I've just been to the Dollar Tree the other day - I think the ioni Phat chubby lipsticks are amazing! They're basically fat pencils you can use as liner, but they're creamy enough to use as lipstick. The Plum shade is my favorite. The ioni blushes are pretty amazing, too.

When a very affordable mascara doesn't do much and it is super dry, I add about 3 to 5 eyedrops in it and stir well. It always work out to me and it doesn't compromise any waterproof properties of the mascara.

Good tip for the rose quartz thingy. It would be fantastic for ear aches and blocked eustachian tubes. Place it right behind the outer ear and the gentle vibration will help drain fluid out the ears/ eustachian tubes.
W7 is a british brand that does a lot of dupes: palettes (Huda, ND, Too Face, etc), the brow freeze, a Chanel cream bronzer, lipsticks, etc.
And LA Colors is a fantastic brand, super underrated. People usually just talk about her older sister LA Girl (also great). You can find awesome gems.

There is a lady on you tube, I think her channel is Jessica dollar diva ?? She does lots of la color reviews. She described one of the new eye shadow palettes as being as good as natasha denona. I looked through her older videos and she has older high end eye palette review and "looks" videos. I like her channel. Em mentioned dollar store content popping up and I have the same thing popping up in my feed. This lady is an entertainer/stage/theater I believe.

I used to live in the UK and W7 is a decent mid-range brand available in most drugstores. So getting it at a discount store is really good value!
Thank you for giving affordable brands a chance and testing them. Not all of us can afford high end and there are great options out there and no one knows you aren’t wearing a drug store brand. I grew up in the 80s and wet and wild and covergirl, maybelline was the brand to go to and now there are so many options and shades to encompass shades for more people. I was one that could not wear your typical covergirl or maybelline foundation in the drug stores because they didn’t have the shades for olive skin. So I had to get the Mary Kay or Clinique base. And the rest I used in drug store. I love there is so many options and choices. Thanks for sharing as always. ❤

Emily. Have you ever done a video about price points and ingredients/packaging? For example, those Ioni blushes in the cardboard packaging remind me of The Balm or Benefit. Why is one $1.25, but the other $36? Why choose one over the other? I just wondered if that was ever a video you've thought of making. More of the economics and business side of it.
Wet n wild Brandywine lip liner and Cover Girl lipstick in coffee bean was my lips in the 90s once in awhile I'd use CG Iced Mocha lipstick for a slightly lighter brown but Brandywine was it. Wow the memories 🙃

I'm loving the B-Pure products!! I bought the little L.A.Color palettes liking them but they are a little shimmery. I spend about $10 every other week at Dollar Tree to treat myself on things. $1.25 risk is doable 😊

I love going to dollar tree or five below , I recently commented this but Moda has a brush at five below called (contour ) and it’s so nice to set under eyes😍.
My go-to tool for blending out under eye concealer is a dry real techniques mini sponge. It really helps maintain the coverage.

You’re like the only person from the 2016 YT makeup heyday that I still follow and consistently watch. I love your steadiness and knowledge, and your love of makeup shines through in every video.
The mascaras in the tubes that match the lipstick case are good. I am currently using the white tube. Everything flakes on me, even lash princess, but I have zero issues with this one. It feels like a tubing mascara so easy to remove but stays in place when I use it. There is a white one, a pink one, a blue one, and a green one. All black. Fantastic!
And the cuticle oil comes with pink, purple, green, and blue stones. My kid works for DT so she excitedly texts pictures when they get the new makeup in. 🙂
Are you talking about the one's that are kinda rounded on the back, simply say Mascara on them?? They had lipstick in similar packaging, giving Maybelline Lifter glosses vibes...I have a green and white one, for about 2 months now, have yet to try. If so, definitely wanna try them after seeing your comment 😊

@@emilynoel83not a ton. Hit a miss, like nothing and then the occasional great gem. Ours can be pretty good on hair products - stylers, shampoo and conditioner, box dye etc. Dollar Tree is way better for makeup products. Neither of them are offering the GEM that is the ICONIC 666 lip pencil ( what a shade number to pick 👿😅 ) as soon as you started teasing the find, I got excited,I knew it was going to be Brandywine, I Loved that pencil so much. Thankyou sister in Christ for giving us girls affordable options & reviews!! ❤️🙏🏻🕊️ Dollar tree advice: when these limited additions drop, you have to literally RUN. once it's gone it's gone! I managed to get all the blushes/highlight & bronzer, I managed to actually hit every new limited edition this year & it was A LOT. DID NOT Disappoint!! Just vibin, bubble tea, mad hatter, & some kind of Cali/vacay inspired collection. I'm very happy to hear about w7 in five below!! I really like that pallet!! Also would LOVE for you to check out ALDIS DUPES, makeup,skincare,scents etc.There are ZERO good mascaras their my love ❤️😞 Only ones I've ever found that were good were ioni & they are purple & Blue lol. If they could only bring us that brush & formula in black 🖤
Yes, I have a Family Dollar Tree as well. And like you, I have to go to the next town over to Dollar Tree because they seem to be stocked with so much more products than my store even tho my store is bigger. Idk why that is. Its annoying and in some ways it can be inconvenient at times. Either way, I love having them around regardless. I shop at Dollar General too. I get a lot of stuff from all of them.

I thought the WnW product would be Reserve Your Cabana, but I'm wrong.
I think it was originally a bronzer, but it can be used as a finishing powder or highlighter. I recently came across this gem in my drawer, and even though it's old, I can't part with it!! I used it to blend out my eyeshadow, and it gave a nice subtle glow under the brows. I have to remember to use it again.

Oh my goodness ! The W& W in 666 was my everyday lip liner & still to this day as a Christian that number on there bothered me so so bad as if I was sinning & knew better. My five below also has a ton of rimmel products, definitely a hidden gem to stock up on WnW.
I went and looked for the WNW lip liner after seeing this! I found them at CVS for 1.39! I got brandywine and chestnut, it was the only two shades they had of those long pencil liners.
Brandywine all over the lips reminded me of bobbi brown crushed lip in ruby! I love it

I wore that Wet N Wild lip liner with Cherry Chapstick! My first "Your skin but better" experience! I found a pencil from Jordana in nude that was identical, and they quit making that one too. Going to Five Below today. THANK YOU EM!!! 😘😍
Hi! When I come across a too-dry mascara, instead of throw it away, I add a drop or two of saline eye drops into it until I get the desired viscosity. Have thrown away too much money in the past! I can at least get some uses out of it this way!
I've seen the color icon lip liners at Rite Aid. They've been there for a good while now. Also, at Dollar tree there is one good mascara. Megawear in a turquoise tube from Wet n Wild.
Brandy wine was my first and favorite lip liner from middle school to college lol.
W7 is a UK based brand that have a ton of dupes, they dupe Huda, Natasha Denona, CT, ABH...kinda like Alter Ego here in the US, sadly we can only get a few of their products here. Yes! The iconic long WnW pencils! They definitely need to be brought back in both eye liners and lip liners, I believe they have them on their site. Great video Em❤!
That B Pure brand makes a really great cream blush as well and I highly recommend all the Ioni chubby sticks!

This is one of my favorite videos that you've ever done! I'm going to Dollar Tree tomorrow to find that eyeshadow! And I'll definitely be going to Five Below to find that lip liner. I wanted to tell you (in case you hadn't heard already!) that Cover Girl redid their clean makeup foundation. You know the stuff in the glass bottle with no pump that smelled like Noxema??? They've put it in a squeeze tube now and it's fragrance free. Please try it for us!
Also wanted to let you know that Loreal is discontinuing the Bambi mascara and Walgreens is selling it for $3 and change. It was one of my absolute favorites. If you never tried it, now is the time!!

Emily, do you have a video on how you treated your melasma? Or did it go away on its own?
I didn't really seek out a treatment for it - it was prompted by pregnancy hormones (and sun exposure would make it even more obvious)... but my mom said she had the same thing, and it went away on its own after pregnancy. Mine behaved the same way. Keeping a good SPF on my face at all times definitely helps. Sorry if that's not helpful, as I know pregnancy is not the trigger for everyone who deals with this!
You had me on the edge of my seat with that wet n wild guessing game 😂 I didn’t guess correctly but I do love those liners!! I just found them in HEB! Hadn’t seen them in store in yearssss so I was excited 😅
W7 is an awesome British brand that does a LOT of good dupes. My favourite products from them are their foundations. If you manage to find their Smart Foundation, give it a go, Em! It is absolutely my all time fav foundation. So good! Their Very Vegan line is also amazing, I love both foundations of the Very Vegan line. I am always on a budget because I'm essentially homeless, but I love makeup and W7 has the best affordable products that perform beautifully. I couldn't afford Milani eyeshadow primer here in the UK, so I've started using W7 Primer View (their eyeshadow primer) and my eyeshadow stays beautifully in place all day with minimum fade and no creasing at all on my very hooded eyes!

I have that lip liner (yes, the same one i bought way back in the early 2000’s!!) back when i saw in a magazine where they were showing how to do a gradient dark red lip! 😱 I still have the little magazine article cut out with it too cuz i used to make little kits for looks i was working on and i didnt throw them out. 🧡👍🧡👍

I love this! I’m currently wearing a BB cream mixed with the sunscreen both from Dollar Tree and it looks really good and has nice staying power. I actually like to get a little bit darker shade and mix it with sunscreen to get the right shade. It’s how I make some of my sunscreens that have a white cast work.

Hi Emily W7 is a UK brand I believe and is everywhere in our version of the lower cost stores. They have a wide range and have many products “inspired by” high end products. I often buy their nail varnish as it’s good quality for the money and their powder products are usually decent quality too. It’s really popular amongst the teens here😂. Best wishes x
