    If you play Pickleball and are looking for a paddle check out the NEW KoBo paddles by clicking on this link davek.kobopick... which will take you to their website.
    I have had the opportunity to try these paddles and have had the privilege of meeting and playing with the owner of KOBO and his wife who actually designed these paddles from the ground up and worked with a manufacturing plant to produce them. They are all in and committed to hitting the ground running and I am pretty darn certain you will be seeing these paddles across the country very very soon.
    And in return if you click on the link above and happen to make a purchase, we will get a small reward which in turn will help our channel. Feel free to share that link with others.
    At this point I will also be doing demo days at Pickleball courts as we travel. Hey we like the product and love the story of a small family-owned company starting a new journey and we hope you do to.

    I prefer both single burner and the double burner. I don’t like the griddle for those camp,chef’s. I instead use a high wall LARGE cast iron skillet. They’re easier to haul around and clean in my opinion.

    Great review! The single burner is probably way more convenient. We have the double burner coleman, maybe a downgrade is in the cards.

    My brother in law purchased the small Blackstone griddle and likes it. Before the Blackstone he had the Coleman tailgater grill. He like the Blackstone. He doesn’t do much grilling.

      Good info thanks. We grill a lot, at least a few times per week. I wish Camp Chef made the VersaTop 2 burner with a griddle that had a lid that closed. I think I would make another switch because of the interchangeability.

    It offers less power but the versatop 250 is even smaller/lighter and would work with your current camp chef appliances. You would just need a table at your locations.
    Also note that camp chef has different classes. Each class offers enhanced features (including starters and dials) and they only make single burners in the lowest class (explorer). So you changed size and class at the same time. The versatops seem to be middle class and offer closer to Pro model features.

    I know what you mean about moving the grill back and forth. Single burner definitely for moving. Those get heavier the older I get. We had a blackstone 17” we sold it this past summer. 👍

    Bummer the single burner is missing some of the double burner features.

      They could really make the purchase a lot better by adding just a few dollars worth of accessories right out of the box.

    I’m with Diane, I don’t like smoke meat either 🤢 good luck on finding a new grill 😁👍

    We do like us some smoked meats but hear ya Blackstone should come out with the box! We would jump on it too hah!!

    Do you find the single burner ok? Does it get hot enough during windy days? I have a 4 burner grill but its stationary, If i don't use 2 burners minimum it doesn't heat good during very windy days. Is your griddle separate from your grill? Thanks Dave, we hope you have something good planned for the weekend 👍🏻 😀

      On windy days I find myself strategically placing lawn chair to block wind to help. And yes, the griddle and BBQ box are interchangeable which is the main reason I like Camp Chef. And we DO have something VERY special planned but you will have to wait for the video. Actually, a series of videos. It's huge!!

    I’ve been looking at the two burner Camp Chef, I have a single burner camp chef griddle already on a camp chef pellet grill/smoker so I could use it on the Camp Chef2 burner. Thanks for your review and opinions!

    good vid, thank you. I just got the single burner, haven't used it yet, but concerned about grease just dripping through to floor of my deck. They don't have a grease cup?? Any suggestions, or should I return my new single burner? Thanks

    • @daveanddianethrowingcautio5707
      @daveanddianethrowingcautio5707  Před měsícem +1

      There are a number of grease catchers available that can hook on the single burner. At about 4.25 into the video you can see the grease catcher I got and it works pretty well.

      @@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707 , thx for quick response. Sorry for my inaccurate description. I have the Camp Chef Delux BBq Grill box, that is the one that I'm concerned about. If I cook some chicken on that thing I'm expecting grease all over the place. I've read some complaints and I'm looking for ideas. Thanks again, Joe

      No worries!! I always lay some sort of matt under the BBQ but with that said I have never had an issue with grease or anything coming out of the BBQ box. However I would still suggest some sort of matt because now that I told you that the very 1st time you used yours something would come out of the bottom LOL!!!

    Great detailed info! Do you have a propane connection at the coach and if so, do you ever use that for your portable grills and griddles? Thanks!

    • @daveanddianethrowingcautio5707
      @daveanddianethrowingcautio5707  Před 11 měsíci +1

      We do not have a propane connection on the rig for the BBQ. We did that on one rig and realized I normally like to set the BBQ up away from the RV and the hose didn't reach OR I didn't like having the hose laying out so using the bottle gives me more flexibility. Thats just what works for us.
