I'm quite sick of it myself. Most of CZcams has become gear talk and reviews, and I understand that is what gets people paid. There are a lot of out here hungry for content that has nothing to do with gear.

I resonate with this whole episode so much, especially with going with something smaller for every day life because the larger cameras made it feel like work.

Loved this episode! Here are my takes on this gear topic. 1) Always buy the camera body that you want to have, get the bigger, better, more expensive one, don't back down because of budget reasons. I think it is more important to have the right camera body rather than better glass. 2) Even if it costs money to switch systems, I think we are too much thinking about the costs of it rather than a feeling during shooting. Get the other system, get that extra lens, if you don't like it, sell it again. See it like a vacation, you have the camera for a while and pay for its use. Especially when you are a professional.

Recently went to a conference and Estaban Gil was talking about his griii workflow for cocktail hours and happy snaps. Peaked my interest as I love 28mm. I had been looking into the Q after loving my MP240/M6 usage. The x100 just wasn’t my focal length. Between the Q and griii, I am happy I started with the Ricoh. Also the HDF is definitely for the tones and I absolutely love it. When the light hits, it’s money. Great show! Cheers my guys.

I hate phone photography sooooooo much I will purposely take the worst photo I can for anyone who asks me to do it. So I’m never asked again from those god awful devices!
The person sh**ing all over 35mm is annoying AF and is just wrong when saying that street photography is only about the one subject and what is in the background doesn't matter. A lot of street photography is about all of the environment and main subject together in wider context.
