      You can actually trim down those igniter electrodes instead of bending them, FYI

    You can cut that rod shorter. I had mine straight and about 4 inches. They tend to bounce around if its longer

    i wonder if you can do this with other brands ? But drill the holes your self and use that igniter

    • @JPBBQ
      @JPBBQ  Před 3 lety

      I don't see why not. It seems to be just a regular generic igniter. Thanks for watching.

    Hi, I would Like to build an outdoor kitchen and integrate my camp chef burner to it. Unfortunately we don't see your cooking station very well. Is there a video where you show it more with the burner ? Thx.

    Great Video. On a side note, I just tried the sexy chicken rub and it is awesome. J.P. Licious is already my favorite rub for pork, and this is now my go to for chicken. Thank You.

    Thanks for the video, very helpful. I wonder what is the island’s material of the ‘pocket’ part (in black) that you put the stove in? How does it handle the heat under the stove?

    • @JPBBQ
      @JPBBQ  Před 4 lety +1

      Appreciate you watching my video Nick. I built the cut out using 2 x 4 treated wood, laminate with plywood, then put another layer of concrete board with a final layer of roofing zinc painted with black high heat temp paint. So far so good. the only thing when I'm using the griddle, it does tend to get hot under there, which kinda works to my advantage. When using the griddle, my setting on the camp chef is set to the lowest it can go and still maintain a hot surface on the griddle, working like an insulator. Thanks again appreciate you watching and commenting.
