2009年10月生まれ。2歳からドラムを始め、4歳からライブ活動を開始し、5歳で家族バンド「かねあいよよか」を結成。幼稚園在籍中の6歳で1stCDを発売する。
ドラムのみならず、作詞作曲、ボーカル、ピアノも担当。
2018年、世界的な女性ドラマーのコンテスト『Hit Like A Girl』の18歳以下の部にて、最年少の8歳でウイークリーチャンピオンとなる。Led Zeppelinの『Good Times Bad Times』をカヴァー演奏した応募動画が、アメリカのNBC、NPR、ローリングストーン誌やビルボードで特集され、世界中に拡散。
Led Zeppelinのロバート・プラント、Red Hot Chili Peppersのチャド・スミス、シェリル・クロウ、KISSのジーンシモンズやエリック・シンガー、Sonic Youthのキム・ゴードン、Paramoreのヘイリー、サス・ジョーダン、トニー・ロイスターJr.などから称賛される。
国内でも、矢野顕子、佐藤竹善、ハマ・オカモト、亀田誠治、ピエール中野、LOUDNESSの二井原実らも驚きとともにSNSでよよかを紹介。
2018年は『RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL in EZO』に史上最年少出演を果たし、オリジナル曲のほかChar、奥田民生などをゲストに迎え、Led Zeppelinの『Good Times Bad Times』を演奏。
2019年には『サマーソニック東京』でマウンテンステージのトリ、Fall Out Boyのステージにサプライズ登場。彼らと共演し2万人の観客を沸かせた。
また、シンディ・ローパーからオファーを受け、日本ツアーの最終日、東京オーチャードホールでの公演でゲストドラマーとして2曲演奏し、シンディと共演を果たす。
国内でも2019年、亀田誠治主催の『日比谷音楽祭』に出演。ゴダイゴ、JUJU、KREVA、Reiらと共演。他にも「MUSIC FAIR」「TBS音楽の日」「題名のない音楽会」などに出演し三浦大知、倖田來未、大黒摩季、サンプラザ中野くん、ROLLY、本田雅人など多くのアーティストと共演を果たす。
また、Nike、Moncler、UNIQLOなど世界的ブランドのCMに抜擢。撮影はタイやニューヨークでも行われ、世界から大きな反響を得る。
2019年は1月と5月にロサンゼルスにて収録される『The Ellen Show（エレンの部屋）』に日本人としては異例となる2度の出演を果たし、Foo Fightersのデイヴ・グロールからもビデオコメントで賞賛を受けた。また、ロサンゼルスの老舗ライブハウス「Whisky A Go Go」にて海外初ライブを大盛況で終える。
2019年4月には、Newsweek日本版「世界が尊敬する日本人100人」に史上最年少で選出。
８歳でドラムメーカーのPearl、VIC FIRTHと史上世界最年少エンドース契約し、Zildjian、CYMPAD、DWともエンドース契約。
"Yoyoka"の衝撃は今も世界へ広がり続けている。

I am 98% sure he just did eighths with one hand in the common fashion. Good lawd, her long long whipstrokes into the crash cymbals are amazing!!! And her use of the ride bell during the choruses - with stroke timing just slightly sagged in the perfect classic rock fashion - is simply tasty and impeccable!!!

Forget that she's 10! She has more natural talent than most adult drummers with twice her years of experience. She is a talent to be reckoned with WORLDWIDE! Lots of Female Asian Drumers that are awesome, and she is among the best of not only those but ALL DRUMMERS (Male and Female) of any age!! GREAT JOB Yoyoka! Make sure you always keep the waving stick before and after, make it your trademark.

There are drummers who are technically great and then there is Yoyoka who oozes music from every fiber of her being!
The greatest thing about her videos is that they're not about "look how good I drum", that absolutely speaks for itself. It's about the spirit in this little firecracker, this dynamo and personal force to be reckoned with. She's not just another little girl ( although growing up before our eyes if you've paid attention like I have) that can drum. She has that amazing little thing about her personality that makes everyone fall in love with her and root for her. I watch at least one video of hers every day and I'm always appropriately humbled that I'm so inspired by this little force of nature...

The way she plsys these covers is remarkable in the fact that even though she is playing them exactly as the original somehow she makes them look and sound better even the Zeppelin songs which in my opinion I thought was impossible to make them sound better the John's original beats ect lol she is amazingly little bundle of cuteness

The front man usually gets most of the attention, prancing around singing and dancing. I just love to watch an energetic and enthusiastic drummer in the backline (I’m not even a drummer). Keith Moon was one of my favorites. Bonzo too. This girl is as incredibly entertaining to watch as well as listen to as they were.

it's the fact she always has a smile on her face. She is clearly loving every single second that she's playing the drums. WHILE keeping nearly perfect timing...
meanwhile the rest of the world is out here hating on her due to the fact the look like they passing a kidney stone, with the timing to match. its the fact they feel miserable drumming and here is yoyoka, messing around, keeping almost dead on timing, and and as a bonus we get to vicariously live through her as she rediscover the greats and we get to have that same joy again.
