I seen in one of your video's that you recently listened to the book "Fiber fueled", have you considered going plant based to see if it will help with your training ? We'd love to see a video titled "The Bare going plant-based" maybe try for a week or a month? 😄 Just a thought..
Nick you inspire me so much I've lost 50 pounds and just completed my half a marathon
I see you hommie
I'm down 40 pounds since early this year. Nick been helping me along the whole time. I'm so proud of you broski!! Keep it up!
Respect! I lost 70 and did a half marathon as well! Going for half ironman now
@@trevormost2103 do losing that much weight help with high blood pressure? because i am 5 foot 8 and weight 300lbs...looking to get my blood pressure under control..i lift weights but finding out i was 300lbs after going to the doctor was weird b
@@johaunallen2309 Yes improving your weight through exercise and good nutrition does improve high blood pressure. Talk to your Dr about a referral to a nutritionist to get you started. Exercise can be walking and resistance bands to start.
Nick Bare just taught us how to poop. This guy does everything
Poop like the bare baby
As someone coming from a strength training, power lifting background and have gotten into endurance running the last few years I'm so glad to have found your channel and see what you accomplish while maintaining your physique. Love the motivation and high quality editing
Same!
He runs 10+ miles a day and retains a suspect amount of muscle mass in doing so 💊
Love the guy but also 👀
@@byroncary2334 wait the super jacked guy that can also run a sub 3 hour marathon is juicing?? Who can you trust these days 🙄
He's still out there doing it and sharing it to motivate others
I still use the bunny ears....at 43 I still haven't graduated to becoming an adult yet. Thanks for the inspiration.
bunny ears till the day I die
Me too buddy
Always bunny ears
Me too!
I notice how consistent he is in every video with his routine (warm-up, workout, nutrition, etc.). I'll watch the videos to reassure and motivate myself to stay consistent with my routines. #GoOneMore
Consistency is definitely key! Last April when the gyms shut down due to Covid, I started getting into running. I started off slow but stayed consistent & added more & more distance each week. Last Sunday, I ran 8 miles, which I never would have imagined. I was never a runner before either. Consistency baby!!!
Hey Nic - with all this running 🏃♀️. would love to see an insight to your stretching and injury prevention routines…. What’s your pre warm up and cool downs.. etc. (loving your channel 🇦🇺)
Oooohhh me too! That would be a great idea! Seth James Demoor has a fantastic 40 minute video showing a really good stretching and injury prevention routine. (not pulling away from Nick but that is a great template if anyone needs it)
Same. I've had far too many overuse injuries lol (flat feet)
I agree I would love to see that!
Forgot how much I needed to hear the consistency talk.
I slide off into un focus and it’s always 100% because of lack of consistency in some important area of my life. Food, relationship, fitness, study, sleep etc some vital thing.
Thanks for your reinforcement brother !
Just wanted to say I love your channel and content. You have inspired me to keep up with my endurance training since leaving the Army, and just ran my 2 mile PR yesterday!
The #2 position advice is gold!! Spitting facts there Nick.
Always look forward to each and every video from Nick and the BPN team!!! Another great video with some great points made! Consistency is key!
Mr. Bare here's a pro tip about grilling corn ( you probably already know ) but I will share anyway . Soak the corn (husk and all) in salt water for at least 2-3 hours then throw on the grill (husk and all) the silk comes off sooo much easier and it is fire !!!!!!!!! love the products btw. been using them now for about 4 months .
I've tried this method and wasn't a fan, but I didn't salt the water that might be why! I love to shuck the corn, use a good amount of garlic butter, onion salt or powder and garlic powder. Wrap in 2 layers of tinfoil, 4 mins a side (16min) on the grill.
Thanks for the message Nick!! It came at a perfect time
Nice one Nick - needed the reminder on consistency as starter day 1 of my back to Ironman Training today and your ms was the video I watched for that first 30min turbo session 💪
You are insane, so amazing and inspiring, thank you for being an anchor to all of us.
This is exactly what I needed today to stay disciplined for my track workout I really don’t want to do
lets go!!
Every time i watch your videos I’m motivated to go out for runs as well. Then I’m getting hungry when you make them gorgeous looking tacos!! Also thanks for sharing the Leadville 100 documentary. Incredibly inspiring! I’m a runner as well and got today my first trail running shoes to hit the trails here in the Italian dolomites. Incredible place for Trail running. Check out the Lavaredo Ultra Trail. Might be something interesting for you with the most epic landscape.
Thanks dude. Great video, great content, great advice. Best wishes.
Bunny ear guy myself!
I just started watching you videos, got me motivated to sign up for my first marathon this spring!
“So much flavor it touch ya soul baby!!! “ Tacos looked so good and love the message of consistency definitely going to meditate on it. Brother thank you for doing what you do.
Thanks bro..you are my hero much love from here Melbourne Australia.GB
Nick bare I love this guy he made me a gym addict so Grateful Saturday o ran 21km followed straight into a 107km mtb bike ride
You're a machine! Great motivation!
Let’s go!! Just in time for this cardio sesh!
DAMN! YOU ARE SUCH AN INSPIRATION TO ME NICK! LOVE YOUR ADVICE ON CONSISTENCY!
One of your best videos yet! UK
Great video and information 🤩👊🏻
Thanks!
Nice ! Squatty Potty is crucial. I’ve been using those for years. Those strips look delicious. Ngl
I can barely take 1 pill without choking, and this man is over here doing 8 at a time. #GoOneMore
Just finished my hardest prep-week with over 80 miles. It all starts with just going out and starting with a 5k and some years later, you're there
Right on man thats big mileage 🍻
I am so glad he proves that natural athletes can achieve such great things. Thanks man
I have received so much flack in my life because I use the bunny ears. The pure joy you just gave me that you use bunny years...priceless
The music in this one is an absolute vibe
The only video out there that teaches you how to take a shit properly hahah ! love your work man!
I agree nick! Be careful though because when consistency happens you can get minor injuries here and there that need to be treated. Don't push through everytime because that is how I got plantar fascitis and that shit hurt so bad
Thankfully my number 2's are already optimised 😂 Consistency is key, great topic Nick!
Thank you nick bare big Brother Bear your videos are true inspiring I look forward to them all the time consistency compounds consistency of that right compounds he who has why can be almost any how discipline is everything thank you keep up the amazing work.😁👍🏽🙌🏼💯
You're home is beautiful mate 🤩👌 One of my life goals is to have such a nice house + garden! Much rather invest in my home than cars, watches etc...
One step at a time -go one more! Thanks for the motivation :)
Smart move
I use the berluti knot. Never comes untied, laces lay flat, and quick release. You will never tie your shoes another way when you try it
0:20 exact same shoes that I have in my shoe racks for my tempo, intervals and slow runs ! Noosa Tri 13 and Endorphin Speed
Yup consistency is key, with all aspects in life really. No huge extremes then major deficits or major overloads...just progressive, steady consistency. Say it again my man, say it again🤘🏼
Even though he is massively on the gear and probably gets trolled with it every day.... He still puts in that effort
Take it from someone who works at a running shoe store, the bunny loop method is easily the best! But I see about half and half!
Fark me 🤣 best start to a vid so far! I’m a bunny ears man, mainly due to circulation problems I have experienced with the runners knot! Seems to sit a bit to tightly on my upper ankle
LOL I never thought I would see Nick on the toilet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lol 😂 the squatty potty!!! Rock on dude 🤘🏻
first
love the videos man
keep up the grind
Bunny ears for life for me. No graduating, not changing now lol
That quote is 💣
To answer his question in the beginning I was taught loop swoop first but once I learned the bunny ears it’s been that ever since
First I use the loop thing😁, and since your video of the 100 push-ups daily I have done them or more without excuses 💪🏼 thank you I was procrastinating about everything, now everything except push-ups 😜
You inspire us all nick, thanks for doing what you do
he doesnt inspire me
@@d0ubletap586 why? Because he's a snob😂😂?
@@Adrian-to3gq he's a fake natty, has no balls to admit he's on the special sauce
@@boxerjjp9416 that was the second thing I wanted to ask. Can't argue with that but there are good reasons he can't admit to it
@@Adrian-to3gq yeah, he owns a supplement company.
Awesome keep goving bro
Maxx Chewing vibes at the end lol Dood would be proud.
Bunny ears all day every day. It may seem more simplistic but that is why it works better, loop swoop and pullers are always re-tying their laces that come apart. 🐰!
Hey Nick, love your work bro! Thank you!! How do deal with soreness?
I'm building up my trail running game slowly, up to around 15+kms. I stretch daily and ice bath 1-2x per week.
I weight train also 4-5 times per week. How do you build up to say 30 or even 50kms, does it just come over time?
Cheers Nick!!
You know Nick's working on a cook book. And I'll buy as soon as it's out lol
Need one of those hoodies film crew was wearing!
Title is gold
I used bunny ears for most of my life up until about 12 years ago. I find loop, swoop as you call it to be tighter. Even better is the loop, swoop, swoop which will lock the knot.
Yes!!! Bunny ears all the way... they never come untied either and they lay flat!
Let’s Go!!
Bunny ears method for life!
You need to add in bidets aswell! Complete game changer
Dope intro music.
Bunny ears all the way I could never get them tight enough the other method! I thought I was the only one 🤣
So cool. How did you develop your training program?
Bunny ears alllll day. Glad to know I’m not alone 😆
I love the helix mattress I have king size but as my husband always says , not great for activities even though there website says it is 😆 .. fantastic for sleep though , defiantly had a ton of laughs and great recovery with the mattress !!
Bunny ears man I never learned other ways to tie em. Works great btw
Im cheering for you Nick! I also use bunny ears to tie my shoes, i have even been mocked because of it haha
Nick, whist using the Squatty Potty, is it also appropriate to use the same ancestral channeling to scream out, "WHO DOES NUMBER 2 WORK FOR!?" followed by "HADOUKEN!" ? Curious minds.
Ayeeee nice rosary on your rear view mirror! 🙏🏻 God Bless!
Bunny ears definitely the way and doesn’t come undone
Nick do a full house tour sometime. You have an awesome house
Haha! I totally use the bunny ears!
what sort of terrain and elevation do you get on your training runs? I assume they are not all flat runs?
I still use the bunny ears. I agree it makes a tighter and nicer knot.
Bunny ears still for me at 56, I'll never be swayed or pressured to change by others :)
@nickbare when will the fish oil come out. I can’t wait for them
Consistency compounds means we do something today save it means almost nothing. 3 years from then if we have been consistent, it means our life has totally changed!
I still use bunny ears too lol. I never learned loop, swoop and pull
Squatee potee 😆 Love it. Yes, it does work. 😁
How did you get the rights for the song in the beginning? Please more of that😂😅👍🏻😍👌🏻❤️
Bunny ears for the win!!!
Nick's morning vitamins/nutrition would cost ~165/month? I think I would need to have a house like his before being able to afford that.
Supplements are only supplementary. Yes they help and he makes a living by selling them. But they are totally worthless without a solid foundation of diet and exercise.
@@guisspino2347 so true
Bunny ears here :D Double actually to make sure it will not get undone during the run.
Da Hell is a Loop Swoop and Pull. I have NEVER heard of that in my entire life.
i use too the bunny ears method !!
Squatty potty 😂😂 To funny, Thanks for showing how it works 💪
I remember when i was 7 i argued with my aunt about this i couldn’t do the other type of shoe tying till this day I’m 16 and i still do two bunnies
I heard you say you still use the bunny ear method and I cried! lol
(I’m not alone)
What do you listen to (if anything) while running?
Bunny ears mate forever 🙏🏾
What watch are you using on your run?
I use bunny ears method as well
Bunny ears always my man.
Nick,
What watch is that for your training? Did you ever do a video on the training tools like watches, heart rate etc. thanks bud
I believe he has during his Ironman/Challenge Cancun series before Leadville.
@@riab6021 thanks I’ll check it out.
