- This is one of my favorite runs in the Alpe D’Huez lift system, skiing down to Vllard Reculas. I filmed this with the GoPro hero max and just used the footage from one of the lenses. It gives a superwide angle and you can see the skis turning which is pretty cool.
New GoPro software to add data overlays.

ahhh feels so good to watch, almost like I'm actually skiing
Same bro
It's one of my favourite runs too. Particularly the end bit, where you come out of the traverse where you can let rip. Loved your carving turns.
Missing some good skiing this season!😥 Thank you for sharing!🙂
You and me both! :(

Hey man love your last name... we might be related 😂
Super! Interesting, how did you embed Garmin info into GoPro video?
Hey, I am having so many problems with the GoPro telemetry I have found a workaround.
1 .Get your original file and go on: goprotelemetryextractor.com/free/
2. You can use the free extractor then select the file VIRB edit
3. Go on the Garmin website and download the VIRB software it's loads better than the GoPro software.
3. There is a tab to import the data and it will show up with the speed ect
If you are giving it a go any have any problems let me know and I will see if I can help.
@@Alexskiing Hi, thanks for the explanation.👌 So, you did vice versa than I thought. You loaded GoPro info into Garmin software. It's useful to know for future. Now I use Sony XDR3000 and I plan to buy GoPro Max or Insta. I like Sony GPS format in videos but unfortunately it doesn't record altitude values into telemetry file at all. I understand that Sony did not record the values maybe because GPS altitude measurement has big error but in any case it would be interesting to know even approximate data.
@@happy_skier Let me know what you get! I do like how the data is displayed on your video's
@@Alexskiing, Sony cams produce 2 additional files .moff and .modd while recording video which contain extra info including GPS-info. Next it is very simple. If you have a Sony cam then you can download “Action Cam Movie Creator” which can embed info from these files into your video by choosing appropriate options. This application can add a music file to your video too, but it is of the initial level and not powerful and flexible, e.g. it has no special effects and only one track to compose a film.
Unfortunately, I think there could be problems to use these files with other software, I saw a note in internet that conversion to other formats is not possible. Though I have not investigated this issue deeply, maybe some tool is able to use these files as well.
Le Petit Prince a L’alpe Dhuez, followed by Villard Reculas 😅
Actually what difficulty has this run?
It's a blue
it was too short 🖐😁
Hello
Did this slope probably 500 times 😂😅
This is not fun. Pains me to watch this survival skiing on bad snow
