It still baffles me that some people still think that Peach might be Bowser Jr's mom, even though it was pretty clear that Bowser was lying in order to get Jr. to help him kidnap Peach.
It make's no sense since bowser jr is very clearly fully Koopa and not half human. It makes no sense that he even believed Bowser in the first place.

Let's not forget Super Mario Sunshine didn't have great voice acting; Peach sounded tired and Bowser had the personality of a sitcom father.
Plus, Miyamoto already confirmed he, himself, is Jr's mother. Despite how incredibly dumb that is, Miyamoto could have easily solved this question if he just simply stated *"Bowser Jr was delivered by the Stork"* BOOM! Problem solved and the Yoshi's Island games gets more canonical recognition.

When you Google the boos history you find out that they used to be a female character named Theresa and her ghost just split up into multiple ghosts. However, she never gets mentioned. Who is she?
Looygi Bros explained the boo laugh. When you are near the mansion, the music changes from exterior music to interior music. If the boo laugh triggers at the same frame, then it will slow down a bit, that's the creepy laugh.

First off king boo is not in Mario 64, he first appeared in luigi's mansion. The boo in mario 64 is called big boo. Second I always just thought that the boos were just there own species. Next it is stated in Mario 64 by one of the toads or a sign I forget that the worlds in the picture was created by bowser. Next boundary break did in episode of Mario power tennis where he shows what luigi saw under shy guy's mask when it fell off and it was nothing it was just a black void. Lastly I bowser could reproduce asexualy because bowser jr looks exactly like his father when he was a baby.
The Koopalings are probably adopted. Also the ghost peach in the middle is from a fangame. I feel like a horror fangame and Creepypastas shouldn’t count

@@Ibalistic_hedge That's not how that works... Bowser adopting the koopalings does not mean that Bowser Jr (who literally looks like Bowser did as a kid) is also adopted. We just don't know who the mom is. Having a biological kid and also having adopted kids are not mutually exclusive. :/
ET-Pyramid: I never actually noticed this ET bit lol, but the pyramids being build by aliens is a common theory in reality. If anything, it was playing off of that (which means it's totally possible that aliens DID build the pyramid in SM64).
Goop Map Ghost - Probably just the artist having fun lol
Boo's Mansion Laugh - It's an audio glitch. The Boo's laugh itself is a sped up version of a laugh clip (when slowed down, it's Bowser's laugh). The game is just playing the speed wrong. Looygi Bros covered this topic, it's the game switching between music on the same frame the laugh is played.
Who are Boos? - The Boos are just intended to be as they are with no real backstory to them. Even when other characters "die", they just respawn or die as they are, like in Luigi's Mansion. Boos merging together is the character Boolossus.
Unused bugs - Likely just placeholders. Definitely not the most unusual unused assets, tbh. There was one that took dataminers a decade to figure out its purpose.
Jolly Roger Bay ship - The area itself is named after the Jolly Roger, which is a name given to ships flying the black skull-and-crossbones flag. While there's no backstory confirmed to the ship, it's really more of a reference.
"I just want to die" - It's a funnily-mixed audio clip :P
Shy Guy - While we never see Shy Guy itself, there are two things to point out here.
- In regards to Mario Power Tennis, Shesez of Boundary Break takes the camera around Shy Guy to see what Luigi sees. All it is is the strap just looping around, there's no face or hole at all. Obviously, this is because we weren't meant to see the front anyway.
- The Shy Guy-esque enemies in Luigi's Mansion have glowing eyes when you suck off their masks.
Peach's prison in SM64 - I always thought this even as a kid myself lol
Various ghosts - Just random Easter Eggs to improve the theme of the levels, but yeah, no explanations lore-wise for these guys.
Koopalings relationship - I'm curious to know exactly where you heard Bowser was their uncle. I'm not finding a reference for that. Bowser Jr.'s mother is Shigeru Miyamoto (that's canon).

1. Rosalina's hair. There's a pretty intense fan theory as to why it covers one of her eyes
2. A pseudo-"wrong warp" in Super Mario Galaxy 2 caused by a long jump bonk onto the Warp Pad on Starship Mario, which sends you up to Captain Toad if done properly

Shy Guys were originally created from a Nightmare Machine in Mario 2/Doki Doki Panic, so that's a very spot on assumption.

My personal headcanon for the Koopalings are that they are mercenaries of a similar sub-species of Koopa as the Bowser family, and they over time became so accquainted with the Bowser family they began working for them on the regular.
That is pretty much legit, just Miyamoto doesn't want to fully commit to that concept for whatever reason.

Morton's even canonically a Jr.! That's essentially confirmation the Bowser family isn't the only lineage of Koopas that look the way they do.
@@NeonWasInUse Yep, this is proof that there's 2 factions of Koopas; the ones that look like Bowser (Koopas Kids from Mario Party) and the species base on the Koopalings. Obviously, Bowser's faction is the hierarchy among the Koopas.

for the boo's its actually a single voice sample thats sped up, and the lower version is just a glitch causing it to sound lower then normal. the giggle is also bowsers laugh if its lowered enough.
another small fun fact is its actually charles martinet's voice from a free voice sampler. and this was BEFORE he became the voice of mario. so its an ironic twist the first official nintendo character charles martinet ever voiced was actually boo, then bowser, THEN mario.
also for shy guy, luigi's actions does give us a BIG hint, in that whatever it was, its more "surprising" then scary. as luigi is known for outright panicking in the face of ghosts or other scary things. another thing to notice, is that the black stuff in their eyes and mouths are inside their bodies, and aren't part of the mask, shown when the mask is dropped. so theres really only one deduction: shy guys do not have faces. its either completely empty, or a literal black void inside.

The original Mario 64 doesn’t have a king boo, only big boos, and the reason there’s multiple is probably because big boos are a sub-species of the regular boos, it would explain why there so many of them, too.

I've seen a theory that the Shy Guys are actually Magikoopas that were somehow deformed or mutated by their magic, perhaps during training, hence their similar robes.

I figured out that why in episode17 that ghost appeared. Because 17 means an unlucky number in Italy so that’s the reason why there is a ghost in episode17.
Can't speak for the other SMB2 guys, Shy Guys got "retroactively" introduced to the Mario canon in Yoshi's Island, so Mario must've been subcon(LOL)ciously remembering them, not imagining them.
