I really thought that the "Starring" section would include "Bad Parenting" considering that one dad doesn't know his daughter traveled from Florida to Hong Kong to wind up in a monster battle testing arena, and one mom apparently thinks that it is totally fine to take her adopted eight-year-old daughter on what is probably literally the most dangerous mission ever.

Even if they had wanted the girl to keep Kong calm down in Hollow Earth, there was no way for her to do that while she was still inside that little ship, but her leaving the ship would be even more absurdly dangerous. Once they got to the base, they could have left the girl in the care of responsible adults at the Arctic research base, and just had the adults follow Kong down into Hollow Earth on the most dangerous mission humans have ever undertaken.

Or like a reverse of that scientist guy in that instead of wanting them to fight to balance nature. He just got off on them fighting. That could have maybe worked.

Simultaneous release on streaming services means that we'll be getting these trailers quicker. To be honest, I'm not keen on that. Part of the thrill of waiting for the Honest trailer was signalling when the Home release is, which means that a movie would have a continued life after "theatre release" COVID really screwed up everything.
To be fair, that's what they were going for in the Lion King live adaptation. Animals don't really have much in the way of facial expressions. Realistic looking animals would actually look creepy with human like emotions.
Unfortunately, the destruction of Hong Kong in this movie was fictional, whereas China destroyed Hong Kong in real life. Huge props for that joke, though.

I loved how people were just eating at a high rise restaurant while Godzilla was toddling around the city, and only freak out and flee once the fight with Kong starts... and then the building is destroyed
They said that they called an evacuation and I assume every major city has had protocols and trying in place sense this became normal. I guess those people were just feeling suicidal (or the movie wanted people running away and dying in the background and didn’t care if it made sense).

They literally could've just given the conspiracy podcast guy his own time, trimmed that whole subplot down, and you wouldn't beable to tell the difference. I can't imagine who wasn't way more focused on "ok what's in here?" along with "ok that's not good" and the one-dimensional boss and asian son of we aren't going to even remind you a little talking about if they should activate without running some tests frist. CLICHE lines were better than that useless extra duo. Seriously the kong characters at least don't feel like filler 99% of the time, and most are far superior.

@Katie Lewis I'd argue they never should have had the conspiracy theorist in the first place - just because I found the character annoying AF and from what I've seen, what his group were able to do is ridiculous. Oh and he's annoying - because of things like I'm willing to bet he was saying this'll be my last one for half his videos or how he was able to to backing by annoying someone to go away. In terms of January 6th, I'm not sure re-shoots could have worked (time between that and release) - and the idea didn't pop into my head (probably because he never should have been there in the first place).

I never really liked Maddie character since her appearance in King of Monsters. Thank god her father didn't appear a lot in this movie. She and her father definitely most annoying character in Monsterverse
Why not simply create a giant robot that is powered by humans (like a Megazord), so they can be part of the action

Also instead of joining the rest of the group, Super Hero Taisen had a second Kamen Rider become the bigger bad because he was pissed his main rider didn't tell him the plan to deal with the combined forces of Zangyak (the Gokaiger villains) and Shocker (long running Kamen Rider villains from the first show that keep appearing in crossovers) (that was his entire motivation because Shirakura suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks See Also: What the hell is Narutaki's entire deal and does he hate Shocker for turning him into Zol or not?).

Yes, I had the same thought while watching the movie. That was funny.
They said that they called an evacuation and I assume every major city has had protocols and trying in place sense this became normal. I guess those people were just feeling suicidal (or the movie wanted people running away and dying in the background and didn’t care if it made sense).

Also, Millie is totally useless on this movie and just there to say "No, Godzilla supposed to be our friend!" Or listening to Podcast and meet the Podcast dude and she stupidly standing near Giant Skull Crawler instead of running.
They literally could've just given the conspiracy podcast guy his own time, trimmed that whole subplot down, and you wouldn't beable to tell the difference. I can't imagine who wasn't way more focused on "ok what's in here?" along with "ok that's not good" and the one-dimensional boss and asian son of we aren't going to even remind you a little talking about if they should activate without running some tests frist. CLICHE lines were better than that useless extra duo.
Seriously the kong characters at least don't feel like filler 99% of the time, and most are far superior.
I believe they had Stranger Things Girl signed to a 2 movie deal, so they had to come up with something for her to do.

It's good to know I wasn't the only person to hate the podcaster conspiracy theorist (he was the reason I gave up on the movie).
@Katie Lewis I'd argue they never should have had the conspiracy theorist in the first place - just because I found the character annoying AF and from what I've seen, what his group were able to do is ridiculous. Oh and he's annoying - because of things like I'm willing to bet he was saying this'll be my last one for half his videos or how he was able to to backing by annoying someone to go away.
In terms of January 6th, I'm not sure re-shoots could have worked (time between that and release) - and the idea didn't pop into my head (probably because he never should have been there in the first place).

Cool image. Terrible physics. That ship only has enough buoyancy and structure to support itself. Godzilla would shred it to pieces by trying to stand on it. And Kong would practically fall through it when he lands on it. Never mind BOTH of these giant creatures fighting on top of it and it holding together. I can't roll my eyes hard enough at the physics.
Tbh the original Kong was suprisingly easy to kill.
