EUROCOMPULSION | Stock 1/4 Mile & Dyno - 124 ABARTH SPIDER

- We throw our stock 124 ABARTH on our dyno, and take it to the drag strip! Before we begin our build up to tuning and a bigger turbo, we needed baselines from the car to know what we're working with, and how the car performs in less than ideal summer conditions.
Our dyno session covers stock boost levels and differences between sport and non-sport mode.

Like always great video guys
Great as always
Enjoyed watching your video!
Great work. Hope you do more videos on the abarth.
Can’t wait for more.
Top stuff.. i look forward to more.
👍Pete from oz..
Well made video.
Good stuff!!!
Thanks for the video. I currently am running your intercooler, catch-can, and V4 intake on my Classica. I am on an Openflash tune. I also have a GWR muffler delete, midpipe, and cross-pipe. The car just does not feel as fast as I feel it should be. This video series might convince me to move to your tunes. I hope the videos come fast!
WangChung the Open Flash stage 2 on the 500 is no match for EC phase 1. Actually they were neck and neck up to about 5k, then the EC tunes pulled away like mad.
Wanna see the new results after the mods. Suggestion:
Put the results in a table / “slide” at the end, like a summary.
15.2 corrected seconds with 20 minutes of heat soak and no break-in is fantastic for this car. Good work with the dyno showing the difference in power levels between sport/non-sport modes on the Abarth. Are the Classica/Lusso essentially running in non-sport mode the entire time?
You are kidding, iright? One of our customers just ran 14.7 in 100 degree heat, with an hour of head soak with our tune.
Hi John. Let's be accurate and HONEST. Your customer ran a 14.744 at 92.56 at Icar Mirabel in Quebec at 5:58pm. Weather data from that day show that the high was 72F and the low of 54F, and it's near sea level. Your tune was barely faster than stock. The car was stock, in case you missed that tidbit.
Hi Dan, the Classica and Lusso essentially run Abarth Sport mode boost maps all the time. In other words, they all run about 21psi of peak boost, but the Abarth only does it in Sport mode.
Mirabel temp at 6pm => 66.2f , 45% humidity. 271ft above sea level, 30inHg air pressure. Corrected to 14.7@93MPH.
iCar is a great track, can’t wait to try it out, but I’m finding that tunes really need to reach up high if you’re going to trap anything respectful. Low end torque is great but useless at full song.
Now that I’ve fixed my O2 sensor after rubbing on my v4 clamp, I can give the drag strip a run for its money! I’m really hoping for repeatable 14s!!
Also, these 124s launch so much harder!!
