Emme! 🐺 #EmmeReacts #StarWars #StarWarsRebels
The Loth-Wolves are a Princess Mononoke reference.
Emme, will you be putting up all of this season on your main channel? Don’t want to give anything away but very keen to see your reactions to this season!
If you have time you should read the Thrawn canon novel books you would have a different take on him and not hate him as much lol
Canon Thrawn is so much more interesting than Legends Thrawn for that reason.
There are 6 books though. It's a chunky amount of reading.
2 more episodes until well you guys might know
Dume
I absolutely hate how this and pretty much all the Star Wars shows except andor make the empire and stormtroopers absolutely stupid it’s a wonder they took over the galaxy at all
Agreed, which I guess is supposed to be a way to make a Rebellion against an Empire that has seemingly infinite resources more possible, especially since in many situations, its granted that many troopers are going to be present so there has to be a way for small groups of people to take an entire army.
Though, the idea I like to think, is since it's hinted that the troopers are the former clone army, and that most troopers are still clones before the use of the Imperial Academies, maybe the clones got lazy or abused their power frequently, which could be something that caused their many faults and loss of personality over the years, while some people, like Rex and Boba Fett, embraced their personalities which differentiated them from standard clones.
In all reality, its probably just for comedic purposes and capable escapes lol
@@WhiteTiger93 ?
They took over because they were barely challenged
@@jacktheflash8478 I think you know that’s not true
