Mr. Bob Myers. Good review of this lens. I’m with You on why Canon does some of thses things. The lack of a supplied hood, and a pouch/case, is ridiculous. Many YT reviewers have commented on this in addition to yourself. And to add “insult to injury,” the prices Canon asks for some of these hoods!
