    I had No idea "Hoover" was that well known in Europe! We just call them "vacuums" here in the USA. Just so you know most Americans do not call recip saws "Sawzall's". Some do but its a old term. Mostly because back in the 1951 in The USA, Milwaukee Power Tools (back when they were a USA company) Invented the reciprocating saw! They called the "Sawzall". It was better than other brands for several years too. So lots of old guys call them "Sawzalls" (Hand me that Sawzall! ) Most people just call them recip saws anymore tho. I'm 54 and I've heard both, but I always say "Recip saw"

      Hoover, Sellotape, Biro, Post-It Notes etc etc are all terms used here in the UK where the trademark name has become the generic name for items. I googled it, apparently the name for it is ‘genericized trademark’. It’s funny watching all the pedantic snobby idiots commenting in tears because someone called a vacuum a Hoover 😂

      Oh hi Daniel I did have a problem with my vacuum a while ago when it stopped sucking and it was the Little white impeller sort of thing that sits under the filter cartridge in the main body of the vacuum, it was all sort of blocked up with dirt and hair and was stopping all the suction,might be that? As soon as I cleaned out this little impeller thing my vacuum worked again,please get back to me if I can help any other way 🤟🤟

    I have all my 18v system with erbauer , but I definitely like this product. Shall I?
    - Wait for Erbauer to release a similar product?
    - Use one 18v battery adaptor such as thisone?

    • @UKTOOLTALK
      @UKTOOLTALK  Před 3 lety

      Oh hi Mark thanks for reaching out and I hope you are well, mmmmm great question dude!, the answer is I don't know but I'll definitely look into it, I can totally see that a longer hose is needed for attachment to a power tool, with me being just a lowly plumber who just uses it for hoovering up little bits of crap iv never thought about needing a longer hose, buuuuut what I have found is the hose that comes with the vacuum kinda gets blocked easily so I'm trying to find a slightly larger diameter hose with a smoother inside somehow, that might be hard because of the concertina way it works, hey you know what's funny I'm just doing another modification on my vacuum to make it better in wet mode, video coming soon, hope you get to watch part 2 of the vacuum review which is up on my channel and part 3 coming soon, anything I find out about extra hoses I'll get back to you about it, have a good weekend sir 🤘

      Good evening sir, well then the plot thicken"s!, my vacuum doesn't seem to have a float valve unless I'm mistaken, when I'm sucking up water I usually take out the filter, I think that's best, oh check this out! If youve been sucking up fine dust and want to clean the filter what I do it swap the hose onto the blowing function and it blasts out all the dust from the filter really well (do this outside dude it causes allot of dust to blow about, folks will probably think your vaping!!!) this is Also good for getting all the dust out of the flexi bits on the hose!! They need a small tap so you can drain off the liquid as you are vacuuming. Once the water level hits the hepa filter you lose vacuum suction

    Been thinking about buying one of these for the house and car mostly. I'm working with a kitchen and bathroom fitter but to be honest the Henry hoover we have is amazing so would probably just buy the Makita for the house and car only. Can't say I'm all that impressed with the suction so not sure I'll bother with it! Although the blow function is making me tempted to go for it. Would be handy for the small crevices in the car!
