I bought the Real FX set for the kids because you get proper pistol style controllers, they love it and it easy to control.

The game is a ton of fun, until you learn that the blue car that comes in the starter set has the absolute best stats and abilities that ruin the game. Also you can hit people above or below you with weapons depending on the track.
CoolCarl222 there is no bear stats each car has their own weaknesses (ik this is rlly late)

You do not. In fact, you can play by yourself without any other friends, since the computer will control the other cars. However, if you have friends that enjoy the game, I recommend you bring them along since after a while of playing alone, you get bored. I hope this helps!

I agree, Fate of the Furious was indeed shit, I used to love the franchise but they've steadily got worse with each movie. Fate made me roll my eyes from the start with the "winning a race in reverse" bullshit (reverse being roughly same gear ratio as 1st) but then the sub that seemed to be able to keep up with sports cars and the torpedo's on the ice just took the piss, its just stupid now.
Marozi1 You hit the nail on the head. I really liked the franchise except the 4th movie with Fast Five being the best. The runway scene at the end of 6 was really stupid and the only good thing about 7 was the Paul Walker tribute. Everything else from there is apparently just going to be straight trash based on the stupidity of 8. It's a shame.

You can with some of the digital sets now, yes. When playing with others, its preference as to what is more fun. This is way cheaper that digital slot.
