Honest and thorough refutation of Calvinism. We need more men like him these days preaching the pure, uncorrupted Gospel of Jesus Christ to restore proper understanding of certain passages of Scripture that have been hijacked by Calvinists.

When you hear people singing this song you know who their lord is.
"Jesus loves me, this I know.
As for you, I don't think so.
Only some to Him belong. We are right and you are wrong.
      Yes, Jesus loves me!
      Yes, Jesus loves me!
      Yes, Jesus loves me!
But I hope this isn't effervescent grace that I'm walking in and instead I'm actually deceived and one of the reprobates that He created to burn as a candle for His glory in Hell forever."
The verdict to those who preach this Heresy!
This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. Deuteronomy 30: 19-20
Proverbs 1 : 23 Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings. 24 But since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand, 25 since you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke, 26 I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you-

@@alvinhickling901 Very good point! I totally understand what you are saying!
Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad-in order that God’s purpose in election might stand: 12not by works but by him who calls-she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” 13Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” Romans 9: 11-13
NOTE "Just as it is written!" Well where is it written? It is written in Genesis 25: 23!
The Lord said to her, (Rebekah)
“Two nations are in your womb,
      and two peoples from within you will be separated;
one people will be stronger than the other,
and the older will serve the younger.”
It was talking about nations not individuals! In there lives the older DID NOT serve the younger. But the Nations did!
When the Bible referred to Esau and Jacob it was referring to THE NATIONS THEY REPRESENTED NOT THE INDIVIDUALS. But I know your John Calvin training will not allow you to see that.
This is a classic example where the Calvinist mind has been trained by their cult leaders to NEVER let themselves be cornered with context! Context is the enemy of Calvinism. So in this case they are ordered to stop the verse before you get to the "AS IT IS WRITTEN" part, or this so called proof text supporting Calvinism evaporates.

      @truth7416 Před rokem +15

@@alvinhickling901 Calvinists believe god created all things, and controls all things, predetermined all things,
and made all things exactly the way they are.... thus god also created evil.
therefore since calvinists believe god created evil.
they are blaspheming against the holy spirit ... the only unforgivable sin.
calvinists also believe the only people who will be saved have been predetermined by god.
and since calvinists believe god predetermined who will be saved ... they have removed free will - the gift of god to humans, and removed jesus from the equation.
since god (according to calvinists) has already determined who will be saved ... (and who will not be saved) ... those who will be saved do not need christ and those who will not be saved cannot come to christ.
      thus calvinists are not christians.
Can a person be saved trusting in something other than Christ Jesus? NO! They are trusting in the hope of election not Christ!
Is it possible to be in a reformed church and be saved. Yes but that is in spite of the heresy. They must have put their faith in Christ separately from what is taught. Just like those in the Catholic Cult. There could be baby christians that have no clue what they are sitting under. If they wake up and listen to the Holy Spirit they would run out of the Hive screaming!
Calvinism is NOT just another Christian denomination. It is a Cult. A doctrine of demons. Strangely how those in it, defend it to their deaths. That is how Satan, not God blinds them to the truth. But that is their God given right of free will, to do so.

It’s specifically the false doctrine of double predestination and denial of human free will that turns God into the author of sin and a morally objectionable Creator, who gives the damned no free will choice whatsoever and allows them to go to hell for eternity. That’s neither biblical nor historic Christianity, and it is morally contemptible.

Calvinism is just another false gospel that we are warned about in Galatians. It's heretical and it preaches a god that is NOT the God of the Bible. How hard is it to understand that "God wishes NONE to perish but ALL to come to repentance"? 2 Peter 3:9 or "...WHOSOEVER believes in Jesus..."John 3:16 or "Jesus is the propitiation (payment)for our (the saved) sins: and not for ours (the saved) only, but also for the sins of the WHOLE world." That doesn't sound like only the elect to me.

God is sovereign… what does sovereign mean? Does God give up his will and yield to man’s? No! Man by nature loves darkness, and as such we would never choose Christ. However, by God giving us the Holy Spirit and giving us the ability to “hear” and “see” the good news, then and only then can we know him, and believe in him. No man seeks for God. It is very clear. May we give God all credit for salvation, and May we boast in him because he first loved us. Without his great love, we could not love him. Praise God.

Confusion is the only word that is appropriate to summarize this message. How can the All powerful Good want all of mankind to be saved, yet some men will harden their own hearts and reject Salvation. Will someone from this ministry respond to the following question. Is the will of mankind more powerful than the Sovereign will of God concerning salvation?

    • @TheMrboombostic
      @TheMrboombostic Před 5 lety +7

Jason Manchester it is the result of free will. If everything ideal and perfect as Christ, then there would be absolutely no need for a savior.
Yes, the methods & ways of the Lord are impossible to fathom let alone understand. For me, I try not to get too hung up on thoughts such as “if God is so loving, how come he always so much evil to exist”?
The best answer I have heard to this question is that a world without hardships & heartache would lead to us viewing ourselves as gods. Think about it. If there’s was never anything negative experienced in our lives-would be be humble to do kind things for others? Would we have soft hearts our fellow men and/or God? The answer is no. There would be no need or want for any outside help. The world needs evil to exist so that humans can show, by example, the love of God.
I hope I was able to relate this in a way that can be comprehended. I have a brain injury & am always working to convey my thoughts in an understandable way.

My God is powerful enough to remain fully sovereign (in control) while at the same time granting full autonomous libertarian free will to His creation. Is yours? The true gospel of Christ is this, God loves all, God died for all, God calls all, God seeks to save all, God promises all can believe and be saved and God commands all to repent and believe. To preach anything contrary is to preach a false gospel.
      2 Corinthians 5:14-15, 19
"14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for ALL, then ALL died; 15 and He died FOR ALL, that those who live should live no loner for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again...19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the WORLD to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation."1
      Timothy 2:3-6
“3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for All, to be testified in due time,”
      Luke 5:32
"I have not come to call the righteous, but Sinners, to repentance."
      Acts 17:30
"Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,"

God wants all to be saved. But all don't want to be saved.
If you were forced into accepting Christ, would it be love?
If someone married you for the simple reason of not having a choice, would it be genuine love?
The Bible tells us that God wants all to be saved. Not that God will save everyone.

@@djohnson3093 I mean what if I just don't want to go to hell. Its not really a choice made out of love.
I do believe Jesus is very very real but I came to Him because I don't have much of a choice. If you know for certain that all of this is very real you do not have a choice.
Like you used the example of marriage. I could marry someone if I'm homeless and desperate and terrified and no it wouldn't be genuine love, i just don't have much of a choice. Its either that or suffer a horrible fate. And even if im not happy i have to force myself to be grateful because its better than the alternative. That's how I feel about Him honestly.
I actually hate being alive and my experience has been awful and frankly I hate Him for what I've been through, but if I don't choose Him I can spend the rest of my life being tortured by demons and eventually going to hell. There's no love in that choice.

When the prodigal son comes home his dad says rejoice for my son was dead and us now alive. He was lost and now is found.
The son came to his father of his own accord. He was dead in the same sway we are dead in sin. When he came the father welcomed his son with more than he expected. This is how it is with God.

To Jason Manchester with love, I perceive that in the pride of knowledge you may be confused in worship of Theology! "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints." (1 Cor 14:33) When faced with confusion or unanswered questions concerning our Creator (Father), Savior (Word) or self, I go to the source, holy scripture, for uncorrupted knowledge and council (Holy Spirit). "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." (Gen 2:7) Our conscience bears witness of right and wrong in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 2:15, 9:1) But beware of a defiled conscience by a hardened heart of self-deceit: this is the mystery of iniquity. After mankind's disobedience, "the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:" (Gen 3:22) Though sovereign, heavenly Father has always given individuals a choice (free will). But, our Hallowed Father cannot allow corruption to inherit his kingdom. Everyone knows this! We do not need a man to teach us God's will. It is written, "Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish." (Mathew 18:14) God is calling each individual personally, to salvation. This is our first concern and personal choice between life or death. It is written, "Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness." (Psalm 143:10)

Ephesians 1:4. He chose us in Christ, before the foundation of the world. There are many, many, more Scriptures that tell us this truth. So who do we believe God, or Mr Rogers. Don't misunderstand me, I love to listen to Mr Rogers, this is the first time I heard him talk on election. He did a lot of maneuvering in Rom 9, to prove his point, but, I hate to say it. When does God choose people? When they are in Christ. How does God choose people to be in Christ? By hearing and believing the gospel of salvstion. Read Eph 1:13.
Eph 1:4 tells that it is the purpose of choosing that is before the foundation of the world for those in Christ, and that is to be holy and blameless in his sight.
God's choosing of individuals is not done before the creation of the world, but when the individuals hear and believe the gospel of salvation (Eph 1:13).

@@anicetosalas4808 No, you wrong, you are interpreting Eph 1, to fit your free will theology, which the Scripture in Eph 1, clearly does not teach. Nor does the rest of the Scripture, teach free will salvation. Salvation is not, because out of your free will you chose Christ, No, never. Never, has anyone received salvation from Christ on account of their free will. Salvation is of the Lord if you are truly born of of Him, not because of your free will, choosing Christ. Scripture says all sinners are dead in trespasses and sins, Eph 2. Scripture says no one seeks after God. Romans 3:10-18. Our free will, before we are born again by the Holy Spirit, is bound in our sins, and we did the deeds of our sinful will, because we were slaves to our sins. John 8:34. Rom 6:6, 6:16, 6:22, Gal 5:1, 2 Peter 2:19. So many more Scriptures proving that we were slaves to sin, and dead to righteousness. For you to say that out of your free will you chose Christ and salvation, is for you to deny that you were a slave to sin, and that your free will was bound in your sins in your sinful nature, which Eph 2:1-7, tells us about, and then V8-10. Tells us the true gospel and how God saves a sinner, and brings him to life, and salvation in Christ Jesus. God tells us, how He saves us, V8, by His grace, through faith, not of ourselves, (free will) it is the gift of God, not of works (free will) last anyone should boast. Please stop boasting before God, right to His face, by saying to Him, Lord, by my free will I chose to be saved by You, I am boasting in the power of my free will, Lord, even though you tell me in you word that I was born in sin and a slave to my sins, I don't believe that, even though you tell me in Ephesians 2, all sinners are dead in trespasses and their sins, i don't believe that, even though Jesus said no one can come to Me, unless the Father draws them to Me, I don't believe that either, even though, Rom 3:10-18, declares the total depravity of mans sinful nature, i don't believe that either. Friend, I have to tell you, you don't believe a lot of Scripture, by which God's word clearly has shown you, that, true salvation in Christ, is the work of the Holy Spirit, by His grace, (nothing to do with us,) by faith (which is also a gift from God Eph 12:3) and it is the faith that comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. No one is saved without the true Gospel of Christ and Him crucified for our sins and rose again for our justification. The elect by God, chosen and predestined by God for salvation, must come through the Cross of Christ, just as Scripture says, John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. The Elect of God, whom He has predestined before the foundation of the world they will believe in the Cross of Christ and receive His salvation. John 1:10-13. V10, He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. V11, His own did not receive Him, V12, but as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God. Please listen carefully V11 says, as many as received Him, He gave the right to become the children of God, to those who believe in His name, how did they become to believe in His name, V13 tells us, Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Friend, no room to boast in your free will, none whatsoever. You are sinning with your boasting, because you say, out of your own free will you came to Christ and received His salvation. Please, give God the glory for saving your soul, and don't glory in your free will for the salvation of your soul. You have made your free will, an idol, that can not save anyone. Just as Jesus said in John 1:13, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Please, repent, stop boasting. Recognize, that it is of God, that we are in Christ and Him alone, not of your free will, friend, not of my free will, But of God. Please, hear the truth of God's word which is crystal clear, Salvation is His work by the Holy Spirit in our soul, by conviction of our sin, righteousness, and judgment, as God draws us to His Beloved Son Jesus Christ, and Him crucified for our sins, God opens our eyes by the Holy Spirit to see ourselves as wretched sinners in desperate need to be cleansed and forgiven of all our sins, we are brought to our knees before Christ and His Cross, and we cry out for mercy, by confession of our sins to Him, we repent, we ask forgiveness, and trust Him, by submitting to Him as our Lord and Savior, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, doing His will, by which God, predestined us to be conformed into the image of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. What? Really the Creator God, is bowing down to man's choice of Him. The Bible clearly teaches that salvation is of God. A few Calvinist troll have been sent by their dark lord to appose this message.
This is how they explain to their children the wonders of their false doctrine of Calvinist grace to their children.
Little Johnny, God has predestined the minority of people to be saved and go to heaven forever, and He has predestined the majority of people to be eternally damned and burn in the fires of hell. We have no idea, little Johnny, if God has predestined you to be forever damned or forever saved.
We love you, little Johnny, but we accept the fact that God might not love you, and that He may have plans to send you to hell for your future sins. If you do find yourself one day burning in hell because He hasn’t elected to save you, just remember that we will always love you, even if God hates you.
Take comfort knowing that we are not like God.
We will be in heaven forever only because we were unconditionally chosen for salvation before we were born. That would be the only reason that we won’t be in hell with you if you find yourself there. It won’t be because of anything we did.
So also take comfort in knowing that. It may not seem fair, but who are we to judge God?
So again, if you find yourself in hell, remember that we will always love you as we forever worship the God who loved us but who hated you, the God who sent His Son to die for us but not for you.
Please, we ask, don’t let it bother you-if you find yourself in hell-that we love the God who hated you and showed you no mercy. We must accept the fact that God is sovereign, and He does what He pleases.
Will you teach that to your children or grandchildren? Watch their spiritual progress over the ensuing years.
I suspect that your answer will be “never.” But why not? Its easy to call yourself a Calvinist but when it comes to saying it anyone can see the hideousness of it.

Pastor Rogers has it right. It's free choice of whom you follow, Christ or satan, only two choices. 1/3 of the Heavenly angels fell from Paradise in Heaven, and fell to the Earth (this realm outside of Heaven called "The Outer Darkness" in the Bible). Later God created the physical Universe in Earth, and only 2000 years ago Christ came to Earth to save the lost, the sinners (Original sin of following lucifer/satan to Earth against Christ the Lord of all). Our salvation depends on we accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior again, and proving this by our thoughts and behavior.
Only those who think as those in Heaven can return to that place, our ancient home. We are those prodigal children, the 1/3 who fell from Heaven, who God forgave and sent His only Son to save us from possible eternal hell. Hell is no longer eternal because Christ defeated satan and built that Bridge of Atonement back to Paradise in Heaven for us. The repentant man on the cross who Jesus said would "....be in Paradise this very day.." is evidence of Christ's saving power. The Bible, the very book of Salvation, says it truly.

So much to take apart here. According to him, God is sovereign except when He deals with salvation. For service, not salvation, but what does mercy and compassion have to do with service. Mercy is God's choice, but it must be preceeded by man's attitude, how is that not meritorious mercy? The text should teach something about the character of God, but not if it leads to election. Everyone is born in sin with a heart of stone or a hard heart. His potter explanation is just wrong. Pots formed for dishonor were used for things like human waste and yes, for eventual destruction when they had served their purposes. To give pots, an inanimate object, some sort of ability to do anything is just nonsense. That's the whole point about this passage, that man can't seek favor with God any more than a pot can choose what it's used for. God gets glory from judgement in hell, but only because people fail to do something as opposed to through God's sovereignty. God wills all man to be saved, but I guess he's not sovereign over that since not everyone will be. Anyone who uses the doctrine of election to limit their gospel preaching doesn't understand it. Whosoever will may come, says nothing about the capacity or ability to do so. The example of the baby is just to appeal to people's emotions. In sin, did my mother conceive me to repeat David's words. I guess aspect theory was before Adrian's time. Overall, it's typical narrow interpretation through mental gymnastics not called for by text. Acts 13:48 'As many as had been appointed (ordained) to eternal life believed.' First the appointment, then the belief.

@@busybody1474 Hebrews 12:2 " Jesus, The Author and Finisher of our Faith". Now I'm not talking about the Freedom you have to make every day Mundane Choices, what I'm talking about concerns Salvation, being set free from being a Slave to Sin as we all are until we are Saved, as it states in Romans 6: 20-22. According to Romans we are either Slaves to Sin or Slaves to Righteousness!
So what can we do? Can we, of our own understanding and volition set our selves free from the Slavery of Sin? Don't we have the "Free Will" to do that? According to Scripture, NO.
Why not? You see, Having Faith in Christ is a Spiritual Matter. Faith in Christ, Repentance and understanding Salvation are all matters of the Spirit.
According to 1st Corinthians 2: 14-16 Man "CAN NOT" receive things of the Spirit because they are Spiritually discerned. Man, being carnal, can not know them.
So you see, You know nothing of repentance, Faith or what it means to be Saved, in and of your own understanding! You can't Choose to be Saved because you have no understanding of What that even means.
You can't have the "Free Will", (which means independent of God's Will,) to choose to believe in anything Spiritual because you have no Knowledge at all of Spiritual matters.
So how is one Saved? Jesus said 'No one comes to me that has not been drawn by The Father." That doesn't mean God is standing on the podium begging people to come to the Cross.
Neither God or Jesus are beggars. Jesus isn't pleading with you to come to Him. That's not the Character of Jesus and certainly not God. The word "Drawn" in that context, is from the Greek/Hebrew translation that means "As one draws water from a Well." God pulls you out of a Sea of Sinners and to the Cross by His Irresistible Spirit. God grants you repentance Acts 11:18.
By doing so, God has Spiritually shown you your relationship to Him as a Sinner in need of forgiveness gives you the understanding that Salvation is through Jesus.
God Gives you the Free Gift of Faith Ephesians 2:8-9. Romans 12:3. You then can confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you are Saved.
You see, God did it all because He chose to. You didn't accept Jesus, Jesus accepted you. Your "Free Will had nothing to do with your being Saved.
With out the choice of God to call you to Himself, and provide you with Eternal Life , you would be lost like every other unrepentant Sinner.
It's important for Believers to understand the Power of the Holy Spirit and what the Grace of God really means. They should know that God doesn't need their permission to Save them, ( This would give them reason to boast) and that God's Sovereignty affords Him the Ability to Chose whom He Hardens in His Righteous Judgment , and has Mercy on whom He has Mercy, as Scripture states in Roman's 9: 18. Arminianism says YOU have the Will to reject or accept Salvation. This of course would set you on Equal footing with God, having the Power to Resist His Will to Save you. Satan thought he could be like God too, and look how that worked out for him. For that matter, Eve was convinced She could be like God too and convinced Adan of the same thing, and you know how that worked out for them. Don't make the same mistake.
I'm thankful that God has my fate in His Hand. When God regenerated my dead Spirit to being made alive in Christ, I began serving God fully and Willfully. I still have my Will and freedom in Christ. I'm not a Robot or a puppet, I'm a servant of the Lord. In your comment You told me to go to Hell. I'm telling you that what free Will you do have means nothing to Almighty God. God does what ever He pleases, and He doesn't need your Will to do it. Since God Bringing Glory to Himself is what we as His creation are here for, it pleases me to be a part of it.
Like I said, I've always has fondness for Adrian Rodgers, he brought so much to the Church, but when it came to an understanding of Salvation, we disagreed. He believed he chose Jesus, Calvinist believe Jesus chose Him.

He must of have had calvinists in his church. He is doing here what most southern baptist churches try to do and that's to stomp out calvinists from their congregations. But the doctrine of election is in and all over the bible. All Bible knowing Christians know that. No one I know believe swere predestined for hell, absolutely no one. Do you? Ofcourse not. Now, I've heard Pastor Adrian say that he offered little children lollipops if they would only say 'the lords prayer and be saved' that my friend is not the salvation you read about in scripture. How a educated and pious man can dwindle Christ's salvation down to that i don't know but it has taught me that although I believe Adrian is a brother and someone worthy to be listened to. You do need to use discretion when listening to him and READ YOUR BIBLE so that you can know when to discern for that OTHER GOSPEL that occasionally spills from the southern baptist pulpit.
