imagine sitting down to watch a movie and randomly seeing yourself portrayed
Especially a movie that ends up being a classic. Most movies are forgettable. You would have to show people the movie if you were depicted in that movie, in most cases.
If I was depicted in The Room or Gigli, I would be pissed. In his case, Goodfellas is an incredible and I would be proud to have my name mentioned in it, even though he isn't proud of his former life. It really depends on the movie
@@saviorself1164 ONe of those movies I can see people still watching 50-100 years from when it was made. Truly a classic.

Same and so many other mob interviews are so much bullshit and when I first discovered MIchael months ago you can instantly tell the difference. So much sincerity and more realistic, believable descriptions of events.
Every mob interveiw is I killed 60 people I killed 100 people, i was best friends with Capone whatever. Michael said " I dont think there was even 40 guys to kill in the entire family" . Richard kuklinski has confirmed to of killed 13 people but also showed great exaggerations and changed details. Even in his interveiw theres a part that says " do you think it was 100?" " yeah, atleast, I think""
"Over 100?"
"Yeah maybe 200"
Then we have litteraly 40 different versions of the jimmy Hoffa story.meanwhile when it comes to murders or crimes michael wasnt caught for he is extremely vague or completley dodged the question. The king doesnt need to tell you hes king.

Hahaha I laughed so hard at that part. He was just like, "why the fuck would u even drop my name?!?! I wasn't even in your crew!!!".... But hey Michael u put yourself in that situation, what was Pretty Woman or Ghost sold out?? First scene dives right in, and nothing gets a girl more turned on than seeing a guy beg for his life then being brutally stabbed and shot in the trunk of a Cadillac.
Lol
My dad had a pizza place in lewisburg in the 70âs, and Al Pacino came in for lunch after visiting some friends in the pen..
Damn was he famous by then ? Did he click a picture ? Crazy .
@@sanket677 He was famous enough that my dad knew who he was, and he did get a picture, it was at my grandmas house for a long time, my uncle lives with my grandma and when she passed away I donât know what she did with all of her stuff, I would love to have that picture though. Not only because it was a picture of my dad with Al Pacino but they were standing in front of my dadâs restaurant and it was my dadâs first restaurant, my dad would go on to open 46 pizzerias Over the years and that was his first, so I really want to find that picture LOL
@@robcolone8546 Very cool. Post it if you find it. What was the name of your Dad's pizza joint?
@@charlescarter4608 So the name of that place was Napoli pizza. My dad opened a whole bunch of pizza places and sold them and they were usually have different names, but he had five or six that were called Napoli, he had five or six that were called Famosa, he had a couple of them called Kings, he was all over the place LOL
Must off been good pizza lol
Thank you once again, Michael.
I personally appreciate your mature perspective- that of a wiser, more careful and thoughtful gentleman who can reflect on his prior life in a careful AND diplomatic way.
Your are blessed, you know.
Loving this video and reviews and all man, good stuff đ đ đ
If there was EVER a movie that made a young guy want to be a gangster it was THIS one. These were horrible people, that took what they wanted by illegal means for decades, yet it still has a certain romance about the lifestyle. As far as a movie,i think its perfect.
Tommy should go home and get Michaelâs shinebox, get Michaelâs shinebox
It's a shame Tommy isn't alive anymore :(
Hi Michael, I enjoy each and every video presentation. Bravo! Thank you for depicting the honest truth about mob life and such movies. Stay well, be Blessed and Happy Holidays to you đ. Best regards, John from NJ.
Good stuff as always Michael.
I too am a huge fan of Mr. Pesci. I'm sure that you've considered doing a sit-down with Mr. Pesci but if you haven't that is something that I would love to see!
Keep up the great work that you are doing and God bless you and your family!
Michael Franzese is the real deal.

Yo WTF, itâs funny to see you here, I was just watching your video on Candace Owens vs Cardi B
Michael Franzese: Directors only get an hour and a half in a movie.
The Irishman: *is longer than the actual history of Ireland*

The most bizzare thing I saw, was Henry Hill on a morning magazine show in the UK called 'This Morning,' doing a cookery slot after an interview.
Life is strange.
If i remember Henry actually has a cookbook for sale it's mostly his family recipes
Really enjoy listening to you speak Michael ! And Goodfellas is one of my all-time favourite movies . Greetings from Australia !
Thank you for all you do with the real stories you share with us.
Michael Franzese had the makings of a varsity mob captain.
Mr. Franzese can you talk about the Sicilian guys that was involved in the heroin business with Carmine Galante in the 70s and the difference between the Sicilian Mafia and the Italian American Mafia. Greetings from Italy.
Cosa Nostra doesn't do Drugs.
@@Yesitsmyrealname that's cute
@@Yesitsmyrealname who said anything about cosa nostra? Heâs talking about the Sicilian mafia not cosa nostra

I once had an opportunity to meet a gentleman called Douglas Arnold who was one of the original members of the UK SAS. Iâd have loved to meet him and hear his stories and I have the same kind of vibe about Michael Franzese.
I like hearing the stories but to hear certain details off the record would be a priceless gift.
