@@minimumt3n204 you are not wrong, i have read the same. heartland shall be 10x10 kilometre. The whole continent is 2016km^2.
@@dj-jojosan I'm sure I read or heard somewhere that you can build elsewhere but it will obviously be dangerous and risk bandit players, cant remember where I heard that but I could also be wrong. Would be cool to have a bandit camp/settlement in the dark forest for PVP shenanigans :P

I remember seeing this on the horizon and wasn't too sure if the reveal trailer was that of gameplay or for the looks. But seeing it now, through how much is done. I'm impressed. I'm more so sold on the farming idea aspect. Like imagine raising horses or animals in a fully fledged farm.

By watching others videos about this game...i can guarantee you that you have created the BEST medieval game. There is not doubt about it ! It really feels like we're back in the middle-ages !! There isn't a single other medieval game that feels better than Pax Dei ! Don't you dare stop working on it even after full release ! Wow! I might just try out my first MMO with Pax Dei.
Looks really cool, I am excited to be able to play this game. My only concern about free form construction in MMO games is because sometimes this breaks the immersion, players tends to create they stuff to be only functional and they dont mind at all if it will break other players immersion.

This MMORPG seems to be the closest to Ultima Online, a game that I have loved the best and haven't found anything close to it yet.

My dream for a MMO has been always having the feeling of SAO, where you can chill around, making friends, sims like, having guilds, minecraft construction, making a life...lol.

You mention that we will need to claim plots, will this be Archeage's land system where certain people will grab all the land and just hold it for sale against other players? Or will there be enough plots/servers to accommodate everyone who wants a plot?
Have you guys thought about (could be something added much later) building blueprints? Kind of a layout provided ahead of time so that players can minimize costs when building and possible mistakes?
Players could also use these as presets when they're finally ready to build as well. Such as needing to remain in a specific amount of space- Such as if a player bought an acre of land, where to put their building and make use of space.
Looks good otherwise! Also don't be afraid to model actual stairs rather than invisible ramps.
I think that will also be a part of the experience that you learn out of your mistakes👍

The problem with player built structures is that its gonna end up being a bunch of square boxes... i would love it if it ended up like in the video but player build and managed games always end up bad. Still im hyped to see further development

Just to add more RPG suspect to the game and something to be truly relaxing after another day of hard work to become a casual builder or woodchopper from medieval ages just to admire surroundings and sounds and company of good people you are playing with
something like this would instantly kill me out of delight, because game and it's idea looks very cool
This reminds me greatly of Conan Exiles building.
I was hoping for a proper open world building like in Star Wars Galaxies or the upcoming 2122 Star Citizen... its insane how far ahead of its time SWG was still.
so are we going to have to fight for prime building locations? Or can I build my house in a haunted forest so no one bothers me :)
