I think it’s so much better that it’s one big image, like the last 54,000 one was a lot of pieces in one puzzle but it’s essentially lots of mini puzzles in the photo frames. One huge puzzle is way cooler and more complex I think!
@@rosiefay7283 the Travel around Art puzzle is divided up into 27 separate 2000 piece bags. With a poster image for each bag. This so to make it a bit easier. I hope they did something similar for this one 😄
The puzzle looks super interesting and I would def watch Karen complete it, but I hope she doesn't feel pressured to get and complete it, she already works so much on so many projects
@@Vivypips You're right, it could be the ultimate puzzle collab! She could get some of her speed-puzzling friends like Tammy and Yvonne, other CZcamsrs, other puzzle enthusiasts, and of course her sister Katie!!
Hi Karen! The issues with this are the size being too big for most homes and the huge time investment. But, if you can find a way to do it, your viewers will cheer you on. There could be other impressive, options with 30-40K pieces.
well it's divided into 60 bags. So you have to solve a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle 60 times. And I think everyone has enough space to do a 1000 piece puzzle. The sections that are already finished can be stowed away somewhere else
Karen you are so so great at puzzles. I recommend that you get this puzzle so I and others watch you achieve doing it. I've watched you do the 40,000 plus puzzle and it was great even though it took you some time. I love how you sectioned it off in parts tho. Take care Karen I'll be keeping my eyes out to see if you get the itch to do it. Or hopefully you get donated the puzzle to try from Dowdle since you are the official puzzle Queen.
I find Dowdle puzzles to be on the more difficult side because of the way the drawings are made. I have done a few and the images tend to be a bit fuzzier than other brands, and the way he draws mountains, trees, etc. in a more cartooney way makes them harder, IMO.
Honestly for a puzzle somethig that big and special, it would be cool if its magnetic and comes with a board for you to do it on, or even hung on the wall and do it standing up or even sitting
That's actually a really good price... comparing the price to something like LEGO... I'd say it's definitely worth it for anyone with the dedication to build it.
The puzzle was a lot cheaper than I expected but I struggle with a 1000 piece puzzle. No way I could do it. But I can't wait to see the series of you completing it.
That is the most cutest top that you have worn ever! Soo cute! Best of luck at the puzzle tournament! 👍 oh and that puzzle looks incredibly awesome, you should definitely get it.
Rhett and Link just had this on Good Mythical Morning and all the comments were saying how they should have had Karen on the show, and I totally agree!
Dowdle is one of my favorite puzzle brands ❤ I'm so excited to hear about this puzzle because I've been collecting the dowdle world puzzles 😊 now i have a new goal to work up to.
Actually, the world's largest jigsaw puzzle in the world measures 48'x76'; with 551,232 pieces. The puzzle, which was put together at the Phu Tho Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City by the students at the University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The 1,600 participating students were divided into 800 teams of two. It took the students 17 hours to first break up the 3,132 sections, each containing 176 pieces, into which the jigsaw puzzle had been divided, and then re-assemble them to create the puzzle. Each piece measured 2,5 cm x 2,5 cm. Many students spent the night in the stadium to ensure that all was in place for a live TV broadcast of the Guinness World Records certificate presentation. The record-breaking puzzle depicted a lotus flower with six petals in symbolic representation of the six areas of knowledge envisaged by the Mindmap study method: human beings, geography, history, culture, education and economy. It broke a Guinness World Record previously set in Singapore of 212,323 pieces which had stood since 2002. This record was set in 2011.
800 dollars is actually insanely affordable when you break it down to the amount of hours of enjoyment you would get from it, even just for material costs alone that seems super affordable. I’m honestly considering it
With such an amazing puzzle it is unfortunate imo that the map format is the archaic Mercator projection which shows countries further from the equator disproportionately large.
I'm afraid this was useless for me as there are no subtitles for deaf people. No idea what was being said. I've found this with other shorts, no subtitles. Someone did tell me how to get them but I couldn't get it to work.
That puzzle was honestly way cheaper than I expected! Cool that there is a market for novelty items like this to be mass produced
I know. I was expecting a grand. Though that may be closer to the amount with shipping and handling.
Same I had 3000 in mind
@@chubbydinosaur9148 exactly me too
I was expecting $700 but wouldn't have been surprised at $1k.
Exactly tell me why I said 20k when she said guess how much🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg PLEASE get it!!! I solemnly swear to watch the ads all the way through!
This this this
Saaaameeeeee
Get it, Karen! Go go go go go go go!
Saaaaaameeee
Gofundme? Lol.
That’s only $13.33 per 1000 piece puzzle and we all know we spend more than that on a regular basis 😂
Good point! If they bagged it in 1000-15000 piece bits so I could actually fit it in my apartment I might actually buy it. Lol.
@@emma70707 On the site it says it's bagged in 1000 piece bits, so you could totally do it in sections
That’s the reasoning I used when I bought the 42000 piece😂 it was only €8 per 1000…
🤣 I like it
That would be my puzzle for the next few years
I wouldn’t try it, but I’d definitely watch a video of you putting it together! ❤
I'm pretty sure that would turn into a year-long series 😅
@@KarenPuzzlesI would watch that series! ☺️🧩❤️

Bring other youtubers or puzzlers with you on that challengeeee
I love how they dont just slap on simple pictures on the puzzle. They designed it and its actually very pretty! So much more interesting and fun!

Agreed!
Guess how much it costs:
Me: 10.000 Her: 800 Me: Damn I'm really bad at eastimating things xD
I guessed 10k too xD
Me to! Hahaha
Haha, my guess was $5,000
my guess was 600 so I was pretty close!
I randomly thought 75,000$ not sure why as it's a puzzle but ah yeah way over estimated
if you want to take up donations to do the puzzle, I’d chip in a bit and I would also watch the ads all the way through
A 1000 piece puzzle takes me about two weeks. So this puzzle would be around 2,5 years of puzzle time for me! I think I'll pass for now 😄
Even more than that. Imagine 60 of your 1000-piece puzzles with all their pieces mixed up together.

Wow, I would’ve thought it cost a lot more!!
Holy cow that's a lot of pieces!! I think I'd rather do sixty 1,000 piece puzzles instead.
I don't have nearly enough space and time for that but that would have been a childhood dream.

this is a lot better picture than of the previous record puzzle as it is a coherent picture and not just several pictures put together as a collage

$800 seems a lot less than I thought it might be. The big question is: can you lift it up!?
