5 Sprinters all inside a meter of each other. This was an amazing race. Well Done Tebogo being the 1st African to ever medal here. And it’s for Silver. At 20 Years Old! Incredible 💯🔥
First African?? Frankie Frederick's Namibia??
Fredericks medalled silver twice in Olympics 100m, but never in World Championships 100m
Superstar in the manking! 👏🏼
The 200m is also coming, considering he ran 19.50s at the Diamond League Meet a few weeks ago, he's gonna give Lyles a run for his money again.
Next year's Olympics are gonna be interesting. If he continues to improve, Tebogo will smoke them next year. He could potentially be an Olympic champ at 21.
@@ambessaseway5594nah if I’m not mistaken this is the 1st time the nation picked up a medal at worlds
@@ofentsekgarume6639100%, just needs to add some muscle then unstoppable.
This shows how good was Bolt. Not only him, but all his era (Blake, Gay, Gatlin, etc)
It was also easier to be roided back then.
Lol 😂..
You are pained and a hater.
Just a simple word like congratulations 🎊 will heal you.

@@StarryNightGazingThe same
@StarryNightGazing not at all. They were heavily tested after 2004!!! In fact it was harder, because they were taking blood samples if I'm not mistaken. They were popping them left and right, Asafa, Gay and Blake all tested positive. I think Blake was cleared.
Tebogo impressed me the most. That guy is outstanding; congratulations to you Noah
😂😂 then you should stop watching track if what Noah Lyles just did is not god mode

@darkenergy361 don't misrepresent me; Noah Lyles is my favorite but what Tebogo did today is a mode with a difference. This guy is barely a year on the stage, and he is already a great competitor with the best.
You can hear how happy Rob Walker is for Noah. These commentators always try to be neutral, but they also have favorites like we do.
Of course it's normal in every country for commentators to have there favorite and it usually their own country men

and hes not on roids
So happy for Zharnel, just 0.05s away from Gold, needs to keep working on that first 40m. Sad that Simbine false started in the semi :(
And Fred was .18 away from gold oh wait he won gold last year 🤤
Ye man ,he's fulfilling his potential. I'd love to see 150m added into championship sprinting I reckon that would be the best distance for him

Noah lyles broke the junior 100m champion curse (No other junior 100m winner has been able to even win major championship medal ).
Edit Tebogo broke it too.
Actually, Andre Cason, Ato Boldon, Darrel Brown won the World Junior 100m title and medaled Silver or Bronze for the Sr. Title. Noah is the 1st man to win both a world junior & senior 100m titles.
@@BDQ1975 oh sry I didn't knew that.

We'll be the ones sitting on the couch and eating ice cream, enjoying the race 😅
Great win by Noah, and congrats to the other medallists. Seeing these times, though, reminds you of how far ahead of everyone else Bolt was.
Usain Bolt the 🐐
Bolt, Gay and Blake in their prime were in a league of their own
@@emilstorgaard9642Gatlin Powell
@@emilstorgaard9642Yes, they were. Now, the 100mW is more interesting for me. Hopefully, the mens get better in the years to come. Imagine Gay ran 9.71 in 2009 and came second. They were really in the prime of their craft. But Congrats to the winners nonetheless.
@@emilstorgaard9642don't forget Powell. Not the best championship performer (tho he did get bronze with 9.84 in that WR race in Berlin), but he definitely made his mark as a regular 9.7 sprinter

Congratulations Noah. But, it’s crazy to think Usain ran 9.85 at a jog in the Beijing Olympics preliminaries and that’s just about the fastest time during this world championships with guys going all out. I’m still excited to see how the 2024 Olympics will play out.
Bolt's 200 m record will probably fall first idk how long it will take for someone to go under 9.58 in 100 like it's just superhuman
That's true but consider this, in the history of the men's 100m (Olympics and Worlds) there is only 9 winners that has ran faster then Lyles. Out of the 9 winners, it was only 3 men to run faster to win a championship finals
1999 Worlds: Maurice Greene (9.80)
2001 Worlds: Maurice Greene (9.82)
2008 Olympics: Usain Bolt (9.69)
2009 Worlds: Usain Bolt (9.58)
2012 Olympics: Usain Bolt (9.63)
2013 Worlds: Usain Bolt (9.77)
2015 Worlds: Usain Bolt (9.79)
2016 Olympics: Usain Bolt (9.81)
2021 Olympics: Lamont Marcel Jacobs (9.80)
@@aggelosmanolis5689 maybe Knighton?
@@BDQ1975 I totally get that. I’m just hoping to see something great again. Or to be super excited to see a race again.
@@majkollalo obviously your reading comprehension is very poor. I said winning times. I know that both Berlin Worlds 09 and London Olympics 12 were faster overall with the Tyson running 9.71, with Blake and Gatlin running 9.75 and 9.79. I wasn’t talking about them, I was talking for each winning times there was only 9 championships winners that was faster then Lyles. Only the London Olympics is the only race Lyles wouldn’t have medaled in.
Noah, with a smile on his face even right in the middle of the race where he wasn't winning yet. I love this guy. He's definitely got faster times in him too, as this didn't actually look the strongest I've seen him finish in the 100m.
The reason it didn't look as strong of a finish is because Lyles was running against fast finishers, not like running against Coleman.
In this 9.83s performance, Lyles clocked 3.38s for the final 40 m, which is just 0.01s slower than his PB for that distance. So, it was a strong finish, as strong as Lyles can get.
@@Yes_I_c4n, cheers man for the info and the data. In that case, absolutely awesome effort from Lyles then! Can't wait to see him over the 200m next!
@@scottrichardson7838 yep, he's looking good for the 200m.
@@Yes_I_c4n Tebogo is going to give him a decent push, however. His final 20m in that 100m was just as impressive as Lyles'.

With 9.79 at the 2012 London Olympics, Gatlin only managed a bronze. That's how great Bolt was. 9.83 was a jog in the park for him.
I agree👍 I think big names like Bolt, Gatlin, Asafa, etc. are missing in the current sprint.
9.80 got 4th tyson gay
Congratulations Noah!🖤🖤🖤
It's incredible how we step back to 80's...9.83. Bolt untouchable yet!!!!!
No one touching bolt's records for atleast 100 years , Bolt was hand picked by the heavens to be the fastest and not just his performance but his personality will never be surpassed
@@tawchaentertainment1488 Some little kid will be blessed with the ability to beat Bolt's time but won't realise that potential and will probably just play video games.
