I'm currently doing your course, and it's awesome! Yesterday I was able to speak to the pharmasist and tell her what I need. Thank you for the tips, sometimese I watch your YT videos to get more motivation, and it helps! Back to the course now.
That is amazing! 🤩👏 Congratulations on your progress and thank you so much for your feedback.
Wishing you all the best in your Portuguese learning journey! 🥰
Thank you! I'm American, trying to learn German, and I find your tips to be very helpful!
Great tips and suggestions. Obrigadissimo pessoal.
Thank you for watching! We are so happy to know you enjoyed it 🤗
You both are so kind and helpful. This video has a lot of wonderful tips. Thank you!
Glad you found it helpful! 💖
Well presented video but I found the background music distracting and not necessary. Not intended to be hurtful !!
EXCELLENT video! This should be required watching prior to learning a language. As an older learner, I tend to be very methodically/systematic on how I learn things. I’ve taken Latin in high school, a couple semesters of Spanish in college. Both have helped with grammar. I have signed up for “The Journey” and looking for to learning Portuguese. My daughter, who is learning French in high school, has encouraged me to practice phrases with the family so they may learn Portuguese, too.
Thanks for sharing! And thanks for the positive feedback as well as for joint The Journey. Bem-vindo! 🤗 I think your daughter has given you a great idea as it will give you the chance to practice and consolidate some more what you’ll be learning on the course 😀
Thanks!
Muito obrigada!!! 🥰
So Carla, are yous paying your aren't English? OMG if You are native Portuguese and learned In English later in the UK I am beyond amazing. Muito muito Marvilhoso!!!!!!!
That's right! We are both native Portuguese and only learned English in the UK.
You can do the same! After all, it's the natural way to learn. 😉
Muito obrigada pelas suas palavras 🤗
Bom dia minha lindos. Obrigado por esse filme!
Bom dia! 🥰 Obrigada por assistir
Personally, I'm tired of the why. I'm learning E. Portuguese and my friend ask "why" too many times in my opinion about why is the E dropped? Why this? Why that? I don't know why and I do not care to know why, I just need to speak. My overall thought is just learn it. Ask why later when/if you're so inclined. And Carla is right, when children are learning to speak they're not asking why. They just take it in and copy it. We need to be more accepting like children when learning a new language.
I do understand why your friend FEELS the need to ask “why”, but as we said and you say, there isn’t much point to it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 😊
In regards to the silent “e”, it’s interesting that that happens in English too and I’ve never heard anyone comment on it. Examples: love, take, times, Portuguese… 😀
