1960s Kay Vanguard 1-pickup electric guitar

This is a ‘60s Kay Vanguard (one-pickup) electric guitar that @benandbuckys handed to us as freebies in a collection of junker parts (thank you!). The body and wiring was alright (I put a new jack and ground wire in) but the neck was absolutely toast so I understand why it was in that box as it was a bit of a brutal repair.
Work included a replacement truss rod, board removal/reglue, board plane/refret, new tuners, aforementioned wiring, and mod to the original tailpiece to fit Tele-style adjustable saddles.
Is it golden? Yes it is! I played one of these when I was learning guitar and it was the first electric model I actually enjoyed owning. With this one totally done-up it’s pure joy to play.
