Eggman has broken the world into seven parts, now the player must find the seven Chaos Emeralds to restore the world.
Sonic Advance 3 is a Sonic game with a twist: the player can play with a friend in co-op mode or one of many multi-player modes like ring race. The game contains features from Sonic Advance and Sonic Advance 2, but with more options like choosing from 2 characters in story mode (a leading and a following character).
This run is an improvement of 2 minutes over Dashjump's previous run (tasvideos.org/3030M.html). - Hry

To summarize Tails is the fastest, Sonic can fly, Knuckles can spin dash up walls, Amy can phase through walls, and Cream doesn't exist.

Cream has her uses, but according to Nitsuja, to say it's tough to optimize with her would be a massive understatement. Chaos Angel 2 any% is one of the few where she's useful, but sub 1 minute is incredibly hard even with TAS.
Cream is useful for a few of the earlier levels but since this run starts from no savedata, she isn't used at all.

I like how during the boss fight in Toy Kingdom Tails just kept throwing Sonic into the pits; I guess it's revenge after all of those Tails abuses he suffered in Sonic 2.

There were SO MANY gemstones of games in the GBA era, and i genuinely hope the Advance Trilogy returns to modern ports
Dashjump managed to make Sonic die *16 times* during the Toy Kingdom boss, along with 2 or 3 extra hits.
Well that's gotta be a little record itself, shouldn't it be?

Maaaaan I remember when getting the emeralds was a side-quest, not a requirement. RIP, good ol' days.
For whatever reason, I completely forgot Amy is used for Twinkle Snow Act 2, which is particularly embarrassing, as I stumbled across the glitch by pure chance on a *real cartridge.*
I could've sworn pressing up in those warp machines speeds up the process, or does that cause issues during Altar Emerald?
I truly miss this era of Sonic games. The ending theme never fails to make me tear up. 😢
Well sadly thanks to not only Nintendo being done making new game boy advance games but sega being done making more sonic games on gba we will never get a real sonic advance 4. It’s such a shame too.

it was quicker for him to die them manually fly/jump back up since sonic boost only works horizontally, he had no was to boost up and that waterfall climb is very slow and also cuts tails fly speed which is pretty slow for climbing to begin with; especially since he had no momentum

Its an ability you can do in the game. The ring counter is in the other side of it.
I almost watched the 1:09 speedrun, almost wasted 2 minutes!
Also at 1:09:02 "Here we go!", Sonic just put all the dirt on the girls.
Why couldn’t we have the option to skip the credits? It would’ve saved us a lot of time if we did.
