Airbus A350-900 XWB windy take-off and landing.
There has been quite a lot of wind in the last couple of days. The A350 flying "testlab" has performed a series of take-offs and landings under those conditions.

Airbus A350-1000 High Energy Rejected Take-Off!

The aircraft requested a high energy ultimate take-off from the tower. It was all too quick ! I knew what it involved (smoke, abrupt slow down and potential flames !) without reversers. I knew it would be dramatic! I was caught by surprise ! and IT WAS impressive. I hope it looks as impressive on the video as it was on the spot.

As it takes off, you can hear one of the engines is being switched off. then, the rudder is bent to its maximum to compensate the torque. That's one of the tests the A330neo has been performing in the last few days.

Wind gusts were 20kts strong, coming from the West ... not the strongest you find here, but it was enough for some turbulent approaches. Turskish Airlines' Boeing 737-800 had to perform a go-around, but landed safely a few minutes after. I heard it once years ago in live, at high altitude. At the evening we watched the tv, and heard this strange sound. I watched the flightradar24, and i found this aircraft above us, at high altitude. It was really loud and scarry. Never heard anything like this.

8 years on and the a350 is still the world's best... and it's beating the 787 in most aspects. What a beautiful plane! But if you are someone who claps when a plane lands (like in this video), you are a certified disgrace...
The title and description of the video clearly states that this was an inaugural flight for that Qatar A350. Most likely you had employees from the airline, Airbus, and AV-Geeks as passengers. Historic Flights for an airline (new aircraft, new routes, pilot retirement etc.) are special for a reason and will always generate a lot of fanfare for those lucky to take part in them ✈

Die Welt braucht Großraumflugzeuge, alleine aus der Tatsache, das Hilfsgüter, Hilfsmaterial demnächst öfters transportiert werden müssen. Es wird zumindest ein Großraumflugzeug benötigt, das sowohl auf dem Wasser, als auch auf dem Land, starten und landen kann. Ob so ein Großraumflugzeug in der Größe der AN 225 oder kleiner ?

Antonov somehow managed to make every aircraft of their line up sound unique. Starting with the -70 and -22. The -12 and -26 also have a very unique sound. Also the Ruslan engines can't be mistaken for another aircraft
If I'm not mistaken, one of the engines was intentionally switched off just before lift. #duringTesting.
Sounds nothing like the AN22 or TU95! sounds more like a dragster!

Next time I'm in a A-340-600 and it starts doing that immediately after take-off, I won't be worried.
