Those are static animations.
If I were to actually make them equalizers (not too difficult), then I would need music playing every-time i wear the helmet in order for the LEDs to light up.
How much would a helmet of this quality cost? I'm extremely interested in purchasing a Guy Manuel anywhere from now to March 2014.

Yeah, you can see pretty well.
If the LEDs are off, they don't really obstruct your vision.

Do you think it's possible to mount the matrix After the sidebars and visor are mounted, really don't want to risk damaging my kit/visor by taking them off, also, is there an app similar to Sena BTerm that can be used for an iPhone?or do I have to go buy an android ?
It's possible, if your sidebars are small enough. The basic Guy matrix kit is thinner than the red-green one.

I didn't make this helmet myself (the cast I mean), I bought it fully chromed.
I think that plastic is PETG, around 1.5 - 2mm thick, you can find a pretty large sheet (48 x 48 inches) on usplastics.com
That being said, the shipping charges are ridiculous!

Not a Volpin Cast. It's possible to get a Volpin Guy Man helmet, raw cast for $200-$300. Chrome will be extra.

The LEDs were ~$100 the rest of the electronics were another $150 or so.

The helmet cost me $400, the electronics were $250, and then I spent a lot of time coding and soldering.

I plan on having them available for at least another two years, maybe longer if it doesn't become a hassle.
Sweet I always wanted to make one, now that I can comprehend what to do using your Guide videos I'll be able to make it happen. If and when I complete my helmets (at least one before Halloween) I'll show you how it goes :D

It will be a separate kit, it won't have any interaction with the other kits.

Don't want to buy the helmet per se, but as for the LED kit? You better catch that $$$ as it falls out of the hole it's burning in my pocket.
I'm working on getting a DIY kit put together, but it will take some time to do. There's lots of work to be done in order to have this ready as a kit.

Just to be clear - the matrix in the video is NOT the "Basic" one currently on sale on your site, correct? This looks to be more advanced than the "Basic", notably the multiple colors.
You are 100% correct! The basic kit is a single color matrix. The forthcoming Advanced kit would be bi-color.
