  • The aircraft (MSN059) is registered as F-WMIL and will fly in the coming weeks. Yesterday was its first time taxiing on the runway. No doubt it will be back on the move in the next few days.

    A350-1000 gives me that feeling of watching an Airbus A340-600 (my favourite aircraft). I fall in love again and again when i see her.

    Il est magnifique !!
    Ca va être un succès énorme !!
    Si l'A380 est un échec, l'A350-1000 sera un triomphe !!
    Il a le nez d'une caravelle et ça !! J'adore !!

    Now that IS an impressive looking aeroplane - reminds me of the A340-600, powerful but with lean elegant lines.

    Long and thin goes right in but short and fat, they love that. Can't really see them extending this again as this size evidently fulfills the sweet spot. Nice looking bird.

      It is like that. I do not understand how there are people who say it is similar to 777. They really look bad. A350 elegant, beautiful and with its own personality.

    nice clip... however these are not 'taxi' tests nor are they 'low speed'. This was probably the first of the 'Rejected-Take-Off' tests. There are usually three: 30kts, 60kts and a third at 60 or slightly more... depends on how they do it. these are required for certification. Taxi tests were done some time before this.

    • @curuxiane
      @curuxiane  Před 7 lety +2

      yes, you can call them RTO. And that day, that fastest was 90kts (the 5th that day), which is not really fast ... that's why I called it "low speed". At that speed, there was no risk the plane would take off ; that's why I called it "taxi tests".

    Looks very similar to a Boeing 777...

    • @matekochkoch
      @matekochkoch Před 7 lety

      Exactly the fuselage is orientated along with flight direction, two wings one on each side and wheels are all on the lower side none on the roof.......

    • @relaxationstation7374
      @relaxationstation7374 Před 7 lety

      Sasha R My God, Airbus has had nearly 30 years to target, study and copy the design of the Boeing 777 just like they targeted, studied and nearly copied the 747 so completely that now both super-jumbo jets are in exactly the same situation and are having lagging sales and are in danger of being taken out of production.

    • @relaxationstation7374
      @relaxationstation7374 Před 7 lety

      Sasha R What happens in reality is that, every aircraft manufacturer basically has the same customers and all of the customers are ultimately looking for aircraft that are able to consistently deliver great fuel efficiency and minimal maintenance, downtime and other operating costs and whichever aircraft manufacturer is able to deliver an aircraft with these qualities will win the most sales until the competition catches up and if one aircraft manufacturer receives more aircraft orders than it can fill then their competitors benefit from the overflow aircraft sales traffic, and given these facts. neither Boeing or Airbus is finished yet.
