United Kingdom
Registrace 1. 04. 2020
Hello and welcome to uk tool talk, I love all aspects of powertools ie reviewing them! Testing them! Fixing them! Dismantling them and even altering them, iv been in the building trade as a plumber for 38 years so and I’d like to think iv got Allot of knowledge about powertools ( especially makita!) Iv picked up over the years, yes you heard it I’m the biggest makita super fan boy in the uk so if it’s makita content your after uk tool talk is the place to be!, second only world wide to the mighty tools and stuff from New Zealand, what’s on my channel, well since my channel is very small at the moment I only have limited resources to get hold of the latest tools to review but I try ( if it’s makita and not mega expensive it’s all good) here’s my pitch!! With my channel you will get honesty! You will get an in depth review and testing and opinion of said tool and more importantly to me you will get a giggle and bants and querky ness
The makita level!! It’s a rare one!!!
Just a quicky about a rare makita product the makita tri level #powertools #diy #tools #makitapowertools

TROUBLE AT THE MILL SPECIAL!! My xgt drill keeps slipping out of gear!!! What to do?
Proper mad. A beaut
My work colleague bought us all Makita safety glasses for the angle grinder 😎🤗
Good show 🤟🤟
Thanks for showing us that level. Can’t say I have ever seen one before.
Cheers Harlan hope all is good with you 🤟🤟
Love this…I need one

6:35 Pretty impressive at your age, and that little drip's only to be expected. 🤭🤟
Why did you decide to change the channel name? ✌️🍻
Oooooo great question I love it!!, at the time I thought mmmm I’m getting a bit fed up of Jon’s random reviews for some reason so I thought a change is as good as a rest soooo I kinda got sucked into this idea that If I rebranded and stopped the swearing I’d boost my subs and comments and it would be good for my fragile mental health!!! Ooooooo was I wrong!!! Now uk tool talk has under half of its growth and comments and I’m kinda over it, initially I was I little bit excited about my other channel “Jon’s random world” but I find I’m not interested in that as well grrrrrrrrr well that was a right royal fuck up!!! Oh well you live and learn thanks for reaching out sir 🤟🤟
Witam!Jak sciagles te wiedelki z walka?Musisłes grzać?U mnie też się urwaly
Good job there my ol mucker 👍
Who gives a fuck about them ??
Can't wait to share this with some Milwaukee fan friends of mine! Brilliant 😂👍
😮 great project!! please show how you watertight it?
Excellent 👌
I want one
Could you tell me how did you remove actually that head whitch hold blade?
Is there a reason why you didn’t do the festool sustainers?
Hi friend good question, I don’t know anyone with any festool boxes I’m afraid so I couldn’t do a comparison, iv heard the festool boxes have better latches on them, thanks for reaching out 🤟🤟
Not the best title you could of used , a full dismantle and a bench already full of bits are not the same thing ☹
Thanks for watching and commenting sir 🤟🤟
Are you on FB?
Errrr yes a little bit! Why?
I love my cxt multitool the way it is. Its all about buying quality blades.
More Frankenstein tools please, Jon! Fine line between genius and madness, and this man is doing backwards somersaults along it. 😎 Thanks to Harriet for ably upholding mum's excellent videography.
You seem drunk to me, but I like the concept of smaller and more powerful.
Brilliant!
I love this tool hacking experiment :) Also it proves that he's honest, not bought and paid for by the manufacturers. Neither Makita or Milwaukee would approve of this 😅
I'd like to see how they compare to the Bosch 12v multi-tool
They are putting more development into CXT now... so they tell me... time will tell...
That’s is what I heard too from this tool review guy I usually watch on Fridays.
@patbird9694 Not this Friday I'm afraid.
The Milwaukee M12 is the best multitool
As Jesus once said, -'Pass me that hammer'
Well it is hammer time always 😉
You’re comparing different tools. Would’ve been nice to see a real comparison between two thumb cutters. A close cutter is always going to win in speed because it’s made for a specific size .
Well said sir 🤟🤟
Should have invited Harrison Ford, he's actually worked as a carpenter. What does Walken know about tools? I like him on screen but he obviously has to hire someone to hang shelves for all his awards. Also, tell him to stop attempting that awful fake English voice; you can still clearly hear his genuine New York accent, not fooling anyone.
cheers
Look after them and the brushless grinders are brilliant , ALWAYS , always replace the filter gause they're there for a reason 👍
What happened......
Basically the filter gause panel fell of and was lost and wasn't replaced , it sucked dust in and the dust killed it !
🥇🔝👍🏼
What are the outside dimensions of the tool box ?
Been looking at these but £160 body only 🤔
Mmmmmm not cheap in fact very expensive for what it is, I sold mine about a year ago!!!
Why have they feel the need to add something "gratos" price your things correct
Maybe it the bits tight because the DTD173 is Japanese market and they have a slightly diffetent chuck 🤔 As a tradie it's a no from me , i don't even use combi drills for masonry i always use SDS
Mmmmmm iv heard Japanese chucks have different tolerances but iv never had any issues,it was miles out of size and took allot of grinding to fix it, just a one of bad casting I suppose 🤟🤟
@UKTOOLTALK I think it's more to do with where the Groove is on the but for it locking into place but you never know
Is that the 13/16” or 1 1/8” rotary drill?
Thanks for the video very informative. I have all Makita tools myself and we’re looking at this box system and I think I’m gonna head and buy it.
Sorry for the late reply, yes macpak has its faults but they are ok as long as your gentle with them iv had mine for years and they are all good, cheers my friend 🤟🤟
00:27 Aaw! Spider friend! ☺️🕷️ I've never owned a recip, only ever handled one once I think, never felt really necessary but maybe handy occasionally, especially as you say for breaking down / demo, so decent cheaper blades make sense for my expected use. Talking with a workmate today, he's replacing most of his soil stack at home and intends to cut the old iron pipe with a recip, sounds like loads of fun to me. Looks like Makita could be getting some more of my pennies.
if you do alot of demo they are great.
@worstuserever Go for the more expensive thicker blades that don't bend , we use Lenox and the last a long time
Just by hearing the name, you know that this series of products is definitely for export. Because as a chixx DIYer, their local net mall is flooded with low-quality ODMs. If you don't know the tools and don't want to be cheated, you can only be forced to choose local OEMs such as Makita and Bosch. It's quite pitiful!
Products of export quality will be suppressed by inferior products in chixx's local net mall without any chance of fighting back. They would rather ask people to buy maliciously and deliberately give bad reviews, extort, spend a lot of money on keyword rankings, and will not invest 1 penny in improving product quality control. Anyway, people stupxx, Super low price, coming soon harry up Internal strife and plunder hot money.
Iv always been a bit wary if tool accessories from a company iv never heard of but after testing some of this company’s stuff Iv got to say they are really good, I thought about importing some of moretop tools in bulk to the uk and selling them on!, I could sell there blades for half the amount other company’s sell there blades and still make a profit buuut I’d have to but 500!! Its a shame you can’t buy them individually in the uk because I think with the correct price point they could sell plus I was impressed with moretop tools website and company ethos and strategy and rainer seems like a nice chap, thank so much for commenting sir 🤟🤟
@@Green4Life Buying O.E.M for some things is a must especially batteries but for consumables it's not always so . HSS drill bits is one of the things you're taking a risk with as theres lots of cheap HSS drill bits out there made of chocolate. I've spoken to other trades people about drilling wall and floor tiles and some swear by the dimond drills . . . . . but they take forever to drill one hole , i bought the pointed cheap ones off Amazon and on hard tiles the only last a couple of holes and burn out BUT if when drilling you trickle water on them ( i use a cheap syringe ) they cut quick and last a while . Theres losts of things like this like i use Saxton blades in my cirular saw and plunge saw , they're £13 a blade and although they may not cut as clean or stay as sharpe as Diablo , frued or even makita efficut blades at £40-50 , it doesnt matter when i'm cutting MDF/chipboard or for worktops as i'll pop in a new blade if i'm not happy with the test cut . Multi tool blades are also the same for me , i'll buy cheap as once you hit concrete or a nail they're fubar anyway .
@@jompy151 I agree with your point. but unfortunately, even I spend a lot of time and energy to understand some product, I can't guarantee that what I buy in a certain country is genuine. And a certain country has a mechanism that does not exist in ordinary countries, regional authorization manufacturing and designated sales. In other words, after paying the brand usage fee, they can make products according to their hubby and sell them only in a certain country. I call it, tragic localization.
@Green4Life Which is why for things like makita batteries i will only buy from legit makita dealers which is easier in the UK than some other countries 👍
They pretty useful , i have one to help when cutting out door ways in walls , beats stitch drilling and quicker ( but i do stitch drill to get a starting point . Also slower but a lot less dusty than a grinder . Edit They also cut deeper than an angle grinder . Been using the Lennox thicker recip blades for years , expensive but the last me a hell of a long time and don't bend
Cheers for that my friend some good points there!!, email me your address at nixonator508@gmail.com and I’ll send you one to test yourself 🤟🤟
@UKTOOLTALK Cheers for that Jon but i'd feel guilty taking one off you as i already have one , i hardly use it due to the fact that we dont cut doorways out very often and the company will replace mine . How about putting a couple of things together and giving them to someone that may need them or uses them regularly and can give you a review ?
I just got a pair of 6ah's last week £144.40 for the pair , how much did you pay ? you got the BTC04 battery checker yet ?
Oooo that’s a good price for 2!! I didn’t dare ask how much the one 6ah was!! Probably about £85ish, I wouldn’t mind one of those battery checkers at some point but it’s so expensive and it’s not on the top of my list of stuff to buy, cheers dude 🤟🤟
I got my battery checker from Ebay for £180 delivered . Yeah the price was great , I'd looked at prices from the local supplier and they wanted £70 for a 5ah not Inc vat 😮
That’s a good price for the battery checker!!, the hardware store which has an account with our firm is a bit pricey but it saves the hassle of buying one online and then getting the money back of my boss 🤟🤟
dude!!! its not stuck! your suppose to press down the back button. that unlock the round thing that holds the blade in. If you only read the manual before starting..
Hi my friend errr thanks for commenting I can’t remember what I did or didn’t do I’m afraid buuut I don’t really get where your coming from please explain some more please 🤟🤟
Can this drill work in reverse?
Oooooo great question I don’t think so but I’ll check and get back to you 🤟🤟
This Tool just similar like Makita DSD180 plaster ceiling cutter
Errrr yeeees kinda, it does allot smoother cut tho and less dust 🤟🤟
I suppose it can fit in slightly narrower spaces, and you only need to bring one tool, but I can't see either of those being much of an advantage. Are there any drilling jobs or materials to which an impact driver is better suited? There must be some kind of market if manufacturers bother offering drill bits to fit IDs. 🤷♂️
Grand
🥊🔝
Looks like an interesting drill bit. I wouldn't buy one just in case it got stuck in my impact's chuck. Shame really. I thought Armeg were better than that.
Might be related to his Makita impact td173, which has the Japanese predominant chuck. Japanese chucks are uncommon in Armeg's target market and they have different specs than what armeg targets. It could still be a one-off. Personally, what I have noticed with non-japanese bits on japanene impact chucks made by Makita is that the non-japanese bit wobbles back and forth a bit more than on other tools. Also I have read comments by allegedly Makita EU repair technicians that the bit sticking to japanese chucks is common
First like😊
Cheers my friend I appreciate it 🤟🤟
🥇 feel better now?
