2024 OSKCS Round 2 - LO206 Sr. FINAL

FINAL for LO206 Sr. at Round 2 of the 2024 OSKCS Season held on 4/28/24
Well after my crash in Heat 2, my axle was badly bent and I don't have a spare. On a kart, both rear wheels, the brake and the sprocket are fixed to the rear axle. A bent axle means that each time the axle rotates it raises and lowers the kart on the side that is bent. This causes a ton of drag, slowing you down as well as makes everything vibrate a ton while driving. I knew I was not going to be able to hang with the front runners but I thought I might still have a chance at the podium if I could stay ahead of the pack at the start.
Overall, the race went as well as it could have. It was a lonely boring race for me as the two drivers in 1st and 2nd pulled away from me and I was never challenged from the rear. That said, I ended up securing 3rd place and my first podium of the 2024 season!

Thanks! That data is all coming from the Mychron5 dash mounted on my steering wheel. I use a program called "Telemetry Overlay" to import the video and Mychron data, sync them up and create the gauges.
