I got this lens specifically for Real Estate and Architecture and so far it's doing the job!
Awesome!
Hello! And what about real estate videography? Does it has good bokeh when focusing with foreground objects? Thanks!
@@alono4473 unfortunately with the Aperture range you’re going to have to be pushing the iso a lot. If you’re not worried about that than it might be decent. Unfortunately I didn’t try video walkthroughs with the lens
@@alono4473 haven't made a video with it yet. With real estate my fstop is f/8, so I can't say it has much bokeh; I know at f/4 it has some.
@@wisdomcb is this lens still your go to for Real Estate? Looking at this or the 24mm. tks!
thanks for the creating this! only review I've found that included a variety of real world examples!
You’re most welcome! 🙌🏻
Thanks for the review. I returned mine because I already have the RF16mm and 35 for my R8 and didn't see the justification of keeping it. I also have the RF24-240 to cover the wide ranges.
Understandable
excellent video that clarifies many questions about this optics! I own an Eos R5 and I take landscape photos and I would use it from 16 to 24 mm because then I have other L series lenses supplied, using it in a focal range between 16 and 24 mm with apertures that always go between f8 and f13 maximum me would you recommend it for image quality on a dense sensor like the one on the R5?? Thanks and congratulations for the video.
I think it’s a solid choice for landscape and stopping it down around f/11-f/14 should still get you some great results!
Hi, do u think it is a good lens for EOS R50? Thank u!
Yeah absolutely just something to keep in mind is the R50 is a crop sensor camera so the focal range is going to be something around 24-50
Im using r50 too
... and on a R6? - only for the ocasional wide angle real estate shot...
I think that should work, I believe the results would be similar on my R5 although I have not owned or used the EOS R6
