Interesting idea. If they go for 'full-blown creation abilities' it could well blow all the blogging sites out of business. Revenue share would be the best way for Flipboard to keep the media companies on board .. ___________________
For those asking why they came out with the ios version first, it's because flipboard is primarily for tablets. Ipads still dominate the tablets, so it's logical that they support that first. Obviously, once they have the ipad version, it's easy to convert that to the iphone format. Also, the android tablets/phones have too many sizes/resolutions and it would be difficult to come up with a format that works with all of them.
At Greenleafize because he enabled contact lock, I may not use Mac devices in the workplace but I use them almost every day for an hour or more for over two years now. And from personal experience I still believe that Winows OS is far more effecient in almost every way and that macs are a waste of money in general.

It's only the last 2 quarters that the android tablets sold slightly more than the ipads, and that may have more to do with the lack of ipad mini supply. In any case, if you look at all the tablets that have been sold since 2010, there are many times more ipads than the androids.

If developers can make an app as sophisticated as Flipboard, they can handle different resolutions. Not to mention the fact that there are 4 different iPads with different resolutions.
