I love Johnny's passion
Same I love his passion for video games too
His euphoria is his biggest asset. ❤ A big heart for video games.
@cougarcartel4658 fun fact: the country is spelled Phillipines, but otherwise, it's spelled Filipino
same I have never been into Zelda games, but he is making me want to play this lol.
Tears of The Kingdom is also my game of the year. It has been the only title this year that I finished feeling sadness because it was done. Felt a lot more connected to the characters this time comparing to BoTW. Close second is Octopath Travelers 2. This is such a unique year in terms of quantity and quality though!
Whaaaaat!?! That’s my 1 & 2 as well. Didn’t get to play BG3 but getting the physical next year.
It was a great year for gaming for sure. My pick is Octopath Traveler 2
Octopath 2 is a Amazin!
I loved that game. I honestly forgot it came out this year too. So many games!
Same feels with Tears of the Kingdom. It is amazing, daunting, and challenging. I still have yet to finish the game.
But from what I have experienced thus far, it is incredible.
Better yet, a complete experience. No mtx, no season pass. Everything is there for you to explore
Atmosphere, environments, and the journey, plus the music. So good
Love starting my Sundays with a HCG video 👍
The one I enjoyed the most this year was Star Ocean Second Story R. Pure bliss.
I’m impressed with this & RE 4.. I just didn’t get deep enough in to really judge adequately.. And they are remakes like this other little one I’m playing called Last of Us.. So they’re new but not new new
Same.
I plan to move to this after Mario RPG. Especially happy that it doesn't have random encounters (which is what annoyed me with Octopath Traveller 2...why we still doing random encounters in 2023).
@@awest3749 Funny you should say.. I tried Legend of Dragoon several years ago but I put it down because I was having trouble with the QuickTime.. Last night I gave it another try and I chugged along for several hours because I was getting the combat down slightly better.. In a way I was in love with it but the other part of me hated it.. My biggest pet peeve is losing your sense of direction and not being able to figure out where to go because you’re constantly being forced to do random battles.. However it doesn’t seem the whole game is based on this
I really want to play this. So behind though.
BG3 is mine. My first turn based rpg I’ve ever played. I’m 130 hours in and still going.
Nice! BG III is absolutely amazin!
I jumped in the first chasm expecting to die. When the map of the depths appeared it blew my mind and filled me with a sense of wonder that I haven't felt since entering the dark world in link to the past.
Octopath 2 for me. Getting those comfy retro chill vibes everytime i played it ontop of it being better than the first one which was already amazing. Everything about it is just pure fun!
My man, great choice! Have you tried Chained Echoes? If you enjoy that retro rpg vibe.
I felt exactly as Johnny. Easily my favorite game of the year.
I just started Baldur's Gate 3 a week ago, I sit here completely addicted and buried in D&D books as I research the forgotten realms and all the lore this game is based on. I can't pick a GOTY just yet!
I also spent a lot of my time with ToTK wondering if it was the best game I've ever played, and it's probably safe to say that it is. Whether it's my favorite game is a different matter since nostalgia plays such a large part in that, but I can't think of another game that I was so consistently and thoroughly entertained with for 250 hours.
Thats an incredible amount of time you got out of this one! I still havent played it. Do you think I should wait for a remaster in the future or is the performance beautiful enough as it is?
@@StereoJoe2000 hours in TotK here...Id say it's worth it. For the most part, it stays at a stable 30fps especially with all the performance patches it got. Due to how much freedom is in TotK as well, all the options, physics based systems, etc. the game has quite a bit of replayability. TBH, it has the most replayability out of any Zelda
My 2023 Game of the Year is Metal Gear Solid 4. Instead of chasing trends, I've been catching up to everything I've missed (and will keep doing so for the next couple years). MGS4 is such a powerful game that it almost makes me ashamed it took me this long to play. Games like this make me realize how much more I can enjoy gaming if I stop following the flow and start following my heart instead.
One of the greatest experiences I’ve had playing a video game, still hasn’t been topped and was way ahead of it’s time,we need a remaster asap.
Replayed that earlier this year too 💪
Right on, MGS4 is fantastic!
MG IV was a masterpiece, my 2nd favorite MGS game.
Mgs4 > Mgs5
This is the best community, ppl are just sharing which they like and why in the comments. I loved all of 2023 it’s too hard to choose a fav out of so many games I’ll remember fondly and enjoyed so much
I can't wait for you and Rob man to do your Christmas special
I love your videos! Your excitement and passion really shine through. I always feel uplifted after watching one. Thank you for sharing!
Lies of P is my favorite game this year! it was such a suprise and i loved everything about it.
I agree! What a great game! It got me into Souls-likes which I’ve never been a fan of. Since then, I’ve played Demon’s Souls, Lords of the Fallen, The Surge 2 and Bloodborne. I’ve liked all of them but Lies of P has been the best.
I was looking forward to Lies of P since its intial trailer and it still lived up to expectations, 100% my GoTY
@@SoloBoardGamingKnight Fromsoft games aren't "Souls-likes", they're Souls(borne). "Souls-likes" is reserved for games emulating core Souls formula/elements in their design foundation. They get that name *because* they weren't made my Fromsoft - it's the distinguishing factor.

Good for you man because i found it unplayable

Johnny while playing TOTK: "I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the power to do it." :D
I’ve had a very similar journey with this game as you, John, starting out overwhelmed and frustrated and progressing to an awed state of immersion. Your advice to essentially level-up at the shrines has been key to allowing me to enjoy the game - thank you!
Some really great games mentioned in this comment section. I remember 2007 and 2010 being fantastic years for games. I think the 2023 lineup of quality games will be remembered for a very long time.
I’ve had a busy year and as a result Mario Wonder really hit for me. I like that it is bite sized and I can just play a few levels at a time as I work toward completion. I definitely feel the being overwhelmed thing. I started both Tears of the Kingdom and Baulder’s Gate 3 and felt a bit overwhelmed by both.
BG3 is game of the year for me. I've never played these types of games before and was hooked after about 30min of playing and I mean HOOKED! The story and choices you can make are so in depth it's just insane.
Oh and never during the game did I ever feel like I wanted to quit. That's what makes a good game of the year. When the game flows in a way that makes sense. Not having to do a bunch of busy work just to complete the story.
Smart pick and easily the best of the best.
Thankyou so much for making videos! Happy Cosole Gamer has helped me through some dark times. 💜💜💜 Please never stop :)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Great video.
Mine was Lies of P! 🎉 loved the gameplay and the art style. The story was excellent, too!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉me too!!!!!!!
It’s Final Fantasy XVI for me. It’s an incredible achievement in terms of presentation and storytelling. The game surprised me because I didn’t have the biggest amount of hype going in as I haven’t felt the same about Final Fantasy games since X, but even the combat hooked me (those Eikon battles were something) and before I knew it, I played it hours on end completing it twice after 96 hours and got the platinum. It was an amazing ride and the story kept me wondering how it was all going to come together at the end.
Great game, definitely in my top 5 of the year!!
Totally agree 😊
Damn bro, exactly! I haven't picked it up for like 3 months... for all those reasons. I do think it's one of the greatest games ever. I'm just overwhelmed but after watching this video, I'm gonna go back to it. For perspective, the original took me like 5 years to finish, lol.
My game of the year is Octopath II. I agree about TOTK. It was overwhelming!
My favorite game this year is Robocop Rogue City. It was absolutely insanely fun while also being so dedicated to source material
That’s very interesting. I also got overwhelmed by tears of the kingdom! Hearing you push through makes me want to pick it back up again
Same thing, the game has not limits.. but we have for sure. 175 hours spent but my sidequests, equipment ed exploration are nowhere near the completion, but i'll do it sooner or later
@@danielebagnasco1123 wow you got your monies worth! Let’s both finish it next year !
Metroid Prime Remastered. I feel a little cheap picking a remaster rather than a completely new title, but I don’t care, the game is amazing. The feeling I got when I played it again for the first time in 20 years gave me nostalgia goosebumps like I’ve not felt in a long time. I was so giddy I felt like I was in my youth again. It’s such an amazing game in so many levels. I loved a lot of games this year, but none gave me all the feels like that game. Honorable mention to The Talos Principle 2, Zelda, RE4, Dead Space.
I'm playing it for the first time, towards the end and I see why people are hyped for 4 now.
Game is so good but I’m a slightly a bigger fan of Prime 2. Prime has a kinda bad fetch quest at the end there with the relics. Still fantastic and the graphics are unbelievable. :)
Agreed, MP2 is actually my fav game of all time.@@BakedApple989
It's almost a remake rather than a remaster. Other Devs take note!! I loved playing it again after all this time. Def in my top 3 this year.
Mine is Baldur’s Gate 3… as a longtime RPG enthusiast and newcomer to strategy RPGs / Dungeons & Dragons, it was an absolute masterpiece.
As a matter of fact, it’s hard to imagine a game like Baldur’s Gate 3 even exists.
I’m LUCKY to have experienced it.
I have played BG2 twenty years ago. I never thought another game could recreate that experience. Well, it was worth the wait!
Baldurs gate is a masterpiece
@@balazskertesz5010 I plan on going back and experiencing BG2 for the first time. I hope I enjoy it as much as you did!
@@Ralphensteins You ain’t lying brother
It’s funny that a proper rpg is being called a “strategy rpg” now.
I put 205 hours into TotK, and there's still so much more to do. I agree with everything you said about it. I stopped playing it a few months ago, but will definitely be revisiting it. For me, it's a ride to between totk and start Ocean second story remake, but SO2 is getting some serious nostalgia advantage. Nostalgia aside, i think TotK has to be the winner. I have but played BG3 though.
Tears is also my Goty. BG3 was good/great but Tears gave me Elden Ring vibes…stranded with only 1 game is the perfect way to illuminate my feelings of why it’s special in a year of many amazing games.
Great breakdown fella
1000% agree and well deserved.
My favorite game this year has to be Baldur’s Gate 3. It really just grabbed me from the jump and I finished two playthroughs back to back before taking a break.
Baldur’s gate 3 is my game of the year. I love turn based rpgs and this one is a masterpiece.
Hell yeah, long live turn base rpg's! Love em.
about 10 hours into TotK I was so incredibly bored I had to stop
but I hope we can still be friends johnny
I was overwhelmed as well, and I also reverted to concentrating on shrines first. After that, I was immersed in the game. It's hard for me to pick a no 1 but my favorite 3 games that I've played this year: TOTK, Balders Gate 3, and Starfield. Great video by the way!
I initially felt the same way you did at the start of this game. I too was overwhelmed by it and then it clicked, finally, and I too think this is my game of the year as well.
My GOTY was Hogwart's Legacy. I played a lot of great games this year, but the time I spent with this one had me so immersed in this particular world that, for me, it puts it above the others.
I actually 100% Hogwarts legacy. It is my one of two platinum trophies that I have lol
Hogwarts and BG3 are my fav this year
Glad you enjoyed it. I've almost got the platinum, just have the last few collectibles and the map chamber trophies to do. I enjoyed it and thoroughly enjoyed the world.
Unfortunately my enjoyment wavered at certain parts. I think particularly the Scottish Highlands and a few too many dungeons just weren't to my liking.
Solid game though overall
I plan on getting this next
Hogwartz was incredible, I can't wait to see what Portkey does next now that they have $.
Im currently playing it and it’s incredible. Can’t believe this exists.
TotK was my goty. It more than delivery for me. I loved the sense of exploration and was so awe struck by the beauty of the world.
My game of the year is still being determined at this moment. It's definitely going to be a hard choice, but i usually declare my Game of The Year at the end of December with my brothers and my best friends. It's always a fun conversation to have with them.
I do know what my biggest disappointment of the year is though and that is Sonic Superstars!
Without a doubt , for me, it was Lies of P. One of the best Soulslike so far.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It always gets to mid-afternoon Sunday and I hear your voice before I've even gone onto my PC haha. Doing my house chores and knowing it's almost time!
i look very much forward to your videos
Baldur’s Gate 3 is Winning GOTY
I only had time for Tears of the kingdom this year, just finished 100%
100% agreed! I had the same expectations as you going in and the first night I had the chance to dive in, I was utterly blown away. Nintendo did a great thing by not talking about the depths before the release. I have a family so my video game time is more limited these days, so I expect this one should keep me busy for YEARS. Been a blast working through it with my kids though. This game is SOOOOOOO good!!! It's pure perfection on just about every conceivable level.
Excellent choice John. I agree this is my Game of the Year as well.
I got tears of the kingdom, but haven’t got far in it. I beat the first main dungeon in the bird land area, but I just beat breath of the wild this year for the first time so I got burnt out, and there was just too much coming out I had to play.
Tears of the Kingdom is probably my game of the year as well, idk it's really hard for me to choose. Tears of the Kingdom I definitely put more time into than any other game this year but I have to say I also really enjoyed Armored Core VI, Lies of P and Hogwarts Legacy. Those would be my runners ups for my personal GOTY. Tears of the Kingdom probably my #1, while the other 3 games all tied for #2.
*omg* You are so right in any aspect of your video. I'm 100% with you on everything you say. 👍🏻
Tears of the kingdom is my game of the year as well.
Talos Principle 2. It's a great sequel to one of the best and most clever puzzle game of all time, but in this one the world they built is insane, on a completely different level. It's a great puzzle game in it's own right, of course, one of the greatest in fact, but half the time I was just walking around literally with my mouth open, marveling at the beautiful mysterious and intricate world they created. RE4 remake, Metroid Prime remake and Dead Space remake are at 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectfully. Yeah, for me it was also a great year of excellent remakes and I don't mind it too.
Thanks for this video Johnny! I’m a huge Zelda fan and I’ve reeeeeally had a hard time continuing with ToTK. I love a lot of it and dislike a lot. I will push through to finish it. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one thinking it’s too much right off the bat. Looking forward to the full story because it’s great so far. (Roughly 30-40 hours played)
Great video. I agree with just about everything you said.
Mine is Master Detective Archives Rain Code. I even didn't know what it is before saw it on the stores. Read one review (usually, I demand myself reading at least 3 before buying a game) and bought it. What a crazy game. It short, it is a detective game from the creators of DaganRonpa. Amazing story with dramatic and funny moments, amazing puzzles that made me feel like a genious by beating them, and amazing artstyle.
Really hoping to play that one someday
I will finally be able to play this game soon! So excited!
That one is up there for me it was a great game
It is definitely on my list for sure,I absolutely loved that game! It was one of my most anticipated games and I preordered the CE,it got delayed by like a week or two after the launch date,It arrived and was absolutely mesmerized the moment I started playing.
I love the way you phrased Phantasy Star being your favorite game of all time. Nostalgically. That's exactly what the original Final Fantasy VII is for me. Nothing can ever take its place, it's in a tier of its own because of the overwhelming nostalgia that comes with it and how it literally changed my life as a gamer ❤️
Also, my game of the year is Sea of Stars. What an incredibly special game. 😊
FF VII is amazin! My favorite was VI but I won't argue with anyone who says VII is the best.
I could not agree more! 👌
Awesome video man 😎!
Totally agree. Made mw feel 9 again playing Link to the Past. Great video, as always, Jonny. Im feeling rough today but you have massively cheered me up! 😊
For me it was Hogwarts Legacy. I could not believe how much they made that world come to life. It was an amazing experience.
Same. I played a lot of amazing games this year too but Hogwarts Legacy is something special for me. This year had some excellent, excellent games released but Hogwarts was just everything I wanted in a game, I couldn’t put it down. It hit my nostalgia and then my gaming preferences too. It was just so much fun for me. Tears of the Kingdom, Octopath Traveler 2, Super Mario Wonder, Sea of Stars, Dave the Diver, Baldurs Gate… and that’s just off the top of my head of major releases. There were so many awesome games and Hogwarts was just everything I personally really loved. It felt so good to play, the exploring and the combat, the story, the world building… I just loved it. I couldn’t wait to be able to play again and then once I was done I was already ready to replay in a new house and a new way I was going to do things, etc.
100%
It dosent even work properly on pc lol
Graphically it was incredible, story wise I didn't even want to finish the game, it felt like a waste of time, I just wanted to keep exploring Hogwarts with RTX on, then I got bored and stopped playing.
wasn't even nominated
totally agree!!!
Tears ❤
I love the show man! I like TOTK, not my game of the year but it’s good! I can understand someone picking it for their game of the year. However, best/greatest game of all time? That’s a bit of a stretch for me. Keep making the great content. Great show!
Final fantasy 16 has been my goty. Know it’s not been everyone’s favourite but hit all the right marks story wise for me.
Also enjoyed Spiderman 2 and sea of stars a lot not to mention the insane roster we’ve had this year!
Roll on TEKKEN and ff7RB in the new year!
It’s so easily ff16 in my eyes
From the beginning with that blood spatter and the language , I knew it wasn’t your usual FF game.
I just wish I could find the time to finish!
Weird I thought final fantasy 16 was one of the worst games I have ever played in my entire life..awful graphics, terrible characters ..shallow poor combat..bad cliche story ..sluggish frame rate ..empty main character..overall extremely forgettable game that I traded in as soon as I could..remake and older final fantasy games are another planet
@@phillipcollins1103 shame you didn’t enjoy it man! Hope ff7RB or ff17 can bring what you were looking for! ❤️
@@elchit6635oh I will definitely check out the follow up to ffvii remake
Tears may be, my favorite game of all time. Im a HUGE NES/SNES guy.. spend all my time going through those libraries. However, breath of the wild was good...i enjoyed it, but it didnt blow my mind or anything. This game however, BLEW MY MIND!!! I loved ot more than anything..just so perfectly designed, and so much fun.
What did you think of baldur's gate 3?
Pretty sure he hasn't played it yet. Bg3 is scary for a lot of people. But is absolutely amazing. And they keep adding stuff to it. For free!
You’re right Jonny it’s soooooo so overwhelming but you hit the nail on the head it is probably the best game ever made it’s incredible i had to put it up for a little bit to gather myself and figure out the path I want to take my favorite game of all time is a link to the past nostalgically and this has to be second for sure
Absolutely agree with feeling overwhelmed. I’ve a fair way in but think I also need to do the shrines to level up Link.
You spoke for my heart as well, Johnny 🙏TotK is the 🐐
I can't contain my enjoyment for Baldur's Gate 3. It's unbelievable good. Certainly my game of the year.
My GOTY was Armored Core VI this year! Great video as always!
ac6 was so good
Definitely my honorable mention. AC6 was an awesome game to play through.
What an incredible year for gaming! So many bangers. My personal GotY goes to Lies of P, but Baldur's Gate 3 and Tears of the Kingdom were very close behind
TOTK is my GOTY as well. I beat the final boss but have since easily doubled the amount of time I’ve played it. It is so packed full of discoveries and charm that I don’t want it ever be finished with it.
No shit it feels infinite! When it comes to adventure and exploration, it has no equal! TotK is definitely my game of the year.
TotK is my favourite switch game so far and also the Zelda game I enjoyed the most. I did not enjoy Botw that much but Tears blew me away and exceeded all my expectations.
I felt the exact same. I wasn’t crazy over BOTW.. but TOTK really sucked me in big time. I loved every second of it.
whwt made tears suck you in
Mine is Baldurs Gate 3. It is the culmination of 40 years of people trying to make a D&D video game. No matter what you choose to do it’s always compelling and exciting. Just an astonishing achievement.
Tired playing BG3 and man that game was boring I just dont see the hype
@@MalikATLand that’s okay. When games are being made correctly, not every game will be for every person.
Closer to 50 years, pedit5/dnd for PLATO is from 1975
@@MalikATL It's all good. If you weren't looking for a perfect D&D game, I can see how it would be boring.
nice troll comment@@DawnRazor-pd9yy
Always great to hear your love and passion Johnny! I love Zelda especially Breath of the Wild but tears of the kingdom didn't hit for me... I wasn't into the grind of the horrid shrines the unbalanced weapons and the contiuntion of the gripes i had in Breath ported over to this sequel... but my wife loved it so at least it was played in the house haha. My game of the year was easily Mario Wonder...
Baldur's Gate 3 blew everything away this year. It wasn't even close. One of the best games I have ever played, and I have been gaming since the 90's.
Baldur's Gate 3 is almost more than a mere game. With all that comes along with BG3 (visually, sonically, and story wise), its a tough one to beat for me personally.
Baldur's Gate 3 is my game of the year. It's so dang good, man.
Indeed!
100 percent agree John. Was able to go to a midnight release with a friend for the first time in a long time! Had so many elements to it that made it so special. (Even the God damn amiibo.)
Totk feels like it has a lot to improve on. The abilities are so well done, from ascend to ultrahand. However the game feels like it wants to be as open as possible but it doesn't at the same time. For example why dont they allow zonai devices in shrines. I feel they could've made more complex shrines while allowing you to use the zonai devices. Also it is kinda weird that they let you walk up and explore dungeons but they dont let you solve them until you get the sage. I think the questline should still be available, but the game should give you more options then it already does. I also think the depths and the sky are very shallow and repetitive. Not to mention the lack of narrative consistency with botw. This game feels like it wants to be a sequel but it also doesn't. That being said, this game is easily my favorite open world experience of all time. Right up there with elden ring and botw, and the fact that Nintendo's zelda team made this game on a fucking switch of all things gives me hope that they will no doubt top this game very easily. It is very easily my goty. Fantastic game.
Those are just personal nitpicks not actual problems
@@Raypwomen yep
Lots of great games this year, but I have to go with Hogwart's Legacy for my GOTY. So much fun and exploring Hogwart's castle was one of the most magical moments I have ever had in a video game.
I played a ton of games this year (finished something like 20!) but I actually only completed one from this year which was Bookwalker. Its a narrative adventure game with some RPG elements that swaps perspectives between first person and isometric to tell a cool story with neat ideas.
100% agree with you on this one! This game blew my mind, but BotW has the nostalgia for the initial experience of it all. And yes, Phantasy Star is still my favorite nostalgic game from the SMS days 😁
Tears is definitely my top game but man what a year! This game came out as I was recovering from surgery and man was it exactly what the doctor ordered. It's always going to be special to me for that alone. I still hold out hope that one of these adventures will actually give Zelda her time in the sun. How cool would it be if Link and Zelda team up and you can switch between them on the fly or something and work together to take down evil?
@HappyConsoleGamer
I really appreciate you sharing your opinion.
I actually did not fully enjoy my time with TOTK. I felt that the crafting was annoying, the world/enemies became repetitive, the “temples” were a huge letdown, and it just left me feeling disappointed after that initial honeymoon faze.
As of right now, I put it down before finishing the story. I try to pick it up every so often, but I just feel bored with it.
I’m so happy that other people find the game so enjoyable. It just wasn’t for me.
I agree I had fun but didn't beat it I'm not a fan of the new Zelda games
From what I've seen, they didn't fix any of the problems I had with Breath of Wild (which bored me too), so I may share your opinion once I play Tears of the Kingdom.
@@DicepairGames I was so bummed ☹️
I miss being EXCITED for The Legend of Zelda.
Here’s hoping they find a happy middle ground with the next one. I’d like better dungeons, a more traditionally told story, proper items, and a better world to be in if they want to keep it open like this. Having three variants of the same enemy does not make for a compelling experience……well, apparently it does. There’s still a HUGE fan base for these games.
@@coreylandrie8187 yeah….something was definitely missing. The more I played, the more annoyed I got with the crafting as well. It just wasted so much freakin time. It’s cool that you can solve puzzles or bypass obstacles in so many different ways. But, when you HAD to use it in a specific way to complete a challenge….it was one of the most tedious and obnoxious mechanics I’ve ever experienced. Almost as bad as that tilting mechanic in BOTW.
@@JM-pm1yb Yeah, I want all of that back. Unfortunately, it seems like Zelda won't be going back to its roots any time soon as these two last ones were very successful 😔.
I got bored with Elden Ring too because of its huge open world and repeated stuff. Hope they improve upon it or, even better, stick to the more condensed worlds they used to make 😖.
Great choice. It is a master piece.
Same here dude. I had to take a break. Too much stuff to do. But i miss playing it.
Baldur’s gate 3 is mine
Mine was Starfield
Put over 100hrs into. It's the 1st Bethesda game I ever completed and I am still playing it 😊
One game I feel like I'll be playing for years. With Mods and trying to just do more.
I love the story and multiple playthroughs can change the world after each time you finish it.
It's a great game, im over 500 hrs by now, still haven't finished the main story. I've been caught up in all the many things you can do in the game.
I’ve thought about this a lot this year. I’ve literally philosophized about this lol and as much as I can’t believe it either I 100% agree. Greatest game of all time. Just as the complete package. Lore history gameplay world building combat etc just wow
I'm between this, Hi Fi Rush, Stella of the End, and Octopath II. So many amazing games this year!!
Octopath for me!
I'm kinda jealous Johnny enjoyed this game as much as he did.
Was too similar to BOTW for me and had to wait too long while reusing so many assets.
That being said it is a great game.
For me id have to say Lies of P is my game of the year.
Yeah I agree! It's my goty also. Zelda Tears of the kingdom is incredible. I would say is my favorite game of all time. After I finished I was talking nonstop with my cousin about the game and we still talk about it to this day! I also wasn't hyped and after playing I couldn't believe how amazing everything was
same here its my game of the year!
