Asus vivobook S16 has a serius problem of getting hang with external usb ssd.
I plug the same ext ssd in 2 other different laptops running latest Windows 11, no issue. Even run chkdsk on the ext ssd shows no issue. Even updating the Asus bios did nothing to prevent the ssd from getting hung after 1-2 mins of plugging in.

Ultra 7 slight better battery life, but performance wise, 8845hs is slight better then ultra 7

Please don't buy anything from asus. Their quality is getting worse.

Correct that is Asus’s serious problem. Very bad quality control and questionable RMA service.
Yeah I won’t give Asus my Money.

@@ferrapesi lenovo, dell, hp. At least they will not blame you for warranty voided of nonsense (hairline scratch) instead deal & solve faulty hardware parts.

@sem I would say Dell if you want the best reliability and RMA service.

Depends by the country. In my country ASUS has the best support overall. So yeah I don't know what is happening in US/Canada, but ASUS is not present only there.
