Will you be rushing out to get your hands on the new Sony Bravia 9?
I can't wait to have Bravia 9 in my room!
No, like a lot of europeans, as they dont offer 55/65 size despite housing/apartment are a lot smaller than in US. Its a real bummer by Sony…
nope, no 65" version in UK / EU, I will be moving to LG.
B9 or G4 is the Q
@@Acconda I live in the UK and would love the 85 inch
The cable management on the back seems pretty smart.
Love your presentation and it matches everything we learned at Sony Pictures/Columbia Pictures event we attended and what the engineers shared with me! Today we received the BRAVIA 7 and early next week the 1st BRAVIA 9s are scheduled to arrive.
I already pre-ordered the 85" - I'm very much looking forward to it!
2:21 What?! I honestly thought that was a real big room with the indentation behind every TV. It was all virtual!
Progress is getting too fast for me to comprehend now a days and I LOVE IT!
I think sony is kicking asses with this mini led .
Kicking those nits up!
Sony TVs are always great, this looks awesome
2023-wow! This Sony is amazing and the best tv on the market.
2024-damn, that tv was so dim and boring and didn’t compare to the competition. Here’s the new one that will be amazing,
Pretty much sums up the whole market😂
20 years ago the TV were all good .
Nowadays , they say , black not so black , or white not so white , color not so accurate , or screen is reflective , or motion not the best, 65 inch too small , etc etc etc no matter what.
We didn't hv these problems 30 years ago , are these reviewers saying we should go back to tube 32 inch .
I hope reviewers just review the TV with his own eyes , not reviewing it using a software it our eyes that watch TV , not the technical software .
Impressive Mini led TV.😊
Can't wait to see the A95L vs Bravia 9 videos
The A95L actually is priced higher than the new bravia 9 (and its larger) 77” vs 75”.
@Picklgreen I have the A95L and want to see these comparisons videos to see if this new mini LED backlighing is the game changer Sony is claiming it to be.

Me too Bro🙂
@@joshuamoore2563 Are you happy with your a95l ?

I'm curious....what sound system were they using?
Hands on but the only hands I've seen is the touch of the back panel, we need more than that and more than one static image
First nail in coffin for OLED, at least for Sony, and then.....? Remember when first high performance lcd QLED sets rivaled Plasma sets? Plasma going away, no way!
Although I live with social security payments and almost homeless I must confess that this television is one of the most exciting TVs of 2024. I want to see what competitors will do to match the Mini LED zones of the new Sony Bravia 9. As always, great content!
How many inches is the television shown in the video?
I was hoping MIni LED sets were going to be cheaper than OLED, but this certainly doesn't seem to be the case given the cost of the Bravia 9. I'd like to see a side by side comparison with LG's 2024 QNED90T.
WOW 👑SONY GOD FOREVER ✌️#1 👑
Is this superior to Sony's OLED models?
i really enjoy your home tech reviews. Thanks!
hard to say before we run tests but the in-house drivers certainly seem convincing! but also important to differentiate between Sony OLED and Sony QD-OLED like the A95L.

Love 💕 Sony!
Honestly those blacks look almost as good as oled
How will it compare to Sony’s A95L OLED? I’ve currently got an LG C8 OLED thats been a great TV but it’s 6 years old and I’m looking to replace it in the autumn. The new LG G4 and Samsung S95D OLED’s are in a similar price range and I’ll consider them also. I want a new soundbar system as well and ideally I’d prefer the tv and soundbar to be the same make. Both the Sony and Samsung models though offer better integration between the TV speakers and their flagship soundbars and this could rule out LG for me. I’m still open minded though and haven’t ruled out any of these at this point. It seems some people fanatical about OLED and this BRAVIA 9 mini LED appears to have ruffled some feathers.
Nothing beats oled
Don’t buy the scamsung
The tv is horrible
I had one already die on me
Faulty defective power board.
Less than 1 month.
@@toorop111 I've had a Samsung 55 inch that's 13 years old and still looks great. Your mileage may vary. To denigrate the entire brand based on your own experience is dumb.

What is it with these companies last few years making rubbish stands on there sets? what's wrong with central swivel stands all of a sudden.
An up to date mini led vs an up to date oled.... OLED!!! There was just a super high crisp on oleds that nothing can match IMO. Especially because I’m a gamer. This would probably be better for anything else?
The Organic QD-OLED or the WRGB Oled Televisions are truly coming to an end very soon as possible because as the quality of Micro Leds Displays Technology which is truly better becomes more efficient and available 😀 it will be the ultimate goal choice for the best Technology Display presentation for digital images in Televisions 📺 Displays Technology sets for real!😂
It's the price for me
Is there a release date in canada?
Amazing tv,i think black level at night will be closest ever to oled tv✌️
This still remains to be seen. I don't think it's going to beat oled until micro led comes out which could be a few years yet.

Is it finally WiFi 6 and/or gigabit ethernet?

So the X95L ‘didn’t give Samsung QN95C a real run for its money’ what planet are you on 😂
The X95L was regarded by most TV experts as the best LCD Tv of last year.
just the same thing every other CZcams channel has said. still no actual hands on, only takes from the demo room at Sony.
$3300 is pricey for a 65-inch TV.😮
❤😂The obvious number one thing is true and honest review about the Electronics Technology of a television 📺 Display. The best 👌 Technology Display Technology to date is truly alive and very good to Displays digital images 😀 on 📸 a television 📺 Screen. @evronetwork 🤣OH I see ! Don't be dead serious in your life
Nope
The only reason id even concider a mini led over a qdoled is if it was 8k. Sony should have made the bravia 9 an 8k tv! Pretty sure this is going to be a flop at the stores. People will still rather have the A95L.
World renowned film restoration specialist Robert A Harris (also an expert on how movies should look in their best presentations) wrote on the Home Theater Forum site that 8k TVs offer no useful visual improvement at home compared to top quality 4k TVs. But after I mentioned to Mr Harris that a Best Buy salesman had told me that an 85" Samsung 8k TV would make the best 4k Blu-rays in our movie collection, such as "Oppenheimer", look sharper and more detailed than a top performing 85" 4k TV could make them look, Robert A Harris had quite an interesting (and even slightly amusing) rebuttal to that claim. As the response that Mr Harris wrote to me was that an 85" 8k TV could make a high quality 4k Blu-ray of a movie "look slightly more resolved than a high quality 85" 4k TV may make that 4k disc look, IF I placed my face 18 inches from the screen of the 85" 8k TV, which might also offer an added benefit of the screen warming my face a bit." So a basic point Mr Harris was making is that people simply won't tolerate sitting at the extremely close seating distance from an 8k TV that's required for even viewers with vision considerably better than 20/20 to be capable of seeing just a slight improvement with 8k over 4k. And since testing Warner Brothers conducted to determine the ability of moviegoers to notice a significant visual improvement in viewing native 8k scenes vs. 4k versions of the same scenes, revealed that even folks with vision considerably better than 20/20 would be needing to sit in row #1 or row #2 of today's stadium seating theaters, to notice ANY improvement with 8k vs 4k, Hollywood's studios have NO plans to push for the development & installation of extremely expensive 8k movie projectors for commercial movie theaters, since 99% of audience members just wouldn't see ANY difference between 8k & 4k. And that's ALSO why Hollywood studios simply WON'T go to the tremendous added expense of finishing movies in 8k resolution. Which explains why all of those electronics companies that make UHD 4k Blu-ray players have stated that they WON'T develop, manufacture, or market, any type of 8k disc player.
PLUS, the streaming services like NETFLIX & Amazon Prime just won't do ANY streaming of 8k programs since folks will never sit close enough to their TVs to see even a tiny improvement with 8k compared to genuine 4k! So executives at streaming companies are smart enough to know that using the extra bandwidth needed to stream 8k programming, plus the huge expense of shooting & finishing shows in 8k, are futile ideas which would offer ZERO gain for the companies!
oled still better black & contrast mini led brighter hdr
The Sony Electronics Television Displays Technology company is truly wasting time with the Mini LEDS Televisions Displays Technology right now. These companies should continue to improve their technology skills on the Micro Leds Displays Technology for better quality digital images in the Televisions 📺 Displays!
And the video is not hands-on because it’s a TV just sitting there and you’re not showing anything
Wow, this video this lady only talks about it’s brightness and brightness and brightness again and a brightness and the mini LEDs get bright and Sony says it’s the brightest TV ever OK why don’t you take that static screen off of there and show some content Don’t stand in front of TV and don’t show nothing
Didn’t we learn the lessons of the Z9D? Brighter and brighter isn’t as important as pixel level control. That’s why OLED took over the high end of the market. True black. No blooming. Perfect gradations. I don’t need a tv that requires sunglasses.
Having a lot of light in reserve does not mean burning your eyes like the reflection of snow in the sun.
It is a power reserve that allows power to be sent where it is needed, to have a luminous result that is close to natural as in real life in terms of uniformity, contrast, etc.
I have had an Oled (Sony A8H) for 4 years, before that an Oled Philips ambilight, it's a technology that I like, but I have a TV that does not go beyond 6-700 nits in a window from White to 10%, and that's not enough to open the image correctly. Films are mastered in 1000 nits, or even 3000 for some, when I find myself watching my film at times it's too dark. another problem with this is that to have its 6-700 I have to push my brightness all the way up, and the television ends up having a backlight that flickers a little, lacks uniformity because you push the machine thoroughly to get an approximately correct result, this also has an impact on the colors.
It's not because my car does 3 Sec. from 0 to 100 I have to drive at full speed lol
If manufacturers want more brightness on their Oleds and QD OLEDs, it's not for nothing. Samsung with its S95D (which I recommend) has managed to go up to around 1600 nits, that's already a huge number, but when we see TCL which goes up to 3000 nits on its next model, here Sony is going above 2000 it seems to me seems, OLED will always have a big delay.
OLED is actually on its way out. The best MiniLEDs as good or better as the best OLEDs for the majority of things. Only times OLED still has an advantage is with starry night skies and watching dark movies in a dark room, that's it.
That said, the big flaw of OLED is just the tech itself. Pushing brightness on them is hard and burn in is still a major issue for people who don't like to baby their TV's. If you have it on all day, brightness at full blast and keep it up for a few years, it will burn in. Meanwhile, tech is on the rise that has all of OLEDs benefits and none of its downsides. This why several major brands have slowly started moving away from OLED. I suspect that a decade from now almost no on will still be making them.
@@Outkaz745 fair points all. I still think for much content in a light controlled room, I’d take the precision of OLED over absolute brightness (fair point about headroom to direct brightness where needed). I’ll reserve judgement until I see the Bravia 9 in action.
@@thenonexistinghero perhaps. But dark content in a dark room pretty much describes the ideal viewing environment and a large percentage of content.
@@thenonexistingheroOled has other advantages too. The Bravia 9 is still an LCD TV. That means its pixel response time is not as good as Oled. Same with Viewing Angle.
No. Not in the market for any tv.
I definitely have seriously researched the better Television Displays Technology which is Micro Leds Televisions Displays Technology very much deeply colorful digital images than any LCD Leds Displays Televisions Technology that uses a backlighting system and shutters materials to block 🚫 out sum of the Leds Displays lighting system which is obviously called local dimming that is truly foolishness where the better Television Displays Technology stands 🧍♂️ firm for sure.
