Useful tip: if you get them wet and then squeeze out most of the water making them only slightly damp the balls get extra poofy and the spring is greatly improved.

My brother used to do this trick to me when I was 7 and I begged him and cried for him to teach me. He never did. Now I’m 30
Even knowing how it is done, the skill to pull it off is awesome. No one actually think it's magic, but some incredible slight of hand. It's awesome to see close up magic.

Love the trick man! One thing - I bought the balls you posted a link too, and they're about twice as large as the ones in the video, so it's a bit more difficult to palm them. Great job!

It's both saddening and awesome to see magic tricks revealed so easily now because of the internet. Before it was always, "a magician never reveals his secrets!" But now I can just look it up!
Secrets have been revealed for thousands of years, basically every magician wrote magic books or gave away some information for a price. They still do, so don’t act like magic is being ruined just because some guy is giving away very simple tricks

Hope You Don't Mind, But The Thumb Should Not At Anytime Be Hiding Behind The Palm Of The Hand As It Makes It Look As If You Are Missing A Thumb And Creates A Hot Spot. During The Tutorial There Are A Couple Of Times Where Your Thumb Placement Is Perfect (Resting Along Side Of The Index Finger) Check It Out If You Like, Have Been Working With Sponge (Closeup) For More Years Than You Can Image, Just Thought I Would Mention It ..

Excellent tutorial. I want to learn how to do this again since my son is getting into magic at the same age I was interested. This reminds me of my amazement when the magician in the shop (Melbourne's excellent Bernard's Magic Shop) performed this very trick on me.

When I was a kid, a magician did this trick with me but he only had one ball and even after watching this I’m still not sure how he managed to get the single ball into my hand without me feeling it until I opened up my hand
