It pains me to hear you describe yourself as unemployable. Your research, storytelling, production and editing are amazing. You are extraordinarily talented and it shows. I wish I had you on my team - but I can't afford to hire anyone at the moment. You worked in radio, if they had moved you into special projects, with a schedule that could be flexible around your health, you would have produced great value for your employer, as you are for the viewers of Foxes Afloat. What is missing is employers who are willing to make the job fit the talents, abilities and needs of the employee, instead of insisting that the person fit the job. My office has been accommodating the needs of a valued colleague with physical health problems, that result in her needing days off without notice, unusual work schedules, at times reduced hours around her pain and medical appointments. It has been so worth it to have her talents on our team. We need to work on employers attitudes. This year has opened the eyes of a lot of employers on accommodating health needs. We need to push that envelope.

Great vlog, professional standard. Chichester canal has a couple boats with ramps and lifts in order that disabled persons can take short sightseeing trips. Buy that poor dog an outside blanket, he’ll get callouses on his elbows otherwise ! Regards AJ

Holy cow! Otis has really grown. It's good to see you guys and Otis again. I guess I can quit harassing you about seeing Otis now. I love that you all are looking for a canal experience for your friend. It's awesome! I worked with people with developmental disabilities for 15 years. It's fantastic that you are showing that this is available for people. What a wonderful program! Thank you guys for sharing, including Otis, and your information on the boating services for those with disabilities. I think you're even more wonderful now. Leather huh..................😜

What a wonderful company , Waterways Experience. Thank you so much for promoting this voluntary organisation , and also great to see you both so relaxed 😌. And wonderful little Otis , who is coming along beautifully I well recall the Ovaltine factory, we used travel to Stockport by train from Euston , my dad was an engine driver so we got free travel . There were literally acres of chicken feeding lots all white chickens ! I loved Ovaltine !!and the radio program for Little Girls and Boys . And again for making another Saturday morning happy 😃 Keep up the good work !

I reckon a ramp should be standard on all narrowboats. Glad to see a return of the more relaxed vibe now you’re away from London, and Otis is growing up into such a beautiful boy too :) reckon a mug of ovaltine is needed this evening to be enjoyed in front of the warm glow of the wood burner 😊🐾
