The Lyric Voodoo may beat the Onyx RCR in style and power. Ride along with me as a test ride this PROTOTYPE lyric cycles voodoo electric motorbike and then test out the lyric 305 ghost as well. Is it an electric bike? is it an electric motorcycle? you be the judge, whatever it is, it's awesome and I had a blast on these big boy toys. In this video we try out the Lyric 305 ghost ebike as well.
If you're looking at getting an onyx rcr or onyx cty2 and you want a little more power or different style, this may be what you're looking for.
Hey Juiced! Thank you for providing the link. Definitely bought the bike before the video was even over hahaha. thanks brotha!
Heck yeah! Thanks dude! You’re going to love it, happy riding!
Do you like the bike I’m thinking about buying! Any trouble with customer service ?
@@brbfitness9346 still haven’t received it placed my order well over a year and a half ago.
Wish ebike companies would stop making their bikes look like motorcycles, the fake gas tank just looks off
@@brbfitness9346it's not out yet. They changed it from hub motor to a mid drive. It's in the production stage right now.
Awesome ride!
That regen throttle is badass! Such a good idea.
You had me at "wow"
Andi is the best. Can't wait till we start seeing these on the streets
Do you guys know when there will be a review or if these have even been delivered yet? I’m waiting forever.
@@MITCH1221later this year
Always good to have options as ebike lover. I have ariel rider and super73 Ebikes so I am intrigued by the power
Have you considered the Volcon brat?
I would like to buy this or a super73 for myself and one for my son to get us out of the dang house.
LYRIC CYCLES EBIKES ARE KILLING IT. $$$
I agree, they just need to polish up a few things and get these bikes shipped, I could see them making waves in this space
This is a legit company, very responsive to questions. Turns out the display shows motor temperature, so you can keep track of whether you're pushing the bike too long or hard. Memorial weekend sale convinced me to pony up, mine is on its way, a Midnight Voodoo. I'll register it as a street motorcycle, the bike comes set up for that. It's going to get rearsets and a vintage style faring, to play up the cafe racer look.
I'm still waiting, their contact guy says I can expect to see it by early December. I'm pleased with how responsive they've been to specific questions (I wanted to know the diameter of the upper fork tubes, and got a response that day, and a dimension the day after) I also asked about the pedal kit (available on their website soon)
It's a rare treat to get clear, quick responses from an e-bike company, in my experience.
Sorry, I miss-spoke. The Voodoo comes with pedals, the foot peg kit is an optional accessory.
I got lucky enough to be able to place an order before they went out of stock a few days ago. Hopefully I see it soon as well. Let me know what you think of it!
I was wondering if you could register this cuz theres no way I could ride it here as is
What is your guys opinion on the refreshed version with the mid drive motor. What changes could be expected when compared to the hub motor in terms of noise or ease of use. How would it stack up to the rcr?
This will knock a lot of e-bikes of their perch. The Lyric Voodoo is a bike to look out for,
I think so too
Which ones? This is 7k not including shipping and tax. Its not competing with anything in that price range.
It's not an ebike so it's not even competing in that space.
This is an e moto
when we own this ebike, do we have to registration, license pate, insurance?
I know the pedals are there to get it into more markets where only ebikes with pedals can be on the street, but they look so silly on here.
There is actually an option to have pegs and skip out in the pedals entirely
I like it
Me too
I bought and received the newest edition of this bike and found major dangerous electrical flaws and design concerns that have prompted me to return it. This is not a safe vehicle
Are there any chance, that production version could bring here in the philippines,?
No idea about that!
I wish they would offer a rear-suspension bike in the Graffiti power class.
They are coming out with the Lyric Graffiti X
@@zadraking - Yup, I just saw that recently. I'm not the only one who has been asking for that, and apparently they listened.
I'm just worried it's going to cost $4,000+, considering the specs they listed. Looks like a single, _big_ 60V battery. Maybe 35Ah? Full light package. More powerful motor.
They've got a new image of it up on the site. All black. Looks bad-ass.
Can you compare the Colibri M22 to this bike?
Would love to, dropped them a comment to see if I can try their bike
Hi, i honestly love the look of the bike, even though pedals seem a bit useless at this point.
I have just one problem with this, and thats the peak power figure. I have been very interested in this kind of hub motor in the past few months and the absolute max peak power i have ever seen on any of them is double the continuous power, and most of them dont claim anywhere near as much. 18000W peak with 3000W continuous is either just a lie or they have done something absolutely crazy with this thing(and not in a good way). I would really steer waaaaaay clear of this bike just based on that one number alone.
I agree the spread on those two numbers is crazy, perhaps they are being exaggerated. The controller may be able to send that much power to the motor briefly, but maybe the motor can’t handle it for long without exploding
Will the bike have a security system?
that is a great question!
Which do you prefer the Lyric Voodoo or the Solar e-clipse?
I didn’t have much time on the lyric voodoo, and they have made huge changes to it since the prototype I was on. Would love to get back on the new variant. I don’t think I have enough knowledge to really pick one vs the other.
@@JuicedJoyrides it’s mid drive now that’s a huge change
At this point that's a motorcycle have fun with registration and insurance, also dont for get to get your m1
Touché
It's considered a moped in Texas no need for m1.
I don't see how I could get something like this and ride here without a plate. I would love to get a Surron or anything like that but there's no way I'd make it 1 day where I live without getting stopped. I dont think I'd get away with 90% of bikes im looking at tho lol
Did he say 3k watts nominal and 18k PEAK? 😂😂😂
😆 he did, quite the spread. Perhaps they’re being conservative on the nominal, I know the Sur Ron can run much higher nominal than stated
Why bother with pedals? its a freakin Motor bike ! not a bicycle!
Looks a good ride but wow its an ugly bike lol
It’s got potential
Not impressed at all with these bikes so far. Wouldn't it be hilarious if these janky "prototypes" just ended up being DIY bikes someone threw together just to get pre-orders from us? I'm skeptical legit new companies would think it was a great idea to give these prominent Y-tubers poor quality "prototypes" to promote. Although I wouldn't blame influencers for biting because we know they jump on opportunities like this for needed relevant content but also the need to possibly scoop others in this space. Time will tell whether or not we actually see quality production versions of these bikes.
It is a prototype. Same as when photographers get pre production cameras. Look at the Lyric graffiti.
I hope it comes out polished, seems like it has good potential
Reason why I don’t pre-order period. It better to wait and them to work out issues anyways if it does make it to production stage.
Well, I just got my BAC4000 from E-Moto Bros and ordered a ChiBattery Gladiator 72 Volt 38AH Compact for my SurRon. I sold my Onyx RCR. I always went to the SurRon when I wanted to ride. It was much more comfortable, the suspension was right on for my weight (130#-135#). It just seemed to be made better. In retrospect I wish I had kept it, maybe set it up as a cafe racer. I sold it too soon. The price has continued to go up and if I had hung on I could have picked up a couple of thousand more. I hope it’s new owner is enjoying it.
@@theknifedude1881 yeah I get it. I wish there was a cafe racer looking Sur Ron...man, I'd be all over that
At that price it should come with cast wheels instead of spokes.
And a maintenance crew haha 😜
