Genuinely heartbroken here as a Bucks fan. I don’t even care that we aren’t winning the chip, or even this series. I just wanted to see Giannis and Dame, two of the greatest postseason performers of the modern era, in a playoff game together. Sucks that we’ll have to wait another whole year for that to happen.

As a bucks fan this season was cursed from the start. Already looking forward to next year after a retool around the edges and an offseason and training camp for Giannis/Dame/Doc... Last year's elimination hurt more. This year, what can you do..
I'm a Celtics fan, and I anticipated the ECF was going to be Bucks vs. Celtics. Sadly, that's probably not happening. I feel bad for this team, honestly 😔

As a Bucks fan this whole season can be summed up with the fact that all of the moves they made felt like they were trying to be something they were not.
They fired Bud due to his lack of adjustments in the playoffs (ignoring that also lost against miami because they are old and slow on defense.).
Then hired a rookie coach who rubbed everyone wrong in the organization.
Then they go after a Dame trade which also just felt out of character for them.
Then they realize that hiring a rookie coach with a bunch of older veteran players who need to win NOW was a bad move and they decide to hire DOC FUCKING RIVERS mid season to help them secure a shot at a championship (???????)
Horst has a great rep as a GM but all of these moves combined just show spur of the moment desicion making with quick regrets and attempts to fix them by doing something even worse. Its not just this season but the problems that will persist for quite a while that hurt as a fan.
As a heat fan. I’m glad they used their energy to hate on us. Just got yourself out the picture 😂 we are bad also but much better off then bucks, blazers, and suns imo.
This roller coaster season has to be blamed on management. You have some very good points here.
This season never felt right from the beginning. Felt like a nightmare NASCAR sequence where a driver crashes, reverses then gets rear ended, only for the engine to blow up when he accelerates before the car finally flips over and explodes. Only, your witnessing it in slow motion over the course of almost a year. I was rooting for the Bucks to win because of Giannis, but it was not meant to be. Too much changes in such a small time, like going to school halfway through a semeste, cramming for a final exam, meanwhile going through different teachers and classmates.
giannis forced the pressure on the bucks and it rushed everything into a car crash.

As a pacers fan I know we're not a contender and we've been lucky with injuries for the bucks but Mathurin is still out and this is the most fun i've had watching a pacers team that i can remember.

Nah, even if they pacers aren’t a contender now, they are so much closer than anyone thinks. They have the best offense in the league and an improving defense with a great top three. Best part is that they have so many young prospects like Sheppard, Jarace, Mathurin, and Nembhard that they don’t need to make a trade rn and rush the rebuild. As a Celtic fan I love seeing such a perfectly constructed team develop like this

As a bucks fan I had a bad feeling about this series from the get-go. Now granted, I didn’t expect all the injuries. I did expect Indy to out run, hustle, and outshoot them. one of those things has happened in each of the Bucks losses this series. Bucks need to get younger. Most of their roster looks ancient compared to Indy’s.
This is the Bucks #1 problem. They are going to struggle against any transition oriented team. The Pacers are just the purest form of that play style in the league right now. They need to invest in some youth. Problem is will Giannis or Dame want to stick around for that to gel. The Pacers went all in on youth a few years ago and were able to turn it around relatively quickly, they only won 25 games last season I think.
Man, the Suns are going out sad. Currently cooked, their future is cooked. Where do they even go from here?

It's time to stop sugarcoating the Bucks. The team is nothing but a bunch of medicore jump shooters and old player surrounding Giannis. The league is clearly heading in the direction of athletic, 2-way players but the Bucks front office constantly insists on getting old players like Gallanari who are past their prime. The incompetency of this team to surround Giannis with the right type of players knows no bounds. Look at every good team in the league and they all have young athletic 2-way players because they know what they need to be successful. And the fact that the Bucks have been this dominant with all these old players just shows how much better they will be off if they had young players. If y'all are wondering what the Bucks need to do. It's simple. You play your young 2-way players like Andre Jackson and Marjon Beauchamp. And you look to get rid of all your medicore catch and shoot players like Jae Crowder, Malik Beasley, and Pat Connaughton. Also, look to trade Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, and Gallanari. This team needs more pushing the pace like Giannis can instead of your ass to the basket like we're still in the 80s playing with Larry Bird. The Bucks aren‘t as bad as everyone is saying, but Giannis is injured and Dame is only playing defense when he want (almost never). This season has been cursed for the Bucks. Everything that can possibly go wrong has went wrong. The team is too old. Alot of retooling got to happen in the offseason. Only silver lining is that Doc will have a full off season with them.

5:11. It is AMAZING to me how Adrian keeps catching flack for the Bucks' season despite how south everything went after he was fired. Not saying he's a great coach or anything, but they got way worse after he left. Defense was marginally better (though it had all the same weaknesses teams had been getting wise to for years), but the offense completely collapsed from second best all time to mediocre.
Yet it feels like he's still getting more heat than Doc Rivers at times.
We had a much easier early season and rivers got one of dame’s coaches to quit, also he completely lost the respect of the team, doc isn’t a good coach but people need to stop giving Adrian griffin credit for what talent won

I am a big believer in the Bucks so I say this with all due respect, but the Pacers had their number all season, let's just be real. If Giannis was here in Playoff mode, I could see them maybe scraping by but in no less than 7 games. If the Pacers hadn't been shell shocked by the playoff atmosphere in game 1 this was gonna be a sweep and now we're seeing it's shaping up to be a gentlemen sweep.
Jalen Brunson is not struggling in this series besides the first 2 games. He set a NBA playoffs record with 86 points and 23 assist in back to back games

I think they signed doc to a two year deal, which if they fired him would mean: they would be paying Budholzer, Griffin, Doc and the next coach lol. They are stuck with Doc until his contract is up most likely.

just for the sake of continuity i dont think you can fire doc, having 4 different head coaches in the span of a little over a year is not a recipe for success. If they knew they were getting dame I don't think they would've fired bud in the first place, even then griffin was the complete wrong hire from the start. Nobody in the building seemed to like griffin, which led to stotts leaving the team before the season even started, and caused the giannis - dame 2 man game to never fully develop into what it could've been. As much as people like to compare the team records from griffin to doc, as a bucks fan it has been clear that doc was the better coach, he's just had to adjust to joining a team mid season, with the hardest schedule in basketball, compounded by waaaaayyyy more injuries to starters compared to griffin. I'm not saying he's been great, but I'm just not sure what you do here as the bucks. You keep him, he probably does better than he did down the stretch, but its still doc rivers. You get rid of him, you fuck up continuity again, and you make the state of the franchise unstable.
