Fantastic install video. Have a suspicion they sent me the wrong cables for the sound and no cable to the micro usb. Everything seems to work except the sound. Can you tell me how you updated the software? I'd appreciate it.
Appreciate the kind words Jacob! The way I updated the software was by hooking up to my wifi and downloading the updates. If you can't turn your phone into a hotspot or get signal from a home wifi, go somewhere (Starbucks, for example) and see if you can connect to their network and download the updates. It's running android so it's similar to updating your phone.
@@phil_hazzy Thanks, did just that!! After diving into CZcams, found out the passcode for the factory settings is '123456'. As for the sound issue I ended up joining the orange AMP wire and the blue Anteanna wire and got sound working. In case anyone else was having those issues........now onto figuring out the flashing mileage problem.
@@jacoblashua5298 the flashing mileage has to do with setting the unit to the correct vehicle configuration. I don't have the abarth any more otherwise I'd make you a video! It's pretty easy...if only I could remember how to do it 🤔
Comprehensive install vid , well done. I have a question about the SWC module, were you able to assign steering wheel controls? I have a Ram Promaster City which is the NA version of the Fiat Doblo and no joy😞
I was able to make the buttons on the steering wheel work. There are multiple vehicle configurations in the computer and I remember the Doblo being one. Go get some joy!
Thanks for this video. I have install on mine a Pioneer SPH-DA250DAB but i got some issue after the install, maybe you know what's wrong ? Issue: The mileage on my meter flashes non stop, Sometime The steering wheel controls Track up and Track Down (only this 2) doesn't work, The reversing radar is very weak I barely heard it. Thx
You need to select the correct application on the install box to get the mileage to not flash. It would also fix the steering wheel buttons. Since this wasn't a pioneer, i don't know the steps to get into the programming portion. As for the radar volume, I'm not sure.
@@phil_hazzy Thanks for your answer, i contacted the support and they tell me to go in the Infodaptor Settings and to change "Security Type=1" to "Security Type=2" and now everything work :)
Were u able to still use steering wheel controls? Did you still get messages in odometer dial? Did it use same phone mic in car? Does stereo have hd tuner ?
Yes the steering wheel controls work and the original mic works although the mic is weak. A new mic is included but I didn't install it. Yes on the odometer messages as well after install. And yes on the hd tuner.
The factory plugs still charge but the USB doesn't hook up to the stereo. However, USB ports are included with the kit that do both, charge and connect to the head unit. My phone connects wirelessly so I opted not to install them.

but this is not Android Auto. The question is, can you connect with the phone on wifi or USB to activate android auto?
The head unit runs Android and I show Android Auto running on it from my phone. It connects wirelessly.
ah good. Great, thanks @@phil_hazzy
Do you know by any chance if there is a reseller in the Netherlands?
Were you able to get the reverse camera working?
Only when I selected the camera manually, never when I put the car in reverse. Could never figure it out.
Does it has the Apple CarPlay?
Yes it does
Does it integrate with the factory USB sockets?
