This is 90% of my collection. I have more stuff in bags that I didn't want to pull out while holding the camera with 2 hands. I lost count after 30 pick sets, but its between 30 and 40 unique sets.
This is also my submission into "The Lock Picker 1969"s #lockpicktools700 giveaway. If I win, I will donate my winnings to @thatlockpickguy777 since he is just getting started and he could benefit from this giveaway.
Thanks for watching and keep collecting!

Dude! YOU. ARE. OUT. OF. CONTROL!! This is doomsday zombie apocalypse hoarding. I now visualize your “lock lab” as being more of a “lock bunker” made out of a buried storage container out in the middle of the woods. If China ever drops the big one on our heads, you’ll starve to death, but locks won’t stand a damn chance. I love it! I love how organized your things are. I just came across this video , and watched all the way through . There is so much I want to say here . I'm new to locksport and have been following your channel for about three months now . I listen not only to WHAT you are saying , but HOW you are saying it . I can hear it in your voice . I'm 66 years old , semi-retired , and live a very quiet life . Locksport has nicely filled a gap for me . As you have said , " Only get what you really need " . Thank you for sharing not only your tools, but your lab and collection! Quite awesome. You appear to be extremely organized like I consider myself. Love using the colored tape to indicate belt level. Awesome assortment of locks as well! Using the tool chest with drawers was a great touch! Would love to see a video on the covert instruments bag. Quite an extensive assortment of tools! Very impressive! Looks like we have quite a few complete sets in common. As much as I love LLT and liked the Renegade set, I had problems with the handles and the slots in them eating into the skin on my fingers on prolonged picking sessions. I have more Peterson's than I would care to admit to (multiple complete sets in different kits and variations). Enjoyed seeing the variety you have very much! Agree with you on using the HUK 8 piece set as a modification base for HS dimple locks. The piano wire tensioner you showed, you can also make similar tensioners using bicycle spokes. Have made a few that way and always have extra spokes on hand to make more when needed. Totally agree with you on the Multipick handles being too small, I had the same problem with them. Anyhow, thank you for sharing all of that and good luck in the giveaway!

Thank you very much for watching and thank you for the reply. Thank you for the advice on using bicycle spokes for piano wire turning tools, I’m definitely going to do that! Someone recently sent me true piano wire, but it just wasn’t big enough. I think bicycle spokes would be perfect.

You’re fine, lol. Very few people actually know of me right now. Because there’s not a whole lot of Lockpickers that stick around longer than three years. The challenge lock community is not the same group of people that it was five years ago, or 10 years ago, or 15 years ago. Also, over the last 15 years I have changed my nickname for various reasons, but Sandman was my original moniker for the first five years in this hobby. There are probably only 15 people that are still around from 15 years ago. That’s why I decided to make this CZcams channel. I’m a nobody at the end of the day, but I have enough experience to give a proper opinion where its needed. I have been here this entire time for these 15 years, but I don’t participate in online forums or Facebook groups very much. I never stopped collecting, so I only stuck around in group settings for the purposes of purchasing or buying or collecting. Thanks for watching!

The system has been in place since 2014 and grows every year with few changes. It’s worth a dive into it. Gives the hobby purposes thanks for watching!

Can you either do a video on how to put together a practice lock system in ranking order like you described? I would like to set my locks up like that. Would help me figure out where I actually am. I figure I am still at the bottom or close to it. Can consistently pick a couple of brinks high security locks, but still can’t pick a Masterlock 930 series or an American Lock 1100 series.

Google LPUbeltsdotcom. That will give you an idea of where you are at.

@@sandman_locksport do you have to pick all of the locks under each listing? How does that work? And I noticed that the Masterlock no. 19 isn't listed, even though for many years o n ly a handful of people ever successfully picked one.

Is there any way to purchase those Pad Locks that are in the color scheme of the LPU belt system? Or could you make a video on which locks you bought to make those and swapped out with which cylinders? I'm sure those would sell really well if LPU made those and sold for their ranking system.
Thanks - love all your videos! Keep it up

How do you like the lishi tools? I know they are good everyone loves them but are they worth the money? Haven't caved and bought one yet. Just got my riv-pick btw. Know it's off topic but so sick

I love my leash tools. But I bought up mine while they were on sale. I would say 50% I purchased from covert instruments when they were on sale. And the other 50% I bought from lockpics.com. Covert Instruments when they are on sale will beat everybody else’s prices by five dollars. They’re worth buying, but only on sale. I don’t think they’re worth more than 50 bucks each.
