I have about that amount of WHr on my EUC. At 25 mph average (sometimes 35 mph+, sometimes slower), I get approximately 100 miles of range. That would drop if you started pushing the average higher, but I bet you could get 50 miles most of the time for riding short of pinning it the whole time.

Thanks for the thoughts. For the tires we think you’re going to like them, they’re a smooth rolling tire that doesn’t make the on road handling noticeably different from a smooth tire.
For the idea of the extreme, of course we have thought about the “what if’s” around this. To do this we’d need to make the bike taller to give it even more suspension, it would need full motorcycle brakes, it would need a redesigned battery case and at 72v and 60ah that’s a retail price of around $2800 for the battery with a high spec BMS plus the fact that it would be 50+ lbs alone. But it would reduce range anxiety for sure. To make it safe it would end up around a 180 lb “bike” which would be around 60-65mph. So just below highway speeds. But at this speed do you trade off for the lower weight and maneuverability of the 60v battery. That’s the tough trade off!

I guess that would be answered after riding the Graffiti X for a while. The Graffiti X is close to what most that like to modify there bikes are looking to accomplish.

Im in the minority for sure but I love to pedal my moped style ebike. It's not as nice as a normal bicycle pedaling wise but it's fine and good excercise.

I have the 2023 Graffiti and, while I do throttle most of the time, it's perfectly fine for pedaling, to me.

Or, even if you just want to maintain a steady “high teens” (15-21mph) speed for several (4-7) hours without having to hunt up a place to *CHARGE!*
Note: I currently have a 31 amp hour battery at 52 volts nominal, and want a fair bit more! Twice that much would not be too much for long (100+ mile, like from Portland to the coast) trips…

I too have considered large batteries for range. The best option to get the max distance with the least amount of weight would be to either build or have built a battery using Molicel P45b cells. Those put out 45a each. The P42A (42a discharge) cells are the most popular and energy dense, which benefits the speed junkies as well as long distance riders. It also would be more cost effective to build a Lyric with the above mentioned battery option with, say an 8kw QS273 hub motor. It then would not only be highway capable, but be efficient enough to travel a long way when you want to. Powerful Lithium could build a massive battery to fit the frame & then run a Fardriver controller for maximum flexibility.

Note: given that one wishes several - up to, perhaps, a dozen or more - cells in parallel, one could also use Samsung 50E cells as well. These have up to 9 amps output each. Multiplied by, say, 12 - that’s 108 amps! 3 times what an unlocked (1.5kw) BBS-HD can devour!
Now if you’re using something with *MORE* “AMP-thirst” - then you might desire the Molicell cells. (Or more of the Samsungs paralleled…)
The Samsungs also have more “AMPs per Bux,” too - an issue if you must save for such things…

@@dennisyoung4631 I’m also curious as to when the Molicel P50 will release. My builds will need at least 600 line amps of current. E-bike guy here in Central FL built his own Molicel battery and is currently running 710 line amps. His diy bike topped 105mph, but also can go on long distance group rides as his battery is 58.8ah.
